I have an issue about the wifi signal. When I use 4.4.2 KitKat Rom the wifi signal of my device seems to be lower than usual compares to
4.2.2 Rom at the same distance and the same router. Same In every 4.4.2 Kitkat Rom but 4.2.2 works fine. Please help.

Hi,
I just moved from Note2 stock ROM (rooted) 4.1.2 to Cyanogenmod 10.1 (latest nightly build as of today) 4.2.2 and now my note2 does not connect to home wifi (verizon router and Apple router). I did some research and found out samsung has a bug in 4.2.2 where it cannot connect to wifi 2.x Ghz bands but connects fine to 5.x GHz band. I am stuck at this point as my note2 does not connect to wifi. Have you heard of this problem before?
I tried both the mentioned wifi fix on the below link but it did not help

I am now thinking if I move back from 4.2.2 to 4.1.2 or 4.1.1 (Cyanogenmod) then I can get rid of the wifi problem.
If I have to move to 4.1.2 then I went to their website [link]get.cm/?device=t0lte and could not find the mod for the version 4.1.2 or 4.1.1 (for GT-N7105)

Guys long story short. I ported a ROM from the Xperia Neo V to our device. I almost solved all the issues but I still have the wifi issue. WiFi does not enable. I need some help please!

I've tried flashing a couple of 4.2.2 roms (i.e PAcman and jellybeer), and I'm facing the same wifi issue, in addition to this, my settings keep force closing when wifi is selected. :/
However, everything works fine on JB 4.2.1 and below Roms.
Any suggestions??

I just talked here about the battery drain of my s4 mini after KitKat update, i just tried a different version, the S5 Project (4.4.2) and the CM12. This last goes very well with wifi, but still persist battery drain when i use 3g or 2g connection.
So i found a user that talks about the downgrade to Jeally Bean using the Brazil 4.2.2 version.
I am downloading it, but i want to know if someone just tried this to solve the same problem.

Downgrade will not solve it. Only some custom kernels are able to do that.
Why do you say this? Did you just tried this solution ?
I used Jeally Bean with no problem for 9-10 months, and i just tried the brisk kernel (inclused in s5 project 4.4.2 rom).

I have a T210R Galaxy Tab 3, which I flashed with different roms to try them. Unfortunately, I have observed that wifi on it remains connected and stable only on StockROM I used, whereas no other roms (stock ones included) have wifi stable. Wifi keeps catching and losing signals after few seconds/minutes. Any idea why is this happening? If there's a wifi tweak for this let me know. I'd be grateful.

UPDATE: Resolved the issue by installing T210 instead of T210R roms. Works fine on both 4.2.2 and 4.1.2 now
