I found this thread but it seems *way* too complicated (2 "MISC Requirements", lots of Mods, a few "if you have problems with X, do this...").
What is the simplest thread with the most-straightforward flash back to stock? Thanks.

That's it.. Flash that in Odin and done, it's not as complicated as it looks. Problems occur for people no matter what, it's easier if the solutions are in the OP.

The KitKat one (ND8) has been released though, so you could go back to stock that way too

1) Where is the KitKat one?
2) I tried Odin, but the ROM above came in a ZIP file; ODIN is looking for TAR, MD5, SMD, GZ, TGZ files (at least when I pick the "PDA" option). What am I missing?

I haven't looked myself to see if this is the case, but have you looked inside the zip to see if there's a tar?
The tar for ND8 is in the development thread (non-original).
Sent from my Sprint Samsung Galaxy SIII with M.O.A.R. v9.0, dkp kernel dated 3/20/2014 and TWRP v2.7.0.0.

Hey bud... Why not just use a one-click FL24 everything, to have FL24 everything? Here: http://www.sxtpdevelopers.com/showthread.php?t=116 It will give FL24 ROM/Kernel/Model in the magic of one-click. Why not that? (I wonder why FL24, but that's not a relevant response )

erikalin,
Thank you for replying. But I wasn't able to get that file because my browser(Chrome) says the site doesn't exist. I'll google around and try to find the file. Or do you know where else to get the file? I'd appreciate it...
erikalin,
Do you know if I need FL24 installed before I install GB27? If not do you know where I can get a GB27 One-Click that includes everything also?
As always everything is appreciated

Hey guys. I just received my TMO Note 3 via swappa.com today. As previously stated the former had Will03 slimkat V20 on the device.
He originally told me he had TWRP on it, but upon arrival it has Philz recovery (not sure how he confused that)
I actually prefer Twrp and I was wondering if there is an easy way to get Twrp on the device instead. Thanks a million ?

Sure, it's easy to get TWRP for your device.
Here is the download link for the latest TWRP for N900T:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/45687485/openrecovery-twrp-2.7.2.0-hltetmo-4.4.zip
Just flash this in recovery mode.
Good luck!

NF1 is strictly optional, it's really not even an android os
upgrade, the firmware will still remain 4.4.2 just like you
have right now.
Unless you are having issues with the phone I would suggest
not to upgrade to NF1 or anything else until a newer than 4.4.2
android firmware becomes available.
Good luck!
I bought this samsung galaxy the T model. I rooted using ODIN>CWM>SUPERSU. Now i want to install wickedXrom but I have to update the bootloader to ND8 I believe or else risk bricking my phone. I've downloaded the philz recovery to odin flash it to my phone, but it doesnt show up after I click AP on ODIN, even though i have TWO philz recovery files in the folder. I tried removing ".md5" from the name and it turned into a zip file and that didnt help at all. The problem I'm having is with oDIN. If i try to flash "L710-ND8-Bootloader" I get a fail. If i try to flash philz it wont even show up under pda...
I've been researching and looking around for hours now before i finally decided to make a post.

It's good you're getting a fail. This doesn't apply to the L710T Model. Simply go to post #4 of my thread and there is a link to a tutorial on how to flash with the L710T Model. I'll update the OP to include this information so no one gets confused.

these are the instructions.. they're pretty simple but at #4 that file doesnt show up when I click PDA
1. Extract Download file
2. Put phone into download mode (power off, then power button + Volume Down, then volume up when prompted)
3. Open Odin (right click > open as administrator)
4. Load File L710VPUCND8_L710SPRCND8_L710VPUCND8_HOME.tar.md5 into the PDA slot
5. Start flashing
6. Grab some popcorn because it will take a while

Yes and yes. Make sure to uncheck everything in Odin before flashing. My ROMs both have the hotspot, Wicked X and Wicked S5 Xperience in Android Development.

If you're on NJ2 all you need is a custom recovery to flash the ROM. Then just follow the instructions on the thread. I recommend Philz Recovery.
Hi all,
I have a 32 GB S3 running Wicked X 4.4.2 with ktoons' kernel. I'm trying to return my S3 back to stock, but am having trouble with the two methods mentioned in the threads here and here. For the first, one click Odin gets stuck getting PIT mapping and the second, regular Odin fails it. I'm not sure if these are the latest one clicks or tars. I would appreciate any assistance.
Thanks.

You need the 32 GB PIT file, you have a different model than most people. I know I saw it posted somewhere in this forum but that was over a year ago.

Okay cool. I can't find any other links for the right pit file except Invisiblek's but I get a connection refused error, when I go to the site. I'm gonna keep looking.
Whats wrong with these?
