Simply not possible/not allowed without user confirmation.
Before thinking of advanced features you should build the rom from sources and check if you can install it. Did you do this already?

Yes, I already built custom ROM with some edit about hard key and any features, and after flash it run ok. But now I want to make my device can install my apps automatically. Don't need ask user or show something for user.
P/s: I'm sorry about my english skill. Hope you can understand what I mean.

[Q] how to flawlessly install or update roms?

hi there guys.
before posting this question i searched for my problem and i couldnt find a solution, i hope someone out there had the same problem and can help a noob.
-i have a gt 7105 unlocked generic.
-rooted
-twrp 2.4.1
-custom rom (cleanRom, 4.5 (congrats to the developer by the way))
problem is, i can install with no problem the 4.5 version, ALTHOU there is a new version 4.6.1 that i just cant install.
on the recovery everything is fine ( of course i do clean flash, wipe cash, format etc) but then i get stuck with the "samsung gt 7105" boot screen.
guys, i think i am missing something, and its buggin me. thanks for reading, any help is welcome. ( sorry if im forgetin to post more info)
ps: i also have a xperia arc, (lupus kernel), with custom rom ( xperia ultimate HD 2.0.3) THAT i am also unable to update/flash a newer version(3.0)!! i think the problem can be related, so i mentioned it.
There is no template way to install or update roms. It must be specified by the dev as to how to update the rom or install it.
It varies with the degree of mods.
You can try changing to appropriate kernels and doing a data wipe.

yes, you are right, and i did as the dev recomended, more than 3 times. i forgot to mention that my kernel is the latest perseus. which is used also by some in conjuction with cleanRom. what is buggin me is that i have no problems with instaling the previous version (4.5).
is it possible that not having the latest TWRP be the source of the problem??
thanks in taking the time to reply

[Q] Installing Google play on rooted stock 8.3.1 through TWRP

Hello all
I have been running CM10.1 but it is too unstable and shuts down or disable sound all the time - still to premature in my opinion. I was very happy with the features though, thanks Hashcode for the enourmous work you have put into this ROM.
Now I want to install stock rooted 8.3.1 firmware: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2142241 and would like to install Google Play through the TWRP I already have.
Please let me know, which is the most updated zip file for this installation?

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2072198 you wont need twrp just install the apk start from top of list and work your way down for google services and applications.

Firmware upgrading advice please

I still get lots of use out of my SM-P600, but I'm hitting a bit of a problem with free space.
I use OneNote combined with the S-pen as my note-taking combo of choice and I have extensive notes. OneNote doesn't have the ability to save notebooks to the external SD card and I work offline a lot, so can't readily open/close notebooks from the cloud. The point is, I'm now struggling a bit for free space on the device.
My newest phone (Android 6.0.1) has the ability to 'integrate' external sd memory into the main device memory.
Is that a firmware feature, or is it hardware?
Would upgrading my P600's firmware give me this functionality and let me have a lot more space to play with?
If so, what ROM upgrade should I use?
Sorry if these are stupid questions, but a pointer in the right direction would be much appreciated.
Thanks in anticipation.
John
If you are interested in rooting and installing Xposed framework, there is an Xposed module called XInternalSd that you can use.
That said, if you aren't familiar with the risks of root, xposed, flashing, etc, be sure to read up on it all a bit first.
Xda module thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/xposed-disablesignaturecheck-t2789267
Xposed module page: http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.pyler.xinternalsd
Good luck, and I hope this helps!
G'day John
Both Marshmallow & Nougat have the ability to integrate the sd as internal memory but you may need to install a custom ROM to achieve this. This will most likely involve you losing data. I'm a novice myself but so I am happy to lose data and reformat and start fresh, but there may be utilities to back up such things.
i recently installed Lineage OS myself but a host of issues so I then went the AOSP build and I am really happy with that, if you want to know how to do that I am happy to help.
Thanks kypreo,
I wasn't sure if it was a default feature or custom to certain suppliers, so that's good to know.
Also good to hear that some builds have issues and are, perhaps, to be avoided.
I've had a bit of a clear-out of some less-used apps, so the pressure's off a little. But I may well go down the AOSP route you suggest.

I went down that route and so far so good, sometimes its just dumb luck. To alleviate some file issues use an app called cc cleaner to ease off some system files to give you some breathing room. You can also move off app data on apps onto the SD card as well. just be aware once the apps update they go back to the internal storage sometimes so you will need to move them again.
Another reason as to why I went to a custom ROM.

Hi, sorry to hijack the thread. I have the 3g variant and have tried both Lineage 13 as well as 14.1 and experience random reboots, crashes and hanging. I am back to stock Touchwiz Lollipop 5.1.1 as of now but would be happy to try out AOSP rom. Can you please provide me with the link to download the rom?

Hi mate
Sorry for the delay, please see links below:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...om-android-source-project-19-11-2016-t3503423 (rom gapps)
https://gapps4android.wordpress.com/2016/03/20/gapps-package-comparison-which-to-choose/ ( a guide to select which gapps to use)
Be aware you need to root the original rom and install TWRP 3.0.0 aqnd above. Install the AOSP rom but do not reboot, install Gapps because if you reboot you lose TWRP and won't be able to install Gapps. I had to go to the original and do it from scratch.

Upgade from 7.1.1 to 6.0.1

Hi All,
Yes, it's not a mistake, I need to revert one of my Swifts to 6.0.1
I applied the 'update' offered by Wileyfox, and was appalled by the changes, especially foisting Truecaller on me. Because my other Swift is still on 6.0.1, I could see what had been broken.
So, I need help to find a signed zip + instructions on how to apply it please.
I would also like to remove the 'nag' from the other Swift, mainly to make sure I don't apply the upgrade by accident.
TIA
Dave

As I replied in the other thread, this would be your best bet for a stable ROM with good battery life: https://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-galaxy-s6/development/rom-tdh-jr-rom-t3550677
The QG4 software is just a minor security update different. There is one every month.
For rooting, we are all using Magisk. The advantages are that Magisk supports mods (this ROM uses that system to enable Synapse for longer battery) and that many applications won't detect that you are rooted. Magisk lets me use Android Pay, as an example. After install, the Magisk Manager will let you update to Magisk 14, which just came out.
