help for CWM recovery. - Galaxy Grand Duos i9082 Q&A, Help & Troubleshootin

Hello,
I flashed CWM recovery to my Galaxy Grand i9082, it worked correctly. I rooted my phone and when I came back to the recovery, there was no CWM recovery. I could just see the Android recovery again. I flashed CWM recovery again and then I made a backup of my full system and rebooted my Grand and when I went to CWM recovery again, and it was not there again. :/
idk what's the problem with it, but it would be really appreciated if anyone could help me.

dont frgt to press thanks if i helped!!...

Issue flashing CWM recovery

Hey guys,
So I just rooted my rogers galaxy s3 and I'm trying to install CWM recovery. My phone isnt on the ROM manager list so I tried flashing it through odin. I've tried about 7 times each with different versions of cwm recovery and odin keeps saying it was a success but whenever I try to go into recovery mode I just go to android system recovery and not CWM recovery. I have no clue why this is happening.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Zach

Btw i dunno why its not working it worked for me.. but i switched cuz CWM SUCKS get twrp bruh its touch and everything and it tells you how much battery you have while flashing...
Download goomanager off playstore... download some random rom (you dont need to flash the rom its only so it gives u the link to the open recovery) you will be asked if you have a recovery installed say no install open recovery they install TWRP on your phone done.. happy flashing

Had the same problems, follow this guide use the latest versions of everything (Odin, etc.). The key is the pulling of the battery after flashing and before you boot. Once I did that I got into CWM no problem.

Yeah I ended up installing TWRP, and I flashed this rom:

Good so far!
This is probably the same issue i was having where the stock recovery kept coming back. You will need to rename or delete these two files.
/system/recovery-from-boot.p
/system/etc/install-recovery.sh

[Q] Getting flickering screen when entering recovery mode

Hello there,
I am new to this forum so tell me if I do something wrong
Today I decided to flash a custom ROM ( I already rooted it... ) and wanted to enter recovery mode to make a backup etc. etc.
But when I held Volume Up + Home Button + Power Button it first showed the samsung note II text and then started flickering with something like brown stripes...
Does anyone knows what it is and what the solution is for it?
Thanks in advance,
Ahmed
If you wanted to make a backup you should have a custom recovery so which one?
Which firmware or custom rom do u currently have?

I tried to flash the TWRP recovery with goomanager ( is it good and reliable? ), but the problem still appeared...
I will jump if someone could help me out of this
Thanks!
EDIT:
Can doing these kinds of things brick my phone or is my phone already bricked? ( the phone can start normally and works )

Galaxy Tab 3 Lite RECOVERY LOOP

Okay so I finally got a recovery installed on my tab 3 lite which was philz touch, worked perfect.
The problem I am having is that it keeps booting into recovery, what do I do to make it boot to the home screen?

Please can you tell us all steps by rooting The tab , and become your prob.
Was The rooting sucsesful, and you can Boot to The Rom, or comes this prob directly after flash The recovery and manuell booting Into The recovery?
Have you install The Quickboot APP?
After I flash the recovery it Is only booting to recovery, it won't allow Me to do Anything else
EDIT: I fixed it, just reflashed it to stock then flashed recovery and gained root access with universal root!

I flashed the latest 4.2.2 firmware through odin, because it was recovery looping, I have the link for the firmware if you want it.
I then flashed philz touch cwm through odin also, after that I installed the universal root through cwm and boom, it works
