Hi there , you can ask in the thread. No need to open another thread. This clutters the forum.
On that note, thread closed.

Need fresh odin files . Pit and Tar

Hi guys , I bricked my phone , i need fresh Tar and Pit files to odin back to stock . please post fresh files . ive tried other posts and it keeps getting stuck at modem.bin
Wrong section. And also look at the stickied thread on how to restore from the brink. That one works fine for me. Try other USB cords and ports.

It is the cord, not the files.

Edit: it is not Russian and doesn't autoplay
This is the second time I've had to move your thread because it was in the wrong section. From now on I'll just delete them

Nope. Asking for files would go in Q&A, not development, unless you have a ROM, kernel, how-to, or mod to post. Now, in one of your many threads ( this one in particular http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1461233 ) they already told you where to find the right thread to get you out of your jam.

Stickies are threads that will remain at the top of the section no matter when the last post was. They have a little thumbtack next to them. You don't have to "get to them" they are right there
But the point I was making is there are different sections of this particular phone model (as with all). If your post is asking a question, then it belongs in the Q&A section. Development is only for devs to use with downloadable roms, tweaks, mods, kernels, etc.

Click on where it says stickies from the app, or if on desktop site, look for a pin next to the thread title.

Isn't the latest version T989UVLE1? Does anyone know where I can get a Clockworkmod flashable radio?

He's right.
It's pretty freaking simple - if you have a question, it doesn't go in the Development section, it goes in the Questions & Answers section
Thanks a lot TDJ! You saved my phone

OTA vs. flashing updates

Is there any reason to flash an update through a .zip instead of updating OTA?

You don't just ask to move it. From a browser click the report thread button and kindly tell a moderator that you made a mistake.

As with most things Android, I think it is just personal preference (and time). I know the scripts are becoming more advanced but I like flashing zip files...it sort of brings back the excitement of the first few flashes and satisfies that craving to flash something new lol
Manually flashing has less room for error as you perform all the wipes manually. Scripts aren't perfect, but I guess I haven't had any issues with it thus far.

You can't be serious that you started a new thread in the development section to ask this question???
Ask the builders in their threads. This will probably get moved or deleted.
page 2 dude, search button all over the forum.
