I have been experiencing no sound on calls, whether it's outgoing or incoming. No sound whatsoever, the person can't hear me and vice versa. My phone's on the Xtremeperia Rom v6 and I don't think it;s a ROM problem because I previously had the Jedi Mind Trick v9 ROM and experienced the same no sound on call. Every other audio works fine, it's just the phone calls that I never hear sound from. I've tried rebooting, restoring, hard & soft reset but no fix. If anyone has a solution or fix please tell me thanks so much in advance!
Has to do with the radio

Hi guys. I have a rooted at&t samsung note 2. I have this problem with my phone since I bought it. Each time I use the speakerphone or the video chat on Skype, Tango, or viber the other party stops hearing me! As if my mic stops working! This happens only if I turn the speaker on and not when I use earpiece! It doesn't happen when I do regular calls.
Not sure what the problem is. Is it compatibility issue or something wrong with my phone. The new update didn't fix it and it is really becoming a frustrating issue.
I appreciate your help.

I had the same issue, you a probably using a mod that is messing it up. Factory reset and see if it works. If it does then you know it was a mod of it doesn't then it is defective.

I did factory reset. Same problem . Do you think it is a hardware problem? Strangely, it does that only with Skype, Viber, Tango but not with the native phone app.. When I make regular phone calls the speaker phone works well as well as the mic.
Any other suggestion before I head back to AT&T store?
I appreciate any help.
The phone otherwise works great.
I have that e same problem. Did u fix urs?

I'm having issues with my WiFi calling's caller ID when im home(Optimum Online).
Caller ID always comes up with the caller's phone number with a semicolon and two random digits afterwards(62 or 63)
Went to my friends house and it worked perfectly there(he has FiOS)
Am I the only one with this issue?
This actually a known issue with note 3 wifi calling. Happens to me at work on comcast and at home on fios.

It is a known issue please call T-Mobile and report the issue so they will fix it.

It looks like if I get a call from a T-Mobile number, it works fine. All other carriers have the semicolon issue.
Not a home internet carrier issue

The really odd thing is that it never happens for me (even with receiving calls from other carriers). I have Comcast for my ISP and no semicolons or extra numbers are displayed. The only thing I haven't tried is receiving a call from a number that I dont have in my contacts. Maybe thats why I dont have a problem?
When one of my contacts tries to call me, my phone rings and I am only able to see their phone number but not their name. Their phone info will show in this format 1-234-567-8910; oli;63
When I try to call one of my contacts, it acts normal and also shows in the phone logs. I restored the phone to factory settings, but still not able to solve the problem. Any ideas?
Thanks

Let me guess: T-Mobile // WIFI calling?
Getting the same issue.

Never had this problem with any other Wifi calling device. Hopefully it gets fixed in the next update.

Same problem.
Resolved by disable WiFi Calling, wait 60 secs, and turn in back on (if needed)
I Called T-mobile and Tech support sent me couple of SMS and made me turn off and then turn on the phone and called me again and it
seemed to have fixed the problem , but then I realized that problem is fixed from receiving calls from T-mobile numbers or land lines, but the from Verizon number it came with the ;oli;63
This is very strange, hopefully gets fixed soon.
Well I am having another problem now. That is, my phone calls are being rejected automatically when on Wifi calling when the phone is in a deep sleep. I checked under the call settings and changed the auto rejection mode off, but the problem is still there. Can someone else confirm this by chance?

If you are having this issue please report it to T-Mobile so they are aware that it is a wide spread issue and work to fix it.

Ready reported it to T Mobile. Not sure if they will fix it soon enough.
Also not getting HD Voice at all.
I have the same issue. I don't have service in my house, so the wifi calling feature is amazing. I've always used a nexus and hard to use third party apps and voips and connect with gv. For the most part if you recognize the number minus the olli, it's no big for now. I'm glad I can still make calls. Update should fix. At least it doesn't happen on reg network.

I called tech support in T Mo and they are sending me a new Note 3. But I doubt that will resolve the issue.

I turned wifi off; but now when a call comes in it is reported as "unknown." could this be an issue with root? would odining back to factory resolve this?

Alright, just called tmo and they said that they are aware of the problem and working to fix it. Hopefully we should see a fix soon!

When I spoke to TMO yesterday the tech guy said they should have the fix by Thursday. If it is still happening by Friday I will bug them again, so far call from landline and tmobile number are comming in fine.

I got a second Note 3 from T Mo and still see the same Caller ID issue along with no HD Voice call capability.
I am returning mine until they fix the bugs (no HD Voice call support, 5Ghz WiFi connection instability, and this Caller ID problem)
I really would like to keep the phone... I love the huge display... but I think I will have to stick with my HTC One for now.

How can one tell when HD Voice calling is active/inactive?
Hey guys I noticed the other day that I can't use the mic on my phone. In a phone call no one can hear me and Google now doesn't register me speaking to it. However when I'm in a phone call if I put the phone on speaker phone it works ... I did a complete wipe and reflashed my ROM this didn't change anything .. Any suggestions?

Do you have the latest firmware/radios?
I did! I had to update them when I flashed UnSense ROM. I'll flash them again when I get off work

I had this happen to mine last weekend. The person on the other end could only hear static with an occasional partial word, but it worked fine on the speaker. I searched google and found a funny sounding solution that fixed my issue, and it has been working fine since. I called my wife's phone and put her's on speaker so I could hear the static. I then blew gently into the mic hole on my phone, when the static stopped the mic was working properly again. :good:
I'm assuming it had a piece of lint or dirt in the mic hole. Hope this helps you out as well.
Huh... I'll try it! Hopefully it works out!
