Is there any way to blink the lights between the keys when you get notifications?

Sometimes i dont see the Notificationlight on the Side.
It would be very useful if there would be some apps to programm the NotificationLight on the Keyboard `?
Light Flow does the trick
Search for what is more simple. Are too many settings that you must make.

Which Settings i should use / change ?

If I'm not wrong, DoomKernal has this feature built-in (v11 & v12). Checkout the thread in the development section to make sure (I'm not yet running v11 or v12 to confirm).
Anyone know if there has been a mod/script/patch/app to allow for customisation of the LED notification yet?
Lightflow doesn't seem to work on ICS and haven't been able to find anything else - would love to tweak it - happy to test - my nexus is root ready for anyone wanting to make me a crash test.
Cheers.

Wrong forum really..... But the only 2 options are Lightflow (works for me) or Trackball notification that works with Paul's Rom.

Did you pull that from the market? I get no notice colours? Pro or Free?
Actually, just ran "test all LEDs" under tools, and its come good on LightFlow - random.
Thanks
Mods - feel free to kill.
LightFlow work (check "Run in foreground")
LightFlow works fine for me. Notification LED is only shown when the screen is off.
...If you didn't already know that...
LightFlow works for me about 60-80% of the time. But it's not very reliable.
Light Flow seems to work for me okay so far. The only issue is that the colors aren't "true." What I mean by that is that my "yellow" glow has some red and green in it as well, especially around the edges of the notification light.
Anyone else seeing this?

Not true. You can have it on while the screen is on using lightflow

I've been hearing so much about them but I installed them and they don't seem to do anything. I hear everyone talking about it.... could someone tell me what it does for OUR device?

BLN stands for Backlight Notifications, when you get a notification your LED lights on the front of your phone (i.e. menu, home, back, and search buttons) light up. As for "light flow light," idk..

...as long as the kernel youre running supports it
"Light flow" changes the color of your led light, it doesn't work on the sgs2 since we don't have an led.
If you have BLN Pro you can make your backlights blink whenever you have a text message or notification.

Light flow gives you the ability to have bln for all apps. It will not change the color but it will enable bln for whatever you have set in light flow. For example, stock messaging

lol thanks for asking, i was searching for what BLN mean.
Hey guys, I'm looking for a mod, app or something which can make the soft buttons light up when there is a notification like a missed call, unread message etc.
I would appreciate a lot any assistance.
Thanks in advance.

There is NoLed app which can make pixels light in screen and there is nothing to light up the buttons?!
What's the deal with bln kernel? Needs root? It's a custom rom or what?

Nothing because an app that interacts with the screen doesn't rely on a kernel feature like BLN. The feature itself doesn't require root while the apps to manage it yes (BLN control for example) but this is not the problem. No custom rom or anything, just a kernel feature and since no kernel developer joined our community I guess no one here is able to unpack zImage, integrate BLN and repack the whole thing (custom kernel). However I'm confident it's only a matter of time
On Play Store there's an app that should make soft button light up with notifications, it's called Light Flow if I don't get wrong but AFAIK it doesn't work with our device
BLN kernel is now available!

Hey all,
I know that in contacts you can set the notification LED's colour to be a certain colour for a certain contact, but I was wondering, is it possible to use an app or something or manually set it for each function?
Like when I get a message if it could be say purple and when facebook notifications come through could it be blue, when I get a call it could be green, etc.
Unless the G3 already has this feature built in (In which case I'm missing it) does anyone know of a way to do this? I had an old LG phone and I was able to do it with that but I'm not sure if you can on this one. Can you without rooting or is there a way to with root?
Thanks in advance guys!

Try out Light Flow. The link I provided is for the free version. If it works out for you you can upgrade to the paid version which will give many you more options.
Light manager works and does not require root
Cheers guys
Light flow doesn't require root to function well...
