Just flashed MIUI V5 4.4.25 Developer ROM. I'm at the language selection screen and the touch isn't working (hardware keys working)
Install another rom, it's probably because the hboot is to high to support the old touch panel drivers !
If you want the sense 5 based on or just a sense based Miui rom, go to the forum where also some devices are listed in a list then take the first HTC one x one which should be android 4.2 ...that should be the sense 5 based one which also have to work

Fixed it by choosing ported rom instead of developer rom

hi. I can't write english very good .I'm sorry
I want find new rom for my desire z but i don't khow which ics rom+sense 4 is beter
I know exist one rom with this situation by name of {ice crame senswitch} but i don't know this rom is stable and good or i should wait for Eliminate bugs of this rom or i wait for new stable rom whit this situation
All Sense ROMs currently available for our devices are Sense 4A versions (the strimmed down version on the One V).
The full Sense 4 ROM will need resizing and performance tweaks, just as Sense 3/3.5. But once the bugs are all ironed out, we'll get there.
So I got my HTC One X a few days ago. I wanted to flash a ROM on it, but I like the stock camera. I read somewhere that I can't put the stock cam on sense-less roms. so it would be possible to put it on sense-based roms?
I saw this rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1705334
it's sense-based. would it be possible to use the stock camera here? I think it would, but I'd like to make sure :fingers-crossed:
Yes it works in ANY sense based rom. Even if you de-sense a rom you are only getting rid of the launcher and a few other bloatware apps. The camera app won't be removed.
It's not compatible on non sense based roms such as CM9/CM10/AOSP/AOKP based roms as they utilise stock Google and extremely hard to port over due to closed drivers and certain libs.

Hi,
I have Android Revolution HD on my HTC desire HD. It's great but I can't find a way to automatically update it. For example when new version of Android or Sense received. Original stock roms was great since they are updateable. If I switch back to original stock rom, is it possible to have latest Android and Sense?
The only reason there are custom roms is because HTC officially dumped are phone, so when you want the latest sense and android you need to manually flash a Rom of your choosing! No other way out bro!!

For Rom update, Neo XGS http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1829764 offers update notification through GooManager, but it's not Sense rom...

The only problem is that htc doesn't update as often as the cookers here in xda. Besides the problems you may have, like the problem I had with gps and took like a month to solve officialy by htc.
There's not such an official rom for desire hd with sense 3.6 or sense 4, but you may find great roms here.
I personaly recomend the XGS Série's rom (not a sence rom).
Bye
existz's aospX has an OTA updater.
Sorry if is a stupid question, but it´s posible to take CM10 base and add all sense 4 stuff to make a Jellybeam Rom with HTC Sense 4?
It´s this so complicated, and we need to wait until HTC release some leak ROM with JB and Sense 4.0 or 4.1 to one of his mid-range terminal with non HD screen?.
Currently using Nik Project X v4.1 that works pretty well, but want to have JB without loosing Sense.
Thanks for all.
I think it's not possibly for this monent, because HTC Sense 4 applications (Camera.apk, and others) are compiled using ICS frameworks.
For example, when I try to install Camera.apk from 4.0.4 ICS to 4.0.3 (via adb install), it gives an error, that shows difference in FW version.
This belongs in Q & A, not development bubba
Hi,
I just want to ask if there is any possibility to install htc sense 6 (or htc sense 5) to a non-sense ROM.
My device is HTC One X and the custom ROM I'd installed is AICP - 5.0 from here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2632591) with updates installed.
Thanx :fingers-crossed:
What ?
1: use a non sense rom and use a themed launcher
2: use a sense 5 rom
3: use viper x which has some sense 6 features
4: those are the only 3 options you have
Thanx for your response.
I search for just the htc 6 launcher to install over the aicp rom but I didn't find anything.
And AICP rom is the only 4.4.4 rom which worked for my htc one x ... all others roms I've tried have problems, so I don't want to change rom and install a sense one.
Then it's up to you
Yeah I'll keep trying (and searching for sense launcher)
Thanx!!!!
