Hi,
I have Android Revolution HD on my HTC desire HD. It's great but I can't find a way to automatically update it. For example when new version of Android or Sense received. Original stock roms was great since they are updateable. If I switch back to original stock rom, is it possible to have latest Android and Sense?
The only reason there are custom roms is because HTC officially dumped are phone, so when you want the latest sense and android you need to manually flash a Rom of your choosing! No other way out bro!!

For Rom update, Neo XGS http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1829764 offers update notification through GooManager, but it's not Sense rom...

The only problem is that htc doesn't update as often as the cookers here in xda. Besides the problems you may have, like the problem I had with gps and took like a month to solve officialy by htc.
There's not such an official rom for desire hd with sense 3.6 or sense 4, but you may find great roms here.
I personaly recomend the XGS Série's rom (not a sence rom).
Bye
existz's aospX has an OTA updater.

Hey guys,
From a lack of postibg permissions, I can't post this in the right forum. Hopefully this works here.
Anyway, I just wanted to know if it is possible to downgrade HTC Sense from 3.0 to 2.0 while keeping the latest version of Mike1986's Android Revolution HD (6.3.1)?
Sense 3.0 is good looking and all, but I'd like to have the sense 2.0 back because it feels better to me.
Is this possible? Thanks in advance!

You'll have to flash an older ROM for that. One which is based on Sense 2.x(whichever you want...)

Hi,
It is possible but I doubt at this moment you will be able to do that. First of all you need files that belong to Sense 2.0 which after flashing will replace Sense 3.0. Developers have made the Rosie Scroll smooth and transparent but I haven't seen anyone replacing it.
Why don't you just remove HTC sense? Use Mike NO-SENSE script from second post. Don't forget to do Nandroid backup before doing anything with your phone.
Hello,
where can I download HTC Sense 3.5 ???
best regards huggy
If you have a custom ROM installed or if your phone is rooted you could download a sutiable ROM that has sense 3.5 on it. If not then you'll have to wait until HTC realise it for your phone in an update.
You can check for software updates VIA Settings>About Phone>System updates

As above
take a look in the dev forum: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=765 and find one with Sense 3.5
You can't just update Sense. You must have rom with specific version of sense. You can chack if there is on official update or just install one of sense 2.5 based custom roms.
if your are rooted, i would suggest SmartDroid rom but there are lots of others in the development section

Hello guys,
I am currently running HTC desire with official HTC RUU gingerbread 2.3. Phone is rooted with super user access. I have tried the ice cream sandwich rom but will installt it permanently once it has been refined.
In the interim, is there anyway I can update my phone to using the lastest sense or sense 2.1 even ? I would basically like to stay as stock as possible but with the new htc sense without any compromise in speed. maybe I am asking too much. But could you direct me to a good rom please ?
many thanks
I'm currently on seb15's runnymede aio 5.0.4 with a2sdx and I realy like my desires speed and look. it's with sense 3.5 android 2.3.5 and many other usefull things.

Hello everyone,
The question I have is, I was wondering if it's possible to flash AHRD themes on top of Android Revolution HD 7.0.1 with HTC Sense 3.5, Based on 1.05.401.4 HTC Sensation XL
I would like to flash the new BlueHD for ARHD 6.3.x on top of Android Revolution HD 7.0.1 but wanted to know if there are going to be issues?
I have also installed Kernel 11.1 with 2-way recording support in conjunction with 7.0.1 now I just want to have BlueHD and I'm happy as apple pie.
If anyone knows of any issues or all is good would be greatly appreciated.
There will most likely be errors since 6.xx was running Sense 3.0 while 7.xx is having Sense 3.5.
Make a nandroid backup via CWM and try it out, only then you can be sure.
Unlikeley for most part, the only joy I ever had was flashing the sense 3.0 lock screen on rcmix 4.0 besides that nothing,
