Yah I found a version that has that and doesn't have the stupid autoplay of videos. Delete the Facebook you have installed now and install the one in the link. Make sure you turn off auto update after though.

By sdcard I mean internal storage and thanks for pointing it out
Extract the content and move to the root of the internal storage
You will have a file named libffmpeg.so

Actually, it doesn't seem to do it on the N7. Using the same file attached in the OP, my Galaxy Nexus auto hides the notification bar but my Nexus 7 doesn't. I eMailed the a few weeks ago but haven't heard anything back.

custom plugin issue
I'm using the custom plugin workaround for DTS audio. When it works, it works very well. I find that everytime I launch Diceplayer, I have to go into settings and disable custom plugin and then go back into settings and re-enable custom plugin for video playback with DTS audio to work without a "Video cannot be played" error.
Is there any way to set the custom plugin to where you don't have to constantly turn it off then on again to "reinitialize" for it to work? Thanks for the support so far.
I'm overdue for sending a donation for this fantastic piece of software; I won't have any more reason to hold back once this issue is fixed.
Thanks!

I know this is sort of in the wrong thread, but I'm trying to get this to work on my Droid RAZR. I have the lib installed in the correct location and DicePlayer sees it and appears to load it. However, when trying to play my MKV I still get no audio at all. It is decoding the video in HW mode just fine. Looking at the audio stream it is shown as AC3. Is there something I'm missing or doing incorrectly ?

i got the same issue on my Nexus7 with MKV files. no audio. both on Dice and MX.
but VLC Beta fixes all that. still the best player out there.
for everything else, MX player plays everything without any plugins or whatever. Dice can suck it.
I was just wondering if the pop up video feature on the galaxy note 2 is compatible with only the native video player or is there a mod to allow it to work with even video apps ? Thanks !

If you want something similar for it that works with YouTube try Popcorn Player
There's a few that are pop up. DICE player is what I was using on my GSII, I believe it's the same company that made the one for the Note II. There is also another one that'll do youtube pop up playback but I didn't like the integration so I don't use it anymore.

Hi all,
After update to 4.3 I realize that Dice Player is crashing (vitamio is crashing too), try to install MX Player and right now still not support 4.3 yet....
Any player is running well at 4.3 on your Gnex?
Got a bunch of .flv cartoon videos that my daughter usually watch, now there's no player can play it. the stock player won't play it back.
The waiting game is all that's left. Nothing works for 4.3 as the api hasn't been implemented yet. The source pack hasn't been given to developers yet.

I don't know if it's been posted here, but some of you may have noticed that updating the YouTube app completely messed up saving a video to scrapbook. It just saved the screenshot and you would have to uninstall the YouTube update to get it to work.
To get the videos to save on your scrapbook all you have to do is click the share button on YouTube and select scrapbook. Now the videos play within scrapbook.
I don't know if I'm just an idiot for not trying that in the first place, but just posting this to maybe help out someone who hasn't figured it out yet.

Did you try to open a video from mobile youtube (on dolphin or another browser)? Does it open mx player or stock video player? On mine it doesn't ask to choose..

You'll need to use FDroid (look it up on Google etc.) to get AdAway - it's alternative store for open source apps
I'd buy the Pro version though, even if it's to just support the developers.
