Makes no difference what ROM you are currently on, as long as you have TWRP installed. Just follow Installation instructions in OP.
Please give precise install instructions. After clean flash on JB TWRP (wipe everything except internal and external, then flash), I'm stuck on the Huawei Ascend logo.

Like I said in first post I flashed with KK TWRP, I don't think it makes difference. If you are downgrading from KK ROM see my post above, you need to flash that small update.app first.
As you know MIUI is based on P6-U06V100R001C17B120. I flashed LeWa from MIUI.
I did the same steps as you, but immediately after flash I wiped dalvik and cache again.
I have a question. Does it have a home screen lock function? like Go Launcher Ex, where you can lock your home screen, to prevent any unwanted changes to the installation, or in some ROM case, accidental uninstallations of apps.

I did it and it works, I don't know what to say and what problems are using it with JB.

Hi Surdu,
I did post it there but moderator moved it. Someone else complained about same thing, his post moved from there to here.
So I don't know what's going on with moderation here.
I have edited original post giving credit to Ry09iu. I ask moderator to please move the thread where it belongs.
Thank you

Yep, but also you must edit your OP ( first post ) to look like other custom rom thread !
You must have a dedicated section for : Changelog, Downloads, Installations, Credit and so on .... You can inspire from other posts already made !
As you posted you now, can not be placed in the section of Android P6 Development, because it does not meet these conditions .
Thanks for sharing! Installed, and it works!
For those who don't know how to install, you can add this to OP:
INSTRUCTIONS
-Make sure you are on a stock JB ROM
-Install CWM using Xuefy's recovery installer (translation)
-Download MIUI
-Make sure it's on your EXTERNAL SD CARD
-Reboot into CWM
-Factory reset
-Flash MIUI from your external SD card
-Factory reset (or else you will get stuck on MIUI logo)
-Reboot system
-Flash TWRP for JB
-Download LeWa OS 5.1 & JB GApps
-Reboot into TWRP
-Go to wipe -> advanced
-Wipe everything except for internal and external
-Go to install
-Select LeWa OS
-Add zip to que
-Select JB GApps
-Install
-Wipe cache and dalvik
-Reboot
Settings will crash when trying to add a google account on boot, so skip it, and add it in settings!
Enjoy ^^

Okay, so I found a big issue (at least for me)
The Play Store won't update or install anything! Every app always gets stuck on the same percentage (Play Music always gets stuck at 100%, Google Search at 58% etc.). Clearing app cache, app data, removing and re-adding google account, even reinstalling GApps or trying another package all didn't work for me, and resulted in the exact same outcome. So for now I'm going to need to go back to another ROM

There is no need to flash MIUI.
I don't use Google account so Play store issues don't bother me. But apparently there are some simple solutions for Play store, search here at XDA if you like this ROM.

I'm not sure you get my question. Let me rephrase that. Perhaps I should use the word 'desktop' as some ROM called it, where all the apps and widgets are mostly. Where you tap and hold to move the app shortcut or edit widget around. The Go Launcher EX has a function to lock this 'desktop' so that no editing can be done.

I knew there was simple solution to Play store getting stuck at 100% download. It may not be acceptable solution but it works. All you have to do is exit Play store, while it shows 100% downloaded, reboot and the app you were downloading will install when phone is rebooted. Weird.

Yes, but installing B118 or B120 stock may brick your phone, while MIUI can be flashed from B125, which is 100% safe
Google Play issue is really annoying for me. If you don't use Play, what app store do you use?

I don't use Google for few reasons, one of them is that Google services are consuming too much battery.
Here is a tip to save lot of battery if you are using Gapps:
Use Disable service app to disable some Google services, main culprit is Gtalk service which you absolutely don't need if you don't use Hangouts.
And for apps Mobogenie has everything I need.

OK, I might get trolled unrelentlessly, but right now I don't care...
The girlfriend loved the look of some of these themes, and asked me to install one. I didn't realize at the time that not being on a TW-based ROM that it would fail as badly as it has.
At this point in time, I can get into the OS, see her home screen. Google acct info is completely gone, home button does not work, and no matter what order of operations I use in terms of bringing this thing back to life will work. HELP.
TB will fail to restore ACTUAL settings for "Account", etc. If/when it does finish, the phone boots straight to boot-animation, but does not go any further, period.
I've been at this for 2hrs now, and I'm getting nowhere. Do I need to install a TW-based ROM, THEN wipe again and install AOSP like she had before?
For clarification, I've tried wiping EVERYTHING, including full reset in CWM.
The problem is that I get a FC on "False.4.1.2-eng-nocoast.20121030.123453", and the status-bar is completely gone. I can use TB to remove the "False" apk, but I can't find a way to get the status bar back. I've tried installing the ROM fresh after full wipe of all caches, plus factory-wipe from within CWM. All this amounts to is the ROM booting to its splash-screen without continuing, OR getting to Android, but the home button doesn't work, and there is no way to associate a Google account with it at that point in time. I thought I could remedy this by simply having TB update.zip run before first boot after fresh install, but even though it allows the Play store and other Google apks to install, it won't let me associate an account for Google. The list consists of Exchange and something else.
Basically - I need to know if this means I have to Odin back, start over...or if there is some way to get the phone to recognize the 2 missing components without doing that.
I do have one nandroid, but it was done right after the initial realization of failure with the theme install, so it essentially puts me back to square-one.
You need to be on a tw rom; as that theme is tied into the tw framework.
What you should do is:
-do a full wipe in recovery
-download / flash your tw rom of choice
-flash the theme
In the future, tw / aosp themes are meant to be used on the respective rom source.

What recovery are you using? If you flash twrp and wipe the system, along with the caches and factory, that will definitely be the end of that.
And you flashed the same rom with the theme?

If you're able to get into the os, I would install the goo manager app > menu > install open script recovery > install twrp recovery. Then boot into recovery, make sure to wipe the system. That should do it, cuz just seems something isn't wiping. Additionally, I may re-down that rom if its giving you issues; did you modify the zip at all?

I'll give that a try. I didn't modify the ROM; I never do, I just install them. It's the Liquid Smooth AOSP, and it has been just that up until I had my "senior moment" last night.

So, I got TWRP 2.3 on, wiped everything, flashed the ROM, Gapps, and ran Fix Permissions (which resulted with "failed"), and rebooted. Same story - goes into Android, home button doesn't work, and no Google account associated with the phone. Also, no menu option to add one. There is only "Corporate" and "Email".

This particular ROM uses a different SU app that I hadn't seen before using it, but I have the same phone with the same ROM, and it runs as the title says, "Liquid Smooth". So it's not an issue with the ROM or how it was packed. I'm trying a different ROM now, to see if I have better luck.

I was going to suggest trying a different wrong, because the instructions I gave you should have worked, not to say you're doing it wrong. If i remember, that was was ported, so it could have inherent issues, or some unknown ones; I haven't flashed it yet, so I can't advise. Flash aokp, I know everything is working there.

OK, here's the latest:
-Wiped everything in TWRP - caches, system, data, basically every option for wiping in the menu.
-Flashed AOSP ROM by codefireX, yet another that I've used before, and has worked almost flawlessly for me.
-Flashed JusTunBean's Aroma installer for gapps, been using it for months with no issues.
-Boots to OS, home button now works, and the status bar is there. Immediately get a FC on Gmail, without opening any apps.
-Still no Google account, and no option within "Accounts" to add one. <----main problem at this point.

Nothing in the menu button to add accounts?
And with that aroma installer, are you adding the thing for the account setup, that prompts you for the gmail account etc? I don't use the aroma installer, but I know it lets you select which packages to install, and you may not be installing it.

Nothing at all in the menu for it :/
The gapps installer menu is Aroma-driven, but it has its own menu. It's designed to let you choose which gapps you want installed "inverted", and what, if any, additional features you'd like added. I've tried everything from completely foregoing installing them altogether, to installing all of them. There is no menu option for adding account setup.
Since all else had failed just Odin back to stock and reroot. Then you should be good to go. You also might have something on the internal sd card that is not playing nice. So id wipe that too then use odin. Make sure you get any pics etc saved first so you don't lose them.

That's the last thing I was gona have him do, but avoiding it if possible.
I figured it out. It had nothing to do with remnants of whatever messed it up in the first place. For the first time since I've used that specific gapps installer - it has failed me. You were right when you said it should be creating a google account prompt as a result of installing the gapps (I always thought that was part of the ROM, not the gapps zip).
I loaded the previous version of the gapps zip, it still uses Aroma, and it worked like a charm.
Thanks a TON for the persistence responses, I sincerely appreciate it. Nothing like looking like an ass to your girl when you think you know your Android...heh
Holy hell, I've lost a lot of sleep, Batman.

I have been doing this for many years. I have goten to points of soft bricking where recovery is impossible to get in to and where I needed to enter download/bootloader modes. The only way to restore a nandroid is if I have backed it up to my computer beforehand, flashed a firmware in download/bootloader mode then re-root/unlock and flash a recovery again, transfer the nandroid to my device and hope the data has not been corrupted during the process between phone and computer. I have actually needed to do this several times and more than once the nandroid was not restorable.
MIUI V5

I ended up flashing LEWA OS. Very fast and everything seems to be working fine for me. GPS is working better for me now than on stock, camera and HDR mode are great, speed is good. Wifi and Data is working flawlessly. Beautiful lockscreen and UI. All of the theming options seem to be working as well (for those familiar with MIUI etc.) The rom has a lot of visual tweaking and you can even kill the current running app by long pressing the back button *note* it does work, you just need to hold it for longer. You can also swipe in between the notifications and the switches tabs anywhere on the screen
The first time I flashed this it would not pass the boot animation. I ended up flashing B907 again and then running the bootloader unlock again (regardless of if I needed to or not) and then flashed the rom again. Step 1. Copy the LEWA rom zip and Gapps to your phone, then reboot in to recovery. 2. In TWRP; do an advanced wipe "cache, dalv, system, data" and then go to install and find the rom and install it. 3. reboot and make sure the rom loads all the way (do not bother setting up google account yet), once this happens reboot in to recovery again by holding power button and selecting reboot>recovery (inside of the rom this option is available), once you are there please install Gapps with TWRP, then reboot and enjoy.

If you look in the first post of my thread, you will see that MIUI is already listed but from a different download area and from a different author. If you scroll down you will actually find the file for Ascend Mate. I will tell you now though, the file name is the same as the P6 so I am assuming it is the same or they have used the P6 file and tweaked it. I am going to look at both files and give it a shot at running them today.

I have already given instructions on how to flash the file and I will post them again.
The first time I flashed this it would not pass the boot animation. I ended up flashing B907 again and then running the bootloader unlock again (regardless of if I needed to or not) and then flashed LEWA rom by extracting the files to a new folder and then running the Flash_All.bat from inside the folder. After the files have finished all I did was reboot and it worked this time. I then installed Gapps after being certain that the rom would load
So is it necessity to unlock boot loader...?

I have been asked by several people, on the forums and via PM. I thought that I would offer a step-by-step guide.
Will This Trip Knox? Yes, it will. Installing a custom recovery such as TWRP will definitely trip Knox. From what I have read installing a ROM, even through FlashFire, will trip Knox, as will flashing a kernel.
You Don't Seem To Care About Knox That is correct. To this point the only downside is that I won't be able to use Samsung Pay and I don't plan on that anyway. BUT.....if you do care and Knox matters, stop reading now and stick with stock.
I will also recommend that you grab ODIN and a stock TAR file for your phone. You can always find the latest firmware at SamMobile, but will need to create an account and free downloads are speed capped. It will be SLOOOOW. But you will get a zip with the file that you need inside. Good to have in case of accident. Here is where I got mine: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/47474/G920PVPU1AOE2_G920PSPT1AOE2_SPR/
That said.....assume that you have a rooted S6. Install TWRP Manager from the Play store, ignore anything it says about an SD card and click on "Install TWRP." The version that you are looking for is "zerofltespr.img." You can also download that from here https://twrp.me/devices/samsunggalaxys6sprint.html and use Flashfire to install. Reboot into recovery (see http://www.androidexplained.com/galaxy-s6-recovery-mode/ for an explanation) and make sure that TWRP is installed. If TWRP doesn't come up, make sure that you used the correct file and try again.) Now you are ready to begin.
1) The ROM that I used is the SAC23 ROM from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/spr...ment/sac23ram9200srintdeoxedmoddedv1-t3107342 Download that and copy to your phone. You should also grab the "Recent apps fix long press on home" zip file from the bottom of that post.
2) You will also NEED (!!!!!) a kernel that is designed for the S6, otherwise you will bork your phone. I use (and recommend) the Ktoonsez kernel located here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/spr...elopment/kernel-kt-sgs6-ocv-ktweaker-t3093009 Grab that and copy to your phone.
3) For fingerprint recognition and private mode, you will need the Aroma installer from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60112854&postcount=2 If you use the Aroma installer (and I don't so I have no experience) be sure that those are the only two things that you install.
UPDATE 7/1/2015 Just had a report that fingerprint is working with this kernel: http://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-galaxy-s6/development/kernel-kernel-t3146127
Anyone interested should read all posts for that kernel before flashing.
Once you have those files on your phone, you are ready to begin.
Return to recovery mode. Before you do anything else....Click on "Backup." Accept the default settings and let it do its thing. I always name my backups....calling this Stock is probably a good idea. Once that is done, if you break things, you can return to this.
Okay, now go to Wipe. The old-timers will disagree, but most of the time the default "Factory Reset" is all that you need. If you are paranoid (and who isn't?) after this you can go to Advanced and choose Dalvik Cache, Cache, Data and System. But I rarely do this anymore. Complete guide for using TWRP is here: http://www.androidtipsandhacks.com/root/twrp-the-complete-guide-to-using-recovery-on-android/
Now go back to the main screen and select Install. You can select multiple zips. Flash the ROM, the kernel and that Recent Apps zip file. Be sure to set the kernel to flash after the ROM. Or you can flash them one at a time.
Once done, reboot phone and if all went well, you will see a new boot animation. First boot will take a while, let her go.
You should have a clean build so remember that you will need to reset Developers options, security (for allow Unknown sources) and other stuff.
With the Ktoonsez kernel, you will have the KTweaker app, very useful. If it doesn't install for you (and it didn't for me) the APK is located inside the zip file that you downloaded at S6\KT-SGS6-LP5.0-TW-G920P-05.28.2015.zip\system\app\ Extract that and install. I use downloaded Profiles a lot.
If all is well, but the fingerprint and private mode settings are things that you use, go back into Recovery and select ONLY those two items. I'll state again, I don't use them, have never flashed the Aroma installer and can't offer any help. I have seen that they work for some people, not for others..../me shrugs. I can't help with that.
I also use the Wicked One Theme from @dazedandconfused who is a master. See http://forum.xda-developers.com/spr...ps/theme-wicked-one-theme-s6-s6-edge-t3129822 for the theme and instructions. Be sure to follow the instructions about having the Urban theme from the Theme Store installed first. But this theme makes me very happy.
That is everything that I know....which goes to show how little I know!
EDIT: Missed a step....DOH!.... if you are using TWRP you should flash the zip file found here to address the Deep Sleep issue: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60385577&postcount=56
Happy ROM-ing.

Here's a question. Hope do you use the stock battery icon on Sac's ROM and not one of those gross 3minit or whatever ones? They're all hideous.

I have to say that it is really popular mod, but not to my taste either. Here is what I run for battery:
GSam Battery Monitor (also lets you customize the battery icon, but I don't)
Greenify and Wakelock Detector
With Ktoonsez, I have the Ktweaker installed. Click on the 3 dots upper left. Scroll down to KTweaker Shop Profiles and then pick from Conservative, Balanced or Performance (or grab some of each.) I am using the Conservative Profile "Dead By April." I love that name!
Average Per Complete Charge (now this is with light usage) 2 days 0 hours, with screen on 1 hour 41 minutes.
Not expecting to get the same battery life when I am traveling or with heavy usage, but that is still pretty remarkable.

Hello, thank you for this great write-up! I PM'ed you the other day, and you helped me get my phone flashed and all.
However, I am still having issues with the Fingerprint scanner. If any other users do use the Fingerprint scanner, could you explain the steps in which you flashed each file? After using the Aroma installer to fix Fingerprint, I keep getting "Unfortunately, Fingerprint has stopped working." I just can't seem to get it working even with the Aroma installer. Maybe I am flashing files in the wrong order?
Thanks for any advice!

I have tried both. I first wiped system, data, cache, dalvik and tried that. Then, I tried dirty flash from stock, flashing the ROM, kernel, and fingerprint fix, then wiped caches, and nothing. :/
Could you start the aroma installer, and on the first slide it tells you the version. Could you tell me which version you have? Maybe we have different versions, that could be the problem.. Thank you!
Edit: I also tried the other debloated ROM you mentioned, but it did not work with nor without the Aroma installer. If anybody wants to work with me to get this working, I can provide logs and information and test out whatever is needed. Thanks!
Thank you for this write up...glad to learn there is dev'ing going on for the edge.
Was hoping you could help; tried flashing twrp via odin, per instructions--root manager shows that I have TWRP 2.x.x. installed but when I try to boot into recovery I just get this crazy bright white screen. Was able to reboot normally the first time, but then tried booting into recovery with flashify and now stock on that bright white screen. I do have success with getting connections with odin, twrp flashing successfully. But now trying to flash back to stock firmware to get my recovery back and I have mixed results. PLEASE any help would be very much appreciated...might have borked my brand new s6 edge...but hope not.
Thanks in advance.

First off. please edit your post to not include the entire Original Post. It is both bad form and makes it difficult to find your question.
The first thing that I would do if I were you is to make sure that I had a good download of the SAC23 ROM. That is most likely where your problem is. I will check my download later and post the MD5, but you should re-download.
I checked MD5 using WinMD5 Free (shouldn't matter, there are several MD5 checkers)and the MD5 should be 3bb8163e902769f564a2f3adb3a1b7e6. Try checking that.

Came here to say I had the same problem. The original ROM posted here was a Deodexed ROM, and the aroma tool posted was an odex version. There's an aroma installer for Deodexed Roms that works perfectly fine, just gotta use that. I'd post the link but I've been up all night and I have work in an hour lol. Is there any way to remove those ugly grey icon backgrounds?
Like in the first post, in the second screenshot, it can be seen that Titanium backup has a grey background
Similarly, pre-included apps like syncit has no background.
This difference of icons makes the phone look quite ugly.

-added Dolby Atmos™ on Settings

you need to install rom first, then update 1631.2, and tap "format dalvik&cache" when install ends.
after that reboot - and system works fine. only bluetooth can crush at the first boot.

Also, *I think* battery life has much improved ... but that may be because I wiped cache and also turned off Stamina mode after reading it sucks battery life rather than help it lol!
I did run into some battery level quirkiness within the first few days of install, but hoping it was just some learning curve the OS had to do w/ battery ... time will tell =)
I do have a question tho, just noticed you state the bootloader/recovery is "locked"? Does this overwrite my previous "unlocked" state and its relocked now? Or does an unlocked state persist? Thanks

No,this doesn't overwrite your unlocked bootloader. your unlocked state is persist. You can check by dialing *#*#7378423#*#* /Service info/Configuration/Rooting status:
Sad update, seems my phone has fallen victim to the "LP upgrade & damaged battery" coincidence =( ... I know its not a fault of ur ROM. Phone works fine from 100% to 50% then a 50% it rapidly drops to 1% and shuts off =/
That being said, ordered a replacement battery kit + back door + NFC tag. Hopefully normal battery functionality will be restored after its replaced =)
Seems to be a widespread problem =/ Its weird because I had LP 5.0.2 on it previously.
Battery replacement went well, back to full expected usage time!

Bro I have tried locked bootloader. But I think GenTarkin installed on unlocked bootloader successful. First you should flash stock.ftf and after go further as first post.
Dirty flash I love you dirty flash blahblahblah
Thanks for this, just what I needed without the hasle as Gen said I just flashed over the rom I was using (mx 8.5), wiped dalvik and that other thing but kept data and now my phones overheating has stopped, installed xposed and my tweaks reinstalled themselves... Because of the dirty flash some of the apps needed updating but apart from that its ask good... Nice one
Update Zip
Zip is updated with Xposed and SU 2.79

There is a problem with Facebook and Messenger app (normal, not lite versions). When my girlfriend is trying to run these apps the screen just is just blinking (black&white) every 0,5 of sec. and nothing else is happening. Reinstalling those apps does not solve the problem.
