[Q] Bricked or in fastboot? - Kindle Fire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey there.
I have just reverted my kindle fire to stock rom, but apparently forgot to wipe, cause it just kept on failing processes and rebooting.
In order to solve it, I tried using kindle fire utility to get it in fastboot mode. After this, it's stuck on the logo screen, without any animation and with backlight on. I cant figure out whether its actually in fastboot mode, or if its bricked?
I cant find it with neither unbrick utility, KFU or using dba.. What to do?
Thanks already!

Kindle fire stuck on CM9 loading screen

Hey guys, I am pretty new at anything Android related and am in serious need of some help after several hours of struggling to revive my fire. Basically I took my stock kindle and installed a permanent root for the first time ever with the KF utility, after which I proceeded to install the latest TWRP Recovery using the same utility. Upon reboot after TWRP install, I immediately wiped the Dalvik cache and attempted to install the latest gedeROM build (26-6-2012). It seemed to flash ok, but on startup now the kindle will show the standard kindle fire logo, followed by the cyanogen 9 mod loading screen, at which it will stay in the animation forever, and never actually load up. Unfortunately in my noobness I did not realize that installing TWRP was not all I needed to do in order to achieve the option to boot into recovery mode every time, and now I cannot figure out how to once again get to that so I can install a backup of my stock firmware, which I did make. Is there a way to get the kindle into recovery mode without the ability to select that option when starting up? If I plug the kindle into my pc whilst it's stuck on the CM9 animation, the ADB status says online and has a boot status of 4000. When I attempt to send any commands to the kindle from the KF utility telling it to reboot into recovery, it just says waiting for device. I'm sure I just missed an obvious step along the way of the install, but I cannot seem to do anything with the kindle currently, so any help on reviving it would be fantastic!

Use the factory cable to access fastboot
Use fastboot to wipe data
There is no fastboot. I plug it in and nothing happens. Just the Kindle boot screen.

It is stuck on the kindle fire splash screen? If so, is it brightly lit? If it is, then you are in fastboot.

[Q] Kindle Fire Won't Boot into Recovery

I've been trying to install TWRP and FFF for the past 2 days but I've had no luck whatsoever. I first started out on my Windows 8.1 64-Bit system and the drivers would not install. I moved to my XP SP3 PC and I was able to install the drivers and get the Kindle Fire recognized in KFU. I proceeded to installing TWRP and everything went smoothly until the reboot. It would say "waiting for device" and the Kindle would reboot, but it would get stuck at a "kindle fire" logo with no animation. I've also tried installing FFF first and just plain rooting the device on stock ROM - but nothing works. It always reboots and gets stuck at "kindle fire" no animation. I've tried countless "solutions" to my problem and I'm half tempted just to use ADB to do it. Summary- TWRP "installed" but will not boot into fastboot or recovery. Please, any help is greatly appreciated.

Yes, everything downloaded just fine. The problem is when I reboot the Kindle. Nothing happens but the Kindle Fire logo with no animation.

The Kindle will NOT reboot into recovery or fastboot. It only wants to boot into normal mode. I don't really want to do a factory cable. If that's what it takes to install TWRP & FFF on the Kindle I'm fine not rooting and putting that stuff on.

Do you get a yellow triangle briefly before it boots up? If so, you have to hold the power button until it changes color from green to orange before it boots into recovery. At least that's how it works with my Kindle.

I don't get a yellow triangle. It try to reboot in recovery after I install FFF and TWRP but doesn't do anything after I reboot- just sits at a "kindle fire" logo with no animation.

I never had FFF installed on the Fire, I was trying to install it and TWRP for the first time. KFU says it is downloading the latest files but should I download the latest version of FFF from FFF's website and install that version instead of KFU's version? The device will not boot into recovery or into the bootloader when KFU tells it to.
