Woot something new to flash ☺ I'm assuming it's a d2lte?
Thanks for starting a thread here, been a big fan of Quantum kernel since finding it on the AT&T forums a few weeks ago. Keep up the good work!
Knew about this great kernel but didn't know you had a Quantum ROM as well (and based on the best, SlimKat!). Thanks for putting this in the Sprint thread as well.
It's all d2lte but there's also some fixes in there to make sprint LTE work. Enjoy it!

Bah for some reason, I can never flash this and go back to another kernel like LeanKernel. I just flashed this and noticed it doesn't have interactiveX built in (at least not according to Trickster Mod), so I reflashed Lean Kernel and while it doesn't boot loop, I get tons of system process FCs at startup yielding the phone pretty much useless until I flash Quantum again. Any reason that is? I've usually gone between different kernels like stock, Lean, and BMS without any issues.
Anyway, going to test drive Quantum for a bit with the smartmax / row combo.
Thread cleaned. Linking to banned members work is against the rules, please refrain from further posts of this kind.
Thanks.

Is this sprint d2lte any different than the one released on at&t forum? I'm on boost using at&t release and signal isn't great. Would you recommend I try flashing this one? I will eventually when I get a chance. I'm on L710

Flashed the rom but lost root. Restored my backed up rom.
Just installed and enabled root for apps and adb, but root is broke. I can't get titanium to work as it can't get root permissions. Joey Kim's root checker says its not, and if I keep checking it then says it is, but can't get root in titanium. This was a very clean install. Any ideas?

This kernel is working great for me on Stock Jellybean 4.1.1 rooted and running MA6 Modem/Radio update
I was running AGAT 0.3.3 and then tried this one - very smooth and no issues so far - can't tell battery life yet
I couldn't get KToonsez kernel working on my phone - not sure why but Deviant seems to be very nice so far!
--------------------------
Edit: Ok yeah, I do see how when you turn the phone to the right or left (sideways) the display is upside down.
Sprint phone (not Verizon) so that might be the issue - only one I've seen. I usually use the phone upright anyway so not a big deal to me.
THIS PROJECT IS NO LONGER ACTIVE

This is a clone of my well-established non-LVM kernel but it has been turned to the Dark Side of mainstream partitoning!
It should work on all Android 4.2 ROMs that use the LVM (Logical Volume Manager) partition method, like Official CM 10.1
All kernel features (with the exception of RAM size - note below) can be activated/adjusted using NSTools
Changelog 08/05:
Code:
+ FINAL RELEASE
+ Linux 3.0.76

+ USB OTG Support
Downloads:
KERNEL FOR RECOVERY
KERNEL FOR ODIN/HEIMDALL
KERNEL MIRROR

Fishears Kernel customisations:
Kernel 3.0.76
Ultra Kernel Samepage Merging
Live OC
Overclock @ 1400, 1300, 1200, 1100
Aroma Filemanager (1.80) in Recovery
Kernel compiled with Linaro 4.7-2013.03 + O3 optimization
RAM Size selectable through sysfs (see note below). 383mb (default), 396mb (bigmem), 409mb (hugemem - breaks 720p video recording so set camera to 480p before reboot)
Media libs automatically patched at reboot when RAM Size changes
720p recording option removed from camera settings in hugemem mode (thanks Kagadar)
CPU unaligned accesses enabled
LowMemoryKiller Whitelist support
[*} USB OTG Host Support

ROW I/O Scheduler
BFQ I/O Scheduler
ZEN I/O Scheduler
FIFO I/O Scheduler
tuned CFQ Scheduler
LOAD_FREQ (4*HZ+61) avoids loadavg moire
Logger from 3.4
Neon VFP enabled
Lowmemorykiller from 3.5
Time gpio from 3.4
Battery indicator in Recovery
Clear NSTools settings from Recovery
Clear init.d from Recovery
Touch key control in Recovery (Menu=up, Back=down)
Repeat on keys for up/down in Recovery
RAM Selection:
the RAM selection values are:
0 for default
1 for 396mb
2 for 408mb
To change the current setting you need to change the value stored in /sys/kernel/bigmem/enable

I have a question that its not really related to this kernel but I hope that someone can help me, so my phone can handle 1200mhz with 1300mV / 1125mV set in 1200mhz step, and can run at 110% live oc with stock voltage. If I want to run 110% live oc with 1100mhz normal OC to reach 1210mhz where should I set the 1300mV / 1125mV in the 1200mhz step or 1100mhz step, I really dont know

To 1100MHz step, cause live oc makes 1100 -> 1210.

Installed fine with darthstaker rom wifi seems to be working great as well. Thanks for the kernel. Looking forward to a rom son too hopefully .
Edit: it seems that using an app like trickster mod to put the max cpu at say 1.3ghz only caps cpu 1. Cpu2,3,4 still go to 2.5ghz. Anyone else have this problem?
Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk
For uv do we need trickster mod, or should setcpu work?

Trickster will flash right in along with the kernel. One of the best apps for kernel control available IMO

I usually try to stick with what the Dev uses, in this case I'm fairly certain it's Trickster, but to each his own.. Let us know either way you go what kind of results you're getting..

so i assume we need to wipe cache and dalvik correct? thats what i always did for kernels.
So much smoother, the responsiveness is better, not just blowing smoke. My floating toucher app is actually working flawlessly now, it would be unresponsive to my first touch half the time, now no issues .. I'm pretty happy already and I haven't done any tweaking.. So happy you're working on this device

When i load up tickster it shows everything from 576mhz and lower at 775. This is the default that loads for me? is it going to that or is it only really at 800.

It is that low, but if you go to change them, they will default to 800. I will have a fresh one up in maybe an hour

First thanks for the new roms ,downloading both versions and do both roms include the kernel already baked in the roms? Sorry if it's a dumb question. I see allot of changes in the change log, can't wait to try this, thanks again

This rom and kernel are sick,no camera crash,no random reboots...I've tried to crash it, but gave up and just rebooted to undo all the crap i was doing to it. Really nice work. The only thing I miss from my previous unmentionable rom is usb mass storage.
Oh and yeah, T999L
Okay well i may be missing it totally but clock to center. More battery icons its really just boring there are a few that look great like the racing one du has.
So far great rom. Running art. Games run nicely no lag like carbon was giving me
Edit: no reboot menu?
It seems alot of roms lack add on features that others use and not only add ons like that but customization is lacking in every rom they all look the same no real differences between them :/

lot of camera issues.... instagram finally works with video, but after sending pix messages from inside MMS app (going to attach, camera, and take the pic) the next time you use camera it errors out with "cannot connect to camera"
