Morning all
I'm using blade with the all in one tweeks and I'd like the option to change fonts.
There is a section in the tweeks but it doesn't seem to change the text.
Is there an app that's worth using for this?

I use the Font Installer ★ Root ★ app from the play store. Seems to be working fine for me. Make a backup first because my friend got a boot loop after using that app. It never happened to me though
Check the HTC ONE (M7) forum. It has a font thread in the themes and apps section and holds many fonts as a flashable zip. They work fine

ive been lookin at changing my fonts this past week as well..... typefresh app works great.. just find the font and good font.ttf and find the .ttf file. then move to the sd card. open app and replace droidsans.ttf and clocktopia.ttf etc.. yeah ive noticed the fonts in the 300+ font threads don't work.. currenty on a search for easy flashable fonts.. easiest way i thnk\prefer...
There's the an app that I have, I think it's callled 'font selector' or something like that. It's in the market and free from what I remember. You should try it. The font list is updated really often too.
I tried that one. It sucks. The font packs don't look right in terms of formatting. I removed that app quick
From my permarooted overclocked HTC G2 with cyanogen 7 nightly via XDA app
Most fonts I find don't have all the symbols so I get alot of boxes. :/

Unless you know how to edit images, then your only option is to flash a theme for 4.1. Look in the market for a font changer. There is one by a guy named jrummy that has alot of fonts and is pretty simple to use.
Thanks bro! Helped out alot

I can't help with the messaging app, but all roms are in the dev sections.
gosms app is what I'm using till i find something better. It's 3rd party, but free & customizable if you've got the patience for a little trial & error. I'm still hoping to find a transparent stock mod soon myself, but i just started looking recently.

I'm not aware of any modded stock messaging app that is transparent (but there's a lot I don't know!), but could you help me understand what you'd want?
You say you want a "transparent background" messaging app. Is that one where, when it is open, you see the home screen underneath the text bubbles? Or just the wallpaper? Or would it see any previously opened app? I don't know enough about modding apks to do anything about it, but if you could clarify what you're looking for, it'd help give people more solid ideas on what to develop.
I will tell my team about the transparent background and I'll see what we can do . amiblindyet me and misty I will update you in the morning to see what we can do!!

I mean I could open app>settings>background & pick gallery & use the same pic I have for my wallpaper & it looks trans until threads & conversation bubbles totally block the wallpaper.

So you want the background and bubbles to be transparent... I would assume that you want the background 100% transparent and the bubbles something like 70-80% transparent.
I'm ignorant on this, but I've heard that you can decompile an apk and replace the assets in /res folder. I'm not sure if it's possible with these items, but that would be the place to start.

And yes background 100% (in case I ever go back to a live wallpaper) & since I have a black area & white area on the wallpaper(both horizontal) maybe some holo blue for text so my text won't vanish when I scroll up & down. kinda like tvshow faves trans widget text color. Ive noticed that blue looks good w/my wallpaper. Bubbles maybe 90%. trans. I'd better quit while I'm ahead. Thank you for your time, consideration & efforts.

I am using the PAC ROM on my HTC DESIRE HD. can anyone tell me how to change the app label color on the home screen on the default PAC ROM launcher? I don't want to install other launchers like GO

Try asking in the Desire HD Pac Rom thread. This is the Desire (Bravo) section. You will probably get more answers there.

As above, in future make sure you post in the correct device threads.
However, this problem is more of a launcher issue rather than device. I believe you'd have to:
- Extract the launcher apk from the rom.zip
- Decompile the launcher apk
- Find the bit which defines the app label colour, change it to your liking
- Then recompile the apk, put it back into the rom.zip
A bit of a hassle, much easier by just installing a custom launcher which supports custom app label colour...find one which is closest to the PAC ROM launcher.
thank you

Hi.
I'm using a Jelly Bean ROM (which comes with Trebuchet 1.0 as the launcher) and I've set up a "multi-page" Dock. I'd like to have the App Drawer icon appear on each of the Dock's pages, but I can't find how to add the "App Drawer" to the Dock at all. I can't even work out how to manually add the "App Drawer" to the Homescreen (if I could do that, I'd be able to drag it down to the Dock as desired) - whenever I long click on the Homescreen, my only option is to change the Wallpaper.
Is there a way to do this? Many thanks,
Jaime
Weird. I thought I could figure this out, but you are indeed right. There doesn't seem to be a way to add it.
My only suggestion would be to use a better launcher like Nova or Apex. They will allow you to do this as well as give you a lot more control.
