KitKat auto call answer on bluetooth? - Galaxy Ace II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have recently installed KitKat (from TeamCanjica) on my Ace 2.
Now I can't find option in the dialer to automatically answer call after given number of rings.
Has it been removed by Google in KitKat?

Google Voice MIUI

I can't seem to make phonecalls with voice. No option to call outbound seems to be available. However incoming calls seem to work.
Also noticed it doesn't display the special call screen that voice uses.
Has anyone for this to work with miui 1.9.9 with tiamat kernel?
Thanks bros

Same here. Whether i choose google voice for all calls, or to ask on every call, it still comes through with my regular cell number. MIUI 1.9.16, Tiamat 1.1.2 kernel.
Don't you need the old version of google voice for all that to work? I thought they removed that feature due to people using it for free minutes. I still run the old version if anyone wants it

Figured it out guys. Disable 'third party access' under system>calls

They did not remove that feature, they just fixed the way people were making free calls using the top 10 free callers on verizon and such. Also you can still make free calls if you set up a sip. Otherwise you are only hurting yourself running and older version

Not really. The new version runs much slower on my phone than the old one. It takes sometimes over 5 seconds for the app to open on my phone with the new version where the old one is instant for me. Also on the new one if i'm receiving a msg as i'm sending one, my sent msg will hang until I FC voice.
If you like the new one that's fine. I'll stick with my version until the new one works right for me.

Thanks a lot! That make Google Voice work for me in MIUI.
It's not under system though, it's Application > Call Settings
Then turn off "Third Part Access".
Thanks again

Add a phone to Blacklist

Hi guys,,
I like to add a number to Blacklist...
Could somebody help me out for that..
Cheers!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Which ROM are you on?
Swype'ed on my CM10 Galaxy Nexus
You must add the number to contacts, then select all calls to voicemail.

Or use Root Call Blocker, it works well on the Nexus.
This "add number to blacklist" was available in the older CM's (7 and previous) but I haven't seen it on any of newer Roms, not even on the CM's.
Any call blocker software from play store does the job but having it integrated into the ROM was a good feature

The Mr number app works well for me.

[Q] Galaxy Note II and Google Voice

I am currently using Google voice for all my calls on the Galaxy Note 2. Whenever I make or receive a voice call via my GV number, my phone goes to deep sleep and I am unable to wake it up by using the home/power buttons, so I can hang-up the call. The only way for it to wake-up is for the other person to hang-up 1st...Pretty annoying.
When a call is via my NON-verizon number, this does not occur. Any suggestions?
I have to US Cellular Galaxy Note 2 and I do not have this problem when using Google Voice to make calls.

I think it does but it changes my number when I make the call from my cell number to the Google Voice number. I never give out my actual cell phone number I always use my GV number because I can use it on multiple devices.

[Q] caller ID name display problem

I have a T989D from Kodooo with AOKP mr1 installed latest release I think it is June8/9
When someone calls I can see the phone number and name of person, but when I go into the call log only the phone number is displayed.
Is there a way to fix this bug and have the name show up as well.
I first installed the AOKP mr1 rom in april and everything worked smoothly. The name feature stopped showing up on the old rom so I upgrated to the lastest release with no luck.
Any help please?
It looks like cyanogenmod have removed the feature on their newer roms. The problem relies on a call notification function. I am able to see the caller id but as soon as call log is opened the name disappears and the number is saved. I need the name to be saved as well. Just like it was on older roms.
Anyone can help please?
