* Synced with upstream as of time of compile.
* Cherry-picked the new dialer skin from gerrit (looks nice)
Jan-3
* Made an "official" build of last nights nightly as it seemed exceptionally fast
* Not that many visual changes since the last build just clean up of code, etc
Jan-1
* Setup a build bot. builds are automatically compiled at 10am est everyday. a repo sync and merge with upstream cm is done prior to each build. These ROMs are of course unofficial both in the eyes of the CM team and myself. Only builds linked to in the the OP are going to be supported by me. But if all goes well the unofficial nightlies should run just the same. just updated. Check below for link.
Dec-24
* Merged with CM as of time of compile
* Kernel updated to Linux 3.4.75
* Cherry-picked commit to enable more mobile network selection options
Dec-14
* Sorry for the long delay. Had a lot of hardware issues with my media server. Lost 1.3TB of data in the process, anyways
* Too tired to think of all the little things. Pretty much a nightly of CM with my kernel etc for speed

* circle battery icon as well as percentage is back.
* Status bar tweaks
* A lot of updates to the kernel including new gpu drivers
* Updates to the launcher like allowing you to choose which is your default home screen

Nov-29
* micro-skipping with FLAC audio is now fixed!
* Fixed freezing with camera from last build
* No longer using a hack to fix the sensors
* A decent amount of other under-the-hood changes i can't think of off the top of my head right now.
Nov-24
* Quicksettings / Ribbions was offically merged along with a lot of other cm stuff
* New cm boot animation
* All the camera stuff from cm-10.2 has been merged back in (ZSL support etc)
* Netfilx should work correctly now
* audio source was rebased (upstream)
* Merged all upstream kernel changes
* Just a lot of updates in general
* Added GooManager update notification support
Nov-18
* Fixed some GPS issues
* Fixed incorrect battery stats (upstream)
* Cherry-pick: A few misc audio fixes to try and fix skipping playback of flac audio
* Cherry-pick: Superuser while using ART should be fixed now
* Cherry-pick: av : squashed update of changes from CAF
* Cherry-pick: Lockscreen : Customizable shortcuts
* Cherry-pick: QuickSettings : Port from cm-10.2 (WIP)
* Cherry-pick: QuickSettings : Swipe to switch

* Cherry-pick: Framework : Make notification-shade-collapse-after-dismiss behaviour configurable
* Cherry-pick: QuickSettings: Update all QS drawables to fit KitKat
* Kernel: msm: vidc: Initialize kernel space stack variables (upstream)
* Any other upstream changes since the last build
NOTE: all changes labeled "Cherry-Pick" are patches from gerrit
Nov-15
* Fixed DL linkx (my build server is no more if anyone somehow has access to one for work or something it would and wants to share PM me. I lost my other one due to lack of funds...
* IR Blaster works
* Other things i cant remember due to the whole server mess
Nov-14
* sdcard issues should be fully fixed now
* Fixed proximity sensor
* Upstream updates by CM
* I feel like I'm forgetting a couple other things as well
Nov-13
* Fixed odd issues with sdcard mounting
* Build optimizations that got removed during the 4.4 merge are back now
* A whole bunch of updates by cm to frameworks, as well as media and display drivers
* Lots of bluetooth updates, and more that I'm forgetting, but a lot of bugs you guys mentioned were squashed
Nov-11
* Fixed Camera
* Fixed Home button not bringing up recent apps
* Upstream: display-caf repo synced with CAF
* Upstream: media-caf repo synced with CAF

* Cherry-Pick: Dialer: Update icons to KitKat
* Cherry-Pick: Telephony: Update icons to KitKat

Just installed the 4-28 nightly and the camera is working again.

issues
..

Can someone please add a picture from the new dialer from the newest release,? Thanks in advance
Gesendet von meinem GT-I9505 mit Tapatalk

I've had the camera problem on one of the nightlies a couple of days ago. Also I've experienced a random reboot problem when just normally using my phone. I also noticed that when I play a video like on YouTube sometimes it'll make this loud weird noise.

cam
camera is broken on download in first post and latest nightly 0515
my phone just stays black for 30 sec and the reboots
hoping for a fix
after flashing rom shown in op, i restored my back up ( i have 2 separate ones i tried) and apps that use memory dont work like snapchat whisper and problems moving anything to or from the computer and phone
internet has screwed up as well i believe but i need to check that out to be sure
ive even done all the wipes and super wipe tp try and fix it

mhl/hdmi does not work right?

Well... I had CM10 from AlbinoMan on my Sensation and loved it, thought I would try this out. I saw some people with issues with their camera on newer nightlies, so I flashed the last used by the dev. No go, the camera doesn't work on this version either and my phone has cycled twice and completely just locked up in the first 5 minutes on the ROM. It took me a while trying to figure out what ROM to choose, is this one still active? I'd really like to try to get the camera working rather than switching right away. Anyone have any fixes for it? I'm going to try a few other nightlies, but it doesn't sound like its been fixed.
Edit: Tried a few other nightlies and none of them were stable, so I went to the official CM11. If this ends up getting updated/fixed I'll check it out then. :/

I see there is a new build up I might have to give it a try..

Hey there, here is a CM-10.1 KANG, Device tree is based off of Evervolv's (thanks so much) Other then that and some patches to framework to get camera going its all CM. I also included a modified kernel. Kernel is also based off of Evervolv's with some changes. Mainly I undervolted the lower cpu freqs. by ~25mV up until 1200 Mhtz, after that freq all voltages are the same as Evervolv's. I also added some more governors. Lazy, Smartassv2, lagfree, and interactiveX. Ondemand is default. I will be updating this ROM on a regular basis. Check below for source code and more details. As always: remember it takes a FULL charge from AC, and a full discharge then re charge batteryt to be accurate. Also leave it plugged in for up to an hour at 100%, Another thing i find helps battery life is to make custom auto-adjustment values if you use auto-brightness. Check below for full changelog Feedback always welcome Please read the Kernel section for more info and full config options for the kernel.

Notes
* As of Feb-19 CyanognMod changed the way the reboot menu works. To enable the "Advanced Reboot" menu with recovery and bootloader go to Settings>Developer Options and Check Advanced Reboot
* As of AOSP 4.2.2 ADB now has a whitelist feature. On first connect with adb it will say device offline You need to update your ADB then with the phone connected. Disable and Re-Enable Android Debugging in the Developer Options menu. It will ask if you want to accept and show the PC's RSA key. Select Yes and it will now work as expected
* As of AOSP 4.2.1 Developer Options and Performance setting menu options are hidden until you go into about phone and tap build number repeatedly (aprox. 6 times) this only needs to be done once
* If you are coming from another ROM i highly recommend you perform and Wipe Date/Factory Reset in recovery menu when applying this ROM.
* The gapps linked to does not have photosphere. As far as i know it's not supposed to. If you want photophere search for the flashable zip
* If you can't get MMS to work. Send yourself a MMS. or just wait a day. eventually they will work again

Yeah pretty much. I might skip a couple days if there arent really any changes (a lot of times they are just translation updates) but for the most part yes

i realize that you probably don't have much time, so it's fine that you mostly copied and pasted from the sensation ROM page. i just want to make sure that what's stated in the OP is what's actually going on with the kernel and such. regardless, thanks for making this ROM!
---------- Post added at 05:23 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:21 PM ----------
especially with the reboots that a lot of the other ROMs seem to be facing...i'm sure once it gets fixed on one, it'll carry over to all of them

OK, good to know this is a bug. i wasn't sure if the glacier could do 720p/1080p video. its not my primary device. Is it just 720p it can do or 1080p as well. (you would think only 720p)

difference is mine is ported this is compiled, i will probably take my cm10.1 port thread and turn it into an aosp thread.
Trying this ROM:
1. Trackpad wake zip from PACman_GLACIER WORKS! (link:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1933896)
2. Settings -> security doesn't FC. which FCs in another CM10.1 ROM
3. Dev settings is hidden by default. To enable it, go to Settings -> About phone, then tap the bottom section (where it shows Build number) 7 times.
4. Antutu benchmark is pretty much the same as another CM10.1 ROM

Give the logcat of the camera, I have dealt with all kinds of camera errors, I know what commits to use to fix it by now xd.
And I believe IRDA is being replaced by the new internal IR module in frameworks/base. but this may be incorrect.
I do not think this is original development..
Add another issue on the list:
- Long-Press Home Button does not open Multi-Tasking.
Pleas fix the camera have waited for this so long ^^

Nice
Boots very fast. Has lots of custom tweaks I'll probably never use, and standard CyanogenMod settings like brightness slider and quick settings ribbon on status/notification pane were difficult to locate.
Gravity Box causes navigation panel (tablet mode) to turn-on and must deselect each boot.
First off, gravity box isn't compatible with anything except AOSP.

Gravity Box is working good but for the in-persistent nav bar setting. After removing Gravity Box, it's disabled by default.
No soft reboot on the power menu. Could install Xposed APM+.
Xposed Additions enables global rotation for almost all apps including desktop, dialer, etc. but commandeers or negates the Carbon settings and you then have to manually setup in Xposed Additions.
Don't like the screen wake while in pocket setting? You can disable the hardware home key while screen is off by editing /system/usr/keylayout/7x27a_kp.kl (text file). Just need to have root write privileges turned on in file manager.
App Ops is missing some of the crucial privlidges of boot and network. Xposed/DonkyGuard and/or Cydia Substrate may enable these. Xposed BootManager only handles limited user apps, so I end up freezing more system apps than should be necessary.
-fixed- bluetooth music skipping bug
Used bluetooth for the first time with this ROM and experienced the familiar, songs incessantly skipping.
Fixed by editing init.lge.target.sh file in /system/etc/. Good practice is to create a backup of the file before opening with a text edit app.
Look for "case$device in
"e610"..."
Change "setprop lpa.decode true" to "setprop lpa.decode false" (without "")
Save text file (no file extension), hard reboot. I tried a soft reboot the first time and didn't take, so I powered it off and manually cold booted before bluetooth music worked correctly.
Aside: I realize that I've been using soft reboot too often and a couple of other things finally fixed themselves after powering down phone and cold booting (was having MTP connection issues due to bad BusyBox install).

FLASHING INSTRUCTIONS - the way I do it

2. Format data (if you are encrypted. If you are not encrypted, this is not necessary)
3. Reboot to bootloader and boot TWRP again
4. Flash ROM
5. Change slot
6. Flash gapps
7. Reboot system
UPDATING INSTRUCTIONS - the way I do it

I'm not sure how to take updates on encrypted devices, but that isn't a problem for now

I would like to offer a special thanks to a bunch of people who've been with me through this ridiculous journey of mine:
@Sahil_Sonar - for all the help and advice he's given
@krushndayshmookh - for being a generally sweet guy and looking out for me
@CarbonGTR and @Nikhilkumar038 - for being solid friends and motivators throughout my struggle
@Catharsis007 - for being best boi
@ArcherTanu - for being extremely helpful
@Raghu varma, @theimpulson, and @npjohnson for their work on the LineageOS trees
and a special unnamed best friend who helped me power through the last couple of months.
Sure, I have abandoned my own trees for the time being, but I've learned a lot in this journey. I hope I can respond to the community's needs and requests efficiently and give back to a community that has given me so many memorable moments
Cheers,
Sid

hm yeah, suddenly faced the same issue too... I could release a patched build OR give you the patches to apply them yourself, what would you like?

oh thank you, if there is a patch it's great, let everyone use the best rom together, thank you for your work
I'm aware of the BT Audio bug that has surfaced again, but for some reason my build environment isn't including the commit in the build. I don't have enough time these days to spend on building over and over and testing the builds to see if the patch has been included, and so, I'm instructing on how to apply the patch yourself.
Simply download the file attached on this post and place it in /vendor/etc/
Also delete /vendor/etc/audio/audio_policy_configuration.xml
Cheers,
Sid
