My mobile phone is Samsung GALAXY GRAND Neo+ I9082C, installed android 4.2.2.
I executed the Root Process by referring i9082 tutorial. When I pressed voice(+) & home & power button to restart the device, I got a odd prompt, see attachments.
I made the root process again, It remained the case.
How to solve it ? Thanks.

Okay so I rooted the GT-S7560 or the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 X using the Duos method mentioned in this thread. This phone is showing up everywhere in Canada right now through the usual channels and I wanted to clarify the process a bit for others who stumble upon this thread. I have attached a zip file containing the files I used and a word doc with instructions. It's the same as the Galaxy Duos except for entering recovery I could not figure out the button configuration to do it so I used ADB and sent the reboot recovery command. I later learned the vol button is a rocker and to press the center of the vol button the power and home all at the same time to enter recovery.
I seek no credit, just trying to make it easier for the next.
I have tested root on a couple of apps and everything seems to working great with no issues.

Hi, just a quick question.
Firstly, my extreme paranoia is the main reason I've posted this question. I have a Samsung I9190 Galaxy S4 mini, and I followed the rooting procedure by Arco: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2398143 and at step 7, I wasn't fast enough to press the buttons and the phone started up to the homescreen, so I switched the phone off and went into recovery mode (Volume up + Home + Power buttons) and carried on with the steps from there. Everything seems to have worked and my phone is now rooted and working fine, but as I said, I'm very paranoid :silly: so I just want to know if I need to worry about not doing step 7 properly, since it seems to be an important step. This is the first time I've rooted a phone btw.
Thanks!

[Q] Samsung Galaxy tab S "Not for sale" version with "retail mode" app, problem!
this may seem strange, but I have a Samsung galaxy tab S, demo version, with a "NOT FOR SALE" text hacked on the back, it has a "retail mode" app on it (even after factory reset) so I can't remove it, is it possible to install a (stock) ROM on this tablet?
I would imagine installing a stock firmware with odin should do the trick
same here, i flashed with stock firmware and it works no more ldu
Thanks for your response,
the devise's model is " SAMSUNG SM-T800X " and i can't find a thread on xda for a ROM for this version!
flash with t800 rom dude .
is this (ThunderRom800 ) ok? I want a easy to install ROM.

yes but u need a custom recovery : http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...recovery-twrp-2-7-1-0-touch-recovery-t2817100 then u can flash custom rom
everything ok for now, sorry!
I rooted the device (with Odin), then installed the latest TWRP successfully, then went to boot menu and noticed TWRP's touch interface in scrambled (where i tap the screen isn't where it get clicked on screen, it was kindda on random places) and it filled half the screen, so for a long time I tried to tap randomly on screen and finally I could wipe the first 4 check-boxes, then i guess the battery charge went out, so after successfully wiping the device it got shut down.
now I can't go to TWRP boot menu, but I can go to other boot menu (home button + vol up + power ) , and i can't turn the damn thing off! so what should i do?

Should but make sure your battery is at at least 80% before starting......battery dying while flashing is not good and can lead to bricked device.

What I've done wrong?
Warm greetings to you all friends,
So far one week ago i bought a Samsung galaxy S3 i9300 SGH-1747 (AT&T Vietnam) from my big friend. As you know on smartphones you need to reset if you are a new user. I made a factory data reset by pressing all the buttons procedure. I wiped the phone and it rebooted. But since i reseted the phone, It started switching off its self after like every 4 minutes it sets off. It showed me this message “The device has detected an application attempting to perform actions that are not permitted, Reboot now or reboot later" even if press restart nothing changes it brings it back again. So my friend requested me that he can fix that by changing the rom.
After he has erased the phone, and connects it to odin if failed to upgrade, immediately after pressing start it fails. He has downloaded almost the roms of it type but again they fail in odin software. It cannot connect to kies software. Now it just blinks "Samsung" logo on the screen after a second and it goes off. Please kindly advise me, what can we do? I love that phone because there very expensive here. Help me please what can we do?

Hello, and thank you for using XDA Assist!
You may need a download mode jig at this point.
At any rate, I am connecting this thread to the forum your device experts can be found:
> AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III > AT&T Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Please note, in order to respond to replies, you will need to register for an XDA account.
Hope this helps, and good luck!

The i9300 and the i747 are different phones and any ROM or custom recovery suitable for one could hardbrick the other.
Could you power off the device, remove the back cover, and then check under the battery to verify the model?
I checked it and the model is that one.

The i747 makes things a bit more limited in things we could do to correct this. The last full official ROM released by AT&T was the 4.1.1 release. If your phone had a newer bootloader and modem on it than that for 4.1.1 or the 4.1.2 partial release, then the 4.1.1 release is not safe for you to use.
Do you know, or can you get, information about what it was your friend tried to flash?
Can he tell you what bootloader and modem were on your phone before he flashed anything?
Boot into download mode (Odin mode) and report back with all of the small text at the top of the screen. If there is a line about "warranty bit" that would indicate you to be on at least the 4.3 bootloader.
I expect the solution will using a debrick image on an external sdcard, booting from it,, swapping cards, determining the correct bootloader and modem, flashing them, flashing a custom recovery, and finally flashing a rom. Here is a thread about using a debrick image, it has links to where he obtained his info.
