Anybody else using omni ROM (official nightlies) and getting a fast battery drain?
I'm losing around 15%-20% an hour on light use..
Actually, just while typing this, it just went down 2%[emoji50]
However, CM11 Had awesome batter life, but I wasn't getting any notifications..
Anyways, just wanted to know if anyone else is having this issue..

I'm running it fine. Try downloading better battery stats and check to see what's using up your battery

played temple run and browsing.. made few calls as well.. is this good battery life??
That's pretty good.
My normal is AOKP M6 with Jame Bond 3.1.9.9 kernel.
Although I'm thinking I'm sticking to the AOKP JB nightlies now. Just using Jame Bond 3.4 kernel now.

please guys.. post your battery stats. it will be really helpful to a lot of people to choose roms as we give a lot of preference to battery life.. thanks

That is actually pretty good. It also seems like you play games and that drains the battery pretty quick, especially since is using the GPU much more than in regular use.
I could have never ever achieve this kind of battery with my HTC Sensation even when running CM9.
Here is mine. Using stock but rooted JB and stock kernel.
Used for browsing a lot, Twitter, Facebook, Texting and YouTube videos.

Hi! I'll be going abroad in a couple of days and while I have tested most JB roms I'm not sure which rom has the best battery life. I'm currently using Rasbeanjelly and Trinity Stable 35 and I only got 3hrs of screen on yesterday (however I did have 3G enabled most of the time). Can anyone please suggest the best ROM for battery life ?
Thanks

Hey so I recently tried cyanogenmod 10 nightly for T-Mobile. It is such a beautiful rom. But after I watch like an episode of my Korean drama I lose like 30%!!! Its to crazy.. I was wondering if any of you guys could recommend a nice/cool rom with an excellent battery life comment !

It doesnt always depend on rom it depends also of ur settings and usage..

Those Korean dramas can be so damn enthralling. I'm ashamed to confess that I had neglect my family for weeks on end watch that crap.
As for better battery life, you'll have to try one of the many TouchWiz Roms. CM10 is still in beta hence horrible battery life. Try turning off unnecessary syncing and decrease screen brightness for improved battery life.
My settings such as WiFi is always off. I don't really know what else to turn off. I also turn GPS off.

Take a look at wickedV6 this rom is extremely fast and stable and battery life is amazing.

FrostyICS has my vote. V1 in particular. (V2 was a bit less battery friendly for me, and i have yet to try V3)
So far today I am at 13 hrs, 4 hrs of playing music (local not streaming), 2hrs screen on, and currently w/ 34% left with default sync settings. Of course YMMV as all phones behave differently.
You should do good with pretty much any Touchwiz based ICS rom. They are all good and each have their own strengths. Just check the features of each OP and try the one that sounds more like your ideal rom. Also read the last few pages to see if there are any current issues which are dealbreakers for you.
You really can't go wrong with any of them!

I am currently running Paranoid Android 2.16 with lean kernel and those 2 together have RIDICULOUSLY good battery life. It died after 39hrs of light use yesterday. Standby is almost like it doesn't use any juice at all. About to upgrade to PA 2.5 now

So I rooted my cousins toro and put the xylon nightly on it. He said now that he's getting some pretty bad battery life. As he is not a flasher or a rooter he needs an extremely stable, fast, and battery saving ROM. As you can tell from my SIG I do not have this awesome phone so therefore my knowledge is limited. Any advice is appreciated

Is this good battery life? I guess I'm just paranoid because of the Android system usage. Any tips for getting rid of that?
By the way.. I'm using SavvyRom 5.1 with Kite S3 kernel for 4.1.2.

That seems to be wakelocks, maybe. Use betterbatterystats then google the wakelocks that appear on top of the list on kernel wakelocks. If u dont wanna change roms that is..
But that battery life isnt bad either..

Like was said before it's recommend to install betterbatterystats and greenify to manage your app wakelocks.

hi guys!
which rom has best battery performance?
now im using mahdi rom but IS there any better rom?

Why don't you try other roms and see for yourself? No one can answer this question for you. Its all about how you use your tablet. One rom for one person can be the best, but for others it isn't.

I have been testing ROM's for the Gpad and when it comes to battery life there is not much difference. The Gpad just doesn't have the best battery lifeā¦ especially compared to my two Nexus 7's. The Nexus averages about 9-10 hours of screen on time compared to the Gpad 6-7 hours. Under clocking the cpu helps a little.
