Gallery from CM

Hello, wanna share this version of Gallery3D which is not the lousy Samsung stock one. Scroll is smooth in this apk, as well as transition in opening folder.
Download the apk, move it from sdcard to system/app to replace original gallery.apk using root explorer or any root filemanager, then set permissions to read write, read, read.
Try it, it's awesome.

I think this is gallry ++ i alredy installed it and both same. Just change background accorging to pictures.

Not just look. I have a lot of folders and using the stock one is so ****ty because stock gallery always jumps in scrolling. CM made theirs a hell lot faster and it is not even an opinion this is better

its for deodexed roms only...,not to worry,Ive attached update.zip for stock odex ones. Flash it in recovery..[as a bonus i changed the icon to the default one,i think its better]...+1 for me and the thread starter...

ahh...for deodexed only thats why FC on my froyo..

can u create a apk file only that can be put at system/app?
so that for easy restoring backup stock apk when i got in trouble..

i had a backup of my gallery.apk
but ur attached was .zip..
if i messed..dont know what to do..cause my backup was in apk..

keep a backup of the odex too...if you mess up,just replace the apk and odex using root explorer..i created zip so that you don't need to do that permission crap

BTW..im have update.zip in my root of sd card..
it was to be replace the update zip if i try to copy it to my sd card..how was that?..
the one(update.zip) on my sd card was done updating it..can i now delete that files and put the one(update.zip) of yours..?

am confused..just place the update zip in the root of your sdcard and flash it

coz in update.zip in recovery doesnt work..
now no gallery app or icon was on my drawer..its gone.
gonna put my back now..

just extract it from the zip..its inside the app folder

Yup. Feel free to share it too. I'm on your rom but the gallery is the laggy Samsung default.

Need service.jar / service.odex files for BLN - ROM JVT

Hi,
i hope somebody can help me...
i need modded/patched service.jar & service.odex files for BLN - ROM JVT.
BLN not work with stock SMS...
i found some modded files for rom JVS but not for JVT rom.
-> sorry 4 my bad english! ;-)

Please, how to flash SMS modification ODEX file? With Odin or with CWM like flashing ZIP? I heard somewhere that .odex files are not CWM flashable.

Sure they are, they are on the same path as .apk files (/system/app). Only difference is, that the DEODEXED ROM has the .odex included in the .apk, so it's no need to have it separately (that's why DEODEXED ROM's are easier to modify).
Just flash with CWM.*
If you're curious, you can open the .zip with the WinRar and look into META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script. It's a script that tells the CWM what to do, so you can check which files are copied etc. You'll also see if the package is flashable by CWM or Odin (Odin ones are usually .tar though).

Find the firmware that you require and download it.
Find the systemui in the app folder of the downloaded file and move it to your system/app and set the permissions (rw r r). Reboot.

its a great news our device supports Xperia Vivid mod from Z3
First have a look
its amezinnggggg changeeeeeee
now mod is ready just need some changes .
but first you have to have
Locked Bootloader
Root
recovery
Superuser Mod
Deodexed
if you have that then go ahead and do a nandroid backup in TWRP
go to below link and download XperiaZ3XReality+Vivid Z1 Stock Only for xperia Z1 zip

I have 4.4.3 stock rom..rooted with custom recovery.. but its not deodexed..can i try this Mod? and how to deodexed, i tried to flash the deodexed one from development thread but i got boot loop..?

and can you please tell me which phone you are using
coz for t2 ultra dual and t2 ultra zip are different
if you flash wrong zip you will end up with boot loop

I am using this mod since it's release day. Not used modified settings. Apk.
It works for me with unlocked bootloader. Don't need to lock bootloader.

Sir i have one more question, i finale successed to deodexed my rom, and i follow your steps for this. Rom but when i replace settings apk and restart my phone i dont have settings anymore... I set permissions rights..any thoughts?

you need to push settings apk in to system/Priv-app
also check if there any settings.odex file should not be there if there is one then delete and reboot
should be done

Nop there is no any.odex file..i know for pushiing and i already did that.. but when i do that and restar my phone there is no settings app..
This is the steps i took:
1.First, deodexed the ROM
2.Flash this MOD
3.Enable superuser mod in Xperia Xposed KK
3.download RaR file and extract it

6.reboot the phone
but when phone is reboot there is no settings..

I had installed this vivid mod and its working perfectly on t2 ultra dual on stock odexed rom 4.4.3.
U have no need to deodexed ur rom.

For Accuweather: Change the filename to AccuweatherPhone2013 before you replace your stock apk.
For Messaging App: Don't look it up on file explorer 'cause you don't have to. Flash it directly from cwm.
Note: Just make a back up.
