I just rooted my stock 4.4.2 G Pad using the ioroot25 method (as described here [can't post link...] ).
The rooting worked, and everything on the tablet appears to work fine.
However after every boot I'm getting an error dialogue pop up "Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped.".
Any idea what might be causing it, or how best to rectify it? (preferably without reflashing back to stock...)
Never mind, factory (app) reset solved it.
It might not have been related to the rooting.
Indeed not related to rooting...had it before and after rooting. ... Still not solved...

Okay, im wishing I wouldve left my phone alone after this jelly bean ota. I had my phone rooted and was planning on keeping it rooted WITHOUT unlocking the bootloader. But I thought what could go wrong........So I freegeed and had to KDZ the 4.1.2. lost root but got that back. Unfortunately Im having some force close issues and I have no idea why. Chrome and dolphin browser were force closing so I tried fixing permissions with rom manager but that didnt help (only seemed to fix permissions halfway and then stop for some reason...). I then tried to clear data and cache for them but that didnt help. I tried uninstallling them and reinstalling, but that only helped for chrome. I really want LBE permissions guard to work but everytime that app starts it forces the phone into a boot loop. Does anybody know whats going on? I wish I never tried freegee..... :crying:

Perhaps you want to just flash back to stock?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2196742
I did that. I am stock. Except for root now. But these problems remain.
I have the same problem.
Well I found out LBE is not compatible with jelly bean......at least not yet....
Try unistalling the updates on those apps. It fixed mine.

I had the Android 4.3 leaked test version and now I flashed using Heimdall (Linux's Odin) Android 4.1.2 choosing the FULL Flash option. the problem is that after it flashed and everything it booted, and the first error appeared S-Note force close. it keeps appearing over and over. Then when I logged with my Google account another fc...android.process.acore, so these 2 keep force closing endlessly.
I also notice some apps missing, not only S-Note, but only the Phone app. It's useless flashing again so how can I fix this problem in another way?
Now my phone is on Android 4.1.2 with missing stuff.

Reflash your stock firmware. dont tick the repartition. Just the PDA then flash. Be careful in flashing.

Hello, I am hoping someone might be able to help me fix this problem that my mother is having with her Kindle. The problem is her browser keeps freezing whenever she tries to share things on Facebook, it even does it on the Facebook app. Also randomly does just browsing websites as well. I have tried factory reset, tried chrome, boat, dolphin browsers. I've run out of ideas to try. She didn't have this problem til the current update came out she said. Anyone think trying to root it and installing a custom rom could fix this?
More than likely yes it would fix it if it was a bug introduced by the latest update, you could also try downgrading the os, but personally I prefer using a custom ROM.

fix s note unsure of qc
Myrith has found a fix for s note here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2535005
It worked for me.
Unsure of how to fix qc. I had the same problems. Might just back my data up and do a hardware reset.
let me know if you find a way.
After attempting to update an app in play store, I was prompted with a 194 error. I recently configured my rooted handset back to stock firmware using instructions from XDA which worked like a charm. I then re-rooted the G2, and restored from a backup I made before returning to stock. The device performed flawlessly, then hours later I began getting these 194 errors in the play store. I have a Sprint LG G2 LS980ZVE, 32 GB, Kernel version 3.4.0, Android version 4.4.2. If I must re-do the hand set again, I will, but if someone knows an easier fix, please do share. Thanks!

Have you tried clearing everything on the play store. Go to settings/apps/Google play store.
Clear data and cache and see I'd that helped.
Of not try removing updates and have it update.

Yes I have tried that procedure, but no luck. I eventually disabled my firewall, then I was able to download away! Now before returning to stock, and having same apps, I never had that issue! I would love for someone to explain the difference to me. Anyway, thanks a lot for your suggestion, they are always appreciated.

Maybe your firewall reads your device as a different IP address from what you have set to go through. I'm not sure, why your firewall is blocking I don't know.
Sounds great. I just set up a user account with XDA, and plan on visiting quite frequently. Thanks!
