Cloud Browser is a fast Android browser. Cloud browser is inspired from iOS's Safari for its user interface. By using iOS Safari as an inspiration, we were able to develop a natural and modern user interface aimed at making our users' life easier.
Speed: Cloud Browser is without a doubt one of the fastest browsers on Android.
Security: Cloud Browser has Icognito mode built in so if you need to browse the web anonymously, you know you can do it with Cloud Browser. Also, our browser sports the latest in data encryption methods so you know you are safe when browsing with Cloud Browser.
Productivity: Cloud Browser is very easy to understand and use, thus making migrating from other web browser an easy and painless process. You can even use the built in option to import bookmarks from other web browsers.
Works excellent whether on phone or tablet: Cloud Browser has been designed with both phones as well as tablets in mind from the very beginning and thus looks good whether it is being used on your phone or else on your tablet.

My S2 supported flash until kitkat. Now it's only working on dolphin browser and that's why I asked, if this browser supports it or not
no problem
Did a speedtest with cloud, chrome and Firefox
Cloud: 10 sec
Chrome: 17 sec
Firefox: 10 sec
Nice speed, but I don't really like the layout (it takes too much screen from the top)
It would be nice to have the tabs like on firefox.
When i click on bookmarks, it crashes..
using S2, Mokee Open source rom..
no mobile view/desktop view, also, the going icognito is bit weird, if it is like chrome or firefox, you can switch between icognito tabs and not icognito tabs.

For the desktop/mobile view, you can go to settings and change user agent. Default is mobile, iPad is iPad, and Desktop is Desktop.
For incognito, to exit incognito, just close all the tabs in incognito mode.

Agree, fantastic tool.
Im using mozilla as there is an add-on for that too.
So, except for google maps and youtube videos what other uses for ChromeToPhone are there?
Well, you can push any link to your phone and not depend on QR codes. I think thats cool. Just an example, you come across a nice picture you want to use as a wallpaper. Just push a button, beats fiddling with bluetooth/usb after DLing or even using a QR code generator.
Totally agree!
This's just amazing!
I love it and I'm sure I'll use it often!

You're able to dial a phone numbers. You just have to select the phone number in the browser then click on the button. It'll directly send it to your phone and open the dialer application.
Also you're able to select a text and after you click the button in the browser it will be copied in your Android clipboard
Totally! I've used it a couple of times today already.
The fact that it sends maps straight to Google Maps on the phone is gonna be super handy for trips.
I was looking for this. Awesome tool!
It is cool, but it needs to be able to go the other way too.
How many times have you clicked on a page that's slow or cumbersome on your phone, one that's just better suited to your laptop browser? Would be so handy to be able to send from phone to chrome.
It was raised on the code.google site but they said they're not working on it
i found firefox/chrome plugin but i also want IE8 plugin, any one found this yet?
yep, tried it yesterday on mozilla firefox and it works great

It is a puch service so your phone doesn't actively check for the links sent to the phone but it is pushed to the phone and then the phone downloads it.
Just how the push email works.
Clever stuff!
Can you use it for file transfer, eg put the file into dropbox, copy the shared link, Chrome2Phone and download from the phone's browser?
EDIT: Just realised, there's a Dropbox app, er, for that.

Is there any way to disable the notification sound for this app. I know i can disable notification sounds, but i would like to disable it only for this...
And maybe I should ask this on the Maps brut thread, but when sending a link from google maps it opens in stock Maps app instead of Maps brut (which I chose for default), if I uninstall stock Maps app it just won't load the link.
Does anyone knows a way to launch maps links with Maps brut?
thanks!
I thought I'll compile a list of IMP apps that are missing. If someone knows a decent alternative to these please suggest.
1. Amazon
2. Kindle - I know this is coming
3. Skype
4. Good IM app - Like Fringe or Palringo
5. Comics reader - comixology (DC or Marvel)
6. Ustream or QIK

7 Private Chat ...an app from android that locks ur fone and gives u 2 passcodes it gives u a dummy code that will open another app and a real code to get u to ur text messages
Opera Mini - absolutely
BTW, InternetExplorer doesn't support my banks online banking
BeejiveIM > Fring and Palringo. Beejive is more apt to use Push Notifications, removing the need to multitask the App, ever... It's expensive, though. I downloaded the Android trial and 2 days later Facebook added chat. Byebye Beejive
There's also WhatsApp.
The first smartphone OS to offer a worthy alternative to Blackberry Messenger will win big, I think
Microsoft said they won't disallow apps that duplicate functionality, but I don't know if they'll allow you to change the default browser.
That would be very bad. Opera Mini is even available on iPhone.

after how many years though?
the reason you won't see opera/firefox/chrome on wp any time soon is due to the restrictions still on the languages. wp uses VB/C#, which does not allow for C++ which a lot of these more complex programs are written in. Though OEMs have capabilities to write native code.
I am pretty satisfied for the most part with the apps on my HD7 but I do want Skydrive integration and limited multitasking for apps like LastFM.
Bing also should be updated to match the superior iPhone app.
Many things have to be improved.
IE is great but lacks support for many features.
I got an app for amazon in "testing" in the marketplace. I can give out the xap if you like it, It's gonna be free anyway.
It has limited functionality at this time, but I'm improving it as I found new things to add.

1. Official Google Voice App - I know it might be a problem to intercept outgoing calls and/or using GV when you tap "Send Text" from the People Hub, but an official app from Google would probably be more fluid than what's available now. GVoice is a good solution for now, but it could use some small improvements. Who better to do that than Google?
2. I know emulators are not allowed, but I'd like to see a homebrew PSX and SNES Emulator. I'd definately pay the developer for it, Paypal maybe since Marketplace won't allow it... that's how it's done for WinMo.
3. BeyondPod

I use the stock browser. Go to settings -> Labs -> and enable quick controls. I find them extremely useful and wish chrome beta would have a similar system. I used the chrome beta for a while and i liked it but found it still had some stability issues.

Still stuck on the stock browser, but I´m not liking it very much. Was thinking of trying out the Firefox browser since I´m running it for many years on all my computers. But at the same time I like to keep things light and not install something I don´t really need.
Anyone got any experience with Firefox on the phone?
Stock for me. Before used Opera. Tried Chrome and didnt like it at all
Only Opera.
Because
1) I like controls (back, tabs etc.) on the bottom of the screen. Stock browser requires a very long thumb to access address bar.
2) I like the starter page with thumbs of my bookmarks.
3) Switching between tabs is much faster with Opera (because it's at the bottom).
4) etc.
I wish Opera was a bit faster. But can't complain about the speed when it's so convenient to use (comparing to stock browser or dolphin).

I like it myself but as I don't have any problems with Google Chrome on my phone. I think the biggest thing that will keep me as a chrome user on my android phone would be the syncing between my desktop, laptop and mobile device. I doubt opera would ever allow themselves to sync their bookmarks with chrome.

I think its not way faster, but definitly Faster than the latest chrome.
And now the chrome has a bad text rendering making the text so unsharp, then Opera beta is absolutly my choice until Google fixes chrome.

Like reskinned chrome without tab swipe, or other device sync. So not really similar at all lol.
I guess it's ok. Nothing of interest to me though. It's just a regular old style browser with no features that seem useful.
Angel browser seems most interesting to me but it's pretty buggy and no dev support... And no other device sync... Man that's a good feature.

Well to be fair it is in beta. The feature that opera advertises to put them out of the crowd would be off the road feature.
We all think it's chrome because it uses webkit which is what chrome uses. And chrome is the leader of webkit in terms of putting it out there on the map.
Mozilla uses gecko and the old opera browser uses trident.
I'd say it's a pretty successful beta 1 and looking forward to see what else they have to put out there.

Presto.
Pretty much using it as my daily driver with no issues. Which is more then Chrome was able to do on its first "stable" release.
All the features I need are there and work. And if its little data saver counter is correct then it is certainly friendly on a mobile network like old opera mini.

You can try my edited Dolphin Browser apk. I have used flash on 4.2.2 before with no issues or crashes. Strange why its crashing.

Alright, so I took a few minutes to test these and other browsers, here's what I found:
1. YouTube and many other video sites support HTML5 on mobile devices. This is why you are able to view them.
Flash is NOT supported on stock or chrome browser.
2. Photon Flash Player & Browser (Google Play App Link) has the best flash plugin support that I've seen for in any browser.
- I was actually able to play flash games and the option to switch between touch control and "mouse" control makes games that do not require directional pads playable.
3. Every other browser in the list that I tried testing flash games with crashed shortly after entering the game.
I can't confirm the compatibility with flash-only video sites at the moment but I'll update this when I don't have pending homework.
Still can't get it to work for Facebook apps. Just keep getting the page that says "you need flash....."
