DARK BLACK PLAYSTORE...
i have themed the lastest version of playstore v3.7.15 to pure black ...
it was simple to just decompile n swap some pngs n some java code n all done ..
if i got tyme frm my work will get out more differnt colored themed playstores n much more ..
to add it to ur phone follow the instructions
1.copy the apk to ur phone ..
2.using file explorer copy it to system/app..
3.before coping do a back up of ur playstore(vending.apk for gb or phonesky.apk for ics.. )
4.change the permissions to rw-r-r
5.for gb roms its vending.apk n for ics roms its phonesky.apk..

Did you rename the app? Sometimes in the copy and paste for some explorers it keeps both apps but one has a COPY statement before .apk. rename exactly as its seen in the browser for the default and replace. Reboot...good to go. What rom are you using?

I didn't rename the app, all I did was delete the old store apk and posted the new one in its place.

i hav updated the app again for uu... try it.. nw just rename it to Gmail.apk delete or backup the prvious one .. paste it to system /app set permission to rw~r~r n reboot

use root explorer.. u can set permissions in it.. errors r due to permissions..

i cannot tried transferring to the system>data with correct permissions but the file wont appear. so then i tried to install and i get "error while parsing the package". on my older rom stock deodexed XXEMC2 it was working fine ( i guess it was the version before update) but on wanamlite v6 XXEMC3 its not working. any one else facing the same issue??

The keyboard is not working..
I've made a flashable zip myself to overite my latinIME.apk and flashed it, then I got the error of it not working,any suggestion??
I humbly ask if you could upload the libjni_latinime.so..
I think that will solve my problem.

Naah... why did you make a flashable zip it doesnt need to be flashed or put into the system.. it's type of a basic just install thing put it into ur sdcard and install it... do remember to backup any other AOSP keyboards before doing this!

New Calendar App Dark INverted with 4.1.2 compatibility as it's from 4.2.2

Hi, great mod especially for amoled screens, unfortunatelly I have problem installing it in i8190.
When I try to install it gives me this error message (calendar and music):
X Application not installed
Package with that name and different signature already installed.
I cannot uninstall the original apps since they are flashed in the rom. Any ideas?
Maybe flashable?
(benz rom by the way).

Backup or remove those apps from /system/apps
Put the new ones there instead and change permisions to rw-r-r- (644)
Reboot.

it works on mine (i used the samsung dock + hdmicable with a converter to dvi as my flatscreen is a bit older )

same problem for me, i tested 2 roms 4.3 but the Screen mirroring is not working
i had to downgrade to 4.1.2 until a solution appears..

N7100XXUEMJ5 + root with dr.ketan MutiTool + tiangle away 3.10

I back again with another great solution...
by replacing the file:
libWFD_ENGINE.so
in this folder:
/system/lib
and give it the right permitions: rw-r--r-- then restart
the solution tested on N7100.XXUEMI6 and XXUEMJ5 and work like a charm...
the patched file in my post here

No, just download the patched file and replace it.
and the screen mirroring will work with your allshare cast dangle, or your samsung smart tv.. , it will connect by direct wifi without usb cable.

Hi,the file is in read-only, i cant move or copy to /system/lib and also i cant change permission it says file is in read only mode.

i tried with both "root explorer" and "total commander" but,it says permissions cannot be changed because the file system is read-only.
can you plz upload the file once again(with read-only removed).

Please use es file explorer> menu >tap root explorer> mount system r/w.

Aosp messaging, this will replace your LGMessage.apk
Make a backup of it if you feel the need to.
Instructions:
flash in recovery
reboot
Done
Manual method (Without recovery)
extract the LGMessage.apk from the zip
Go to system/priv-app
Delete your current LGMessage.apk
Move the new one to system/priv-app
Make sure permissions are set rw-r--r--
Reboot

thanks alot!

Anyone having issues with this? I did the manual install. I renamed the old file to apk.bak and placed the new file in. Rebooted and. The app wouldn't open. I tried installing it and that got the app to open but I couldn't send any messages. After another reboot the app wouldn't open again. Wentback to the stock app for now.

Did you fix permissions ?

I have it working after realizing you have to rename the message.odex file to .bak as well. Make sure permissions are rw-r-r

Never thought of that. I'm on a custom ROM so its already deodexed.

This has to be it. I didn't even think about the odex file. My phones are normally on a deodexed Tom. Thanks will try now and update.
Update edit.
I renamed the odex file and that seemed to have fixed the issue. Been using it for a few days. It won't send mms over WiFi though
