Hi! Some time ago I wrote about not working volume buttons. Yesterday I left my phone connected to charger, and it was charging all night. This morning I found the phone turned off, I tried turning it on, but it doesn't do anything! Connected to PC - nothing, connected to charger - nothing, removing/inserting battery - nothing, other cables/chargers - nothing. It's just like without battery. Is there any way to fix it? Is it bricked? Few details about it: I have this phone about 2 months, stock 4.3 with root, locked bootloader, never damaged (falling into water, on ground etc.)
I'm Sorry , it's seems like bricked device

one and only option - flash stock 4.1.2 firmware with flashtool
if this does not work may be your phone is bricked. The only way is go to sony service center and act as a dumb , (dont tell them that you are rooted your device and tell them i dont know anything about rooting,etc..)so, usually they dont have much time and they'll replace you with new handset.
:fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:
I'm guessing there's a problem with the battery.

Well, I tried everything, the battery works, the phone is bricked. But I don't have warranty for it. Anyone knows how much service will cost?

That's tragic for your xperia and as you say you haven't done anything that may cause this problem than maybe it was like a short circuit or electrical surge which fried the phones chip and make it dead because as ansebovi said, if it would hv been bricked than it would hv flashed the led atleast.

Take the battery out for 2 minutes. put it back in. Do not turn it on. Then plug it into the charger for 10 minutes and then power it on. Might sound like joke but I'm dead serious.
**EDIT**
Its possible the things battery just died. If its completely dead it wont do anything I've scared myself like this once as well. If this does not work try download mode. The fact alone its not rooted tells me it might just need some more charging time.

Hi guys, this is sort of a last resort thing and I've read the thread with "Xperia Ion bricked. Any fix?".
Basically, I was doing the battery callibration (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1760207&highlight=battery) and so did the power + volume up button. I did this around 3 times as it went from 95% to 98% then I was expecting it to go up but it stayed at 98% so I decided to do it once more. However, instead of usually vibrating, the screen just instantly went off. Tried to power up but it didn't work. Took it off from the charger and tried all button combinations (power + volume up/down) and still to no avail.
Then I put it in the wall charger again and the LED seems to have a faint orange light coming when charging so I know it's actually charging... Then I thought it may be possible that for some reason, the battery is drained and followed the "Xperia Ion bricked. Any fix?" http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1771106. After around 15 minutes, the faint orange LED vanished and so I took it off the charger, did the button combinations again and didn't do anything. I put it back in the charger and see the faint orange LED...
Now it's just charging and I don't know what to do Is my beloved Ion bricked? I just got it a month ago :crying: what should I do with it?
Tried plugging it in the computer and PC Companion didn't see my device
Also I live in the UK and I got the phone from Indonesia... It still has a years guarantee but I can't go spend £500 for a ticket just to fix my phone
I'm extremely desperate, please help!
Hold power + volume up wait for one vibrate, keep holding both you should then get three vibrates in a row now turn it on normally, mine kinda did the same thing and I did this

Is the phone on? Meaning it's using power in some way (led on, screen is black but on, button lights stay on)? If so you may need to drain the battery, if the reset trick isn't working. Once the battery is dead (this can take up to 24 hours) and it shuts off, try charging it. Do not turn it on till it's charged more than halfway.

The ion battery CAN'T be remove no matter what...and to TS,if your phone still can't be turn on,try to let the battery completely drain, and leave it like that for 1 hour, and after that try to charge back...
I afraid your phone thought it was 'on' but the screen is 'off' like my old x10 Mini Pro which when I turn on,it vibrate and on (yep, alive) but the screen is black BUT I can feel the touch and the vibration of the phone. To fix the problem,I remove my phone battery for 10 minutes and turn it on again, after that it works perfectly...

So, first thing in the morning just pulled it off the charger with 100% battery. There I was sitting on the stool browsing my phone, as usual, when suddenly BLACK SCREEN... EDIT: Also tried to plug it into my computer to see if i could access USB storage... nothing happens...

If there is a problem after you root, you're done. The Knox flag will be permanently (at least until someone figures out how) set to 0x1.

I put phone with rubber band for about a day, but it hasn't been flashed for this period. Are there any other ways to unbrick phone?

the best way to unbrick was as said by mirhawk. if you dont have patience then you can remove phone battery, charge it with an external charger, then insert it to phone and try to boot into flashmode.
