My config.:
Min. CPU: 245 MHz
Max. CPU: 825 MHz
Governor: SmartAssV2 (or SmartAssH3 if available)
I/O Scheduler: SIO (or ZEN if using SmartAssH3 as governor) :highfive: :fingers-crossed:

Help Please. What are the best Governers and I/O Schedulers....

I need not only performance, but battery life as well..
i currently have my clock at 998 high and 245 low
Performance governor and cfq i/o scheduler
but i want something that wont give me ANY lag, and give me good battery life
Depends on the kernel you use but currently I'm using MikG rom with the Underworld kernel, Smartassv2 governor, and SIO i/o scheduler. That's the best set up for ME. Just change things around and see what works out best for you and the set up you have. InteractiveX and Ondemand are also good Governors and Noop and deadline are good i/o schedulers as well.
The Performance governor that you are using now will drain the battery very fast because it will keep the cpu at the 998 most of the time or whatever you Change your max to
This should help a bit.

i use smartass2 and 200-600 .. there is no differrence between 600 and 806 for me..
i use interactive 200-806 and noop i/o scheduler. seems to give (imho) better battery life and still give performance when needed over smartassv2
Smartassv2, 245-600, noop i/o scheduler. That's the best setting for my wfs CM9 daily use.

Smartass v2 or InteractiveX have the best battery life and smoothness at the same time.
I think the max frequency is perfect on 600 MHz, but if it's slow then you can set it on 806.

[Q] CPU settings for max performance

Guys can you tell me the best settings for a faster and lag free device? (battery is an issue too)
Min. freq? max freq? Governor? I/O scheduler?
MAX: 883mhz
MIN: 245mhz
GOV: SmartAssv2
I/O: Deadline
This is the best frequency for me in overall batterylife and performance

[Q] Battery drain on high cpu frequency (no OC)

Halo!
I am using the rom M'rage V2.1 and I have a really big battery drain
When the phone goes to high CPU frequency.
My setting in no frills CPU control:
MAX: 800 Mhz
MIN: 122 Mhz
Governor:smartassV2
I\O scheduler: noop
One week ago I bought A new original samsung battery so I don't think
This is a problem of the battery itself.
please help
Hi,
I'm using the same ROM an my settings are:
MAX: 672 Mhz
MIN: 122 Mhz
Governor:smartassV2
I\O scheduler: noop
I'm using it the whole day for browsing and videos on YT and my battery lasts for the whole day.
Maybe the downclocking helps you.
Do you have a lot of apps running?

Yes I think so..
I tried to change the rom to GIOPRO
I hope its will help but I will try your suggestion
Do you have "lags" with this OC?
Hi,
I don't have more "Lags" than before
In my opinion the small ram is the problem for those "Lags".
Maybe you could also try this ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1654317
It's often recommended and you can install it with the Adrenaline Engine.

[Q] What Governors and I/O Schedulers do you use?

I have a HTC One V running Ignorance V4. Typically, I overclocked my phone to 1.4ghz or 1.7ghz and use SmartAssV2/Lionheart with SIO.
