Anyone know of an EQ that works over bluetooth(Non Root)?
If I use the "Equalizer" app from the Play Store, I can hear a difference over bluetooth. Otherwise, I don't think there's any amplification to the stream. Hopefully, I'm wrong.

Streaming music apps like spotify/ google music have in app equalizers that really make a difference, hence I use them. But every so often the equalizer turns off by itself reverting back to a loud/flat sound. But as soon as you go to check the equalizer, it says it is still on and the sound reverts to your settings in the equalizer.
Has anyone else encountered this?
Hi guys. Whenever I enable bass boost in any equalizer (such as the Google Play Music app's default one) and play a track using the Google Play Music app, I get slight distortion when listening to the song via the stock Samsung headphones. This happens with even a slight bass boost, but goes away as soon as I remove any bass boost. I tested with 2 different headphones and I always get the same thing when bass boost is enabled. I don't recall this happening on my old HTC EVO 4G LTE phone. Is this normal with this phone? Is this the same issue as the reported audio distortion with certain headphones? One last question and I'll shutup... can anyone recommend a good stock Touchwiz ROM with bloatware removed that includes the European firmware that fixes the headphone distortion issues along with the inclusion of Apps2SD? Thank you!

Bass boost should only be used with headphones that can handle it. Those earbuds that come with the phone are cheap.
i know the """"beats"""" audio never worked with google play music it would always cause crazy distortions
(beats audio isnt realy beats just DSP manager rebranded)
what is best option for non rooted n5x ?
wich player or eq is similar to viper4android:good:?
anyone >?
I don't think there are any worth using. All non-root EQ's I've ever tried distort sound, or lower volume, or cause other issues with playback and sound. I mainly care about phone > car audio setup, and I use stock Google Play music EQ matched with my car audio's adjusted EQ. Took awhile, but it's sounding great now. N5X is a huge improvement over the previous Nexus DAC.
Hey there, I currently have a MTCC V2.97 Klyde unit (resold by eonon), and I'm having an issue. I'm running mals rom on android 5.1.1, and to play my music I use an aux cord in my car, which to play it I must open the AVIN app. The problem is I don't like the stock EQ, so I use Viper4Android as an EQ. I know viper works because when play music off Spotify from the unit itself the EQ affects it, and I can hear the difference when I turn viper on and off, but I don't hear any difference when something is playing through AVIN. Is there anything I can do to make the AVIN app go through the software EQ? seems to be bypassing any software EQing.
Hello guys...
Since I have this phone and connect my True Wireless Earbuds, I notice low volume and quality specialty in the bass. I know that those earbuds are very limited, but I tried using an Equalizer. Almost all the apps in the play store are useless because they lowered the volume instead of increasing it. So, after looking for a while on the web, I found an app called Wavelet with some free and paid features, it is very useful if you are not Root and try to improve a little bit the Bluetooth audio.
But still, I'm not happy, because I came from a Snapdragon chipset and used to use "snapdragon audio +" equalizer and the audio was really great.
I read that is possible to install viper4Android and Dolby Atmos and a while ago tried to install some of these options, but I just got a slow device and fast battery drain.
¿Do you know any other option, idea, thread, .apk, method which could help me to improve my experience with the Bluetooth audio in my RN8Pro?
Regards!
Just buy Poweramp Music Player if you plan on local music playback else Wavelet is the only way to go I guess.

I think you should try NRG player if you want to tune the audio over bluetooth.
