BacK up Of EFS/IMEI NOTE 2

Hey guys, I was thinking just now that the community needs a GUIDE on how to back up the imei number of our beloved (lol), and expensive note 2's!
If anyone would be kind enough to post links to tools/toolkits that can be used and needed for the process and a detailed guide on how to do it, you would be doing all of us a great favor. Right now im not sure how to do it and firmly believe in keeping backups of anything important!

Ok cool im going to check it out now. I tried to use the nv software from the galaxy s3 imei backup but it didnt work and im not sure why.

Update.... completed successfully! that was by far the easiest method and best advice. Thanks alot. Now I dont have to worry too much about this anymore. I recommend everyone use that toolkit/script to backup imei!

Port this ROM from 7105?

Was curious if anyone wants to port this ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2079291? It's
[ROM]Emotion Note II v3 [DLL7] [4.1.2] [Update 08-01-13] Paf & Ivanebdesign
It has everything I could want in a stock ROM including the 23 toggle mod, center clock, 1% battery mod and so on.

Thats an N7100 rom
Could always do research and port it yourself.

4.1.2 status bar

I just updated my note 2 through kies to firmware 4.1.2 and I realized that my status bar isnt black looks grey to me. Now im not sure if 4.1.1 was grey as well but it feels it was darker than the new update . Is there a fix for this ? kinda think a black status bar would look slickk .

Yeah thought so too just made it a little darker not fully black, I went thru alot of trouble to find that out. The road ends here bud.

I"m not positive but i thought I remember even seeing him liking posts in YOUR thread so I figured he had to read it by now. Granted it has moved to the second page but it was on the first for at least the last 4 days.

I think is the same person different names....don't give up ,till you get the black status bar...

Can anybody help please, I am on the the 4.3 Tiger rom and I am experiencing this problem with gallery : when I hit the share button, it stops. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Its a known issue of some of the 4.3 leaked roms..no need to worry..keep checking respective thread to know if it has been fixed

Same problem here. Happened after upgrading galaxy note 8.0 to android 4.2.

[Q] Issues with SkyNote 4.3 Edition RC4

Yesterday I flashed the recently released version of SkyNote 4.3 RC4 rom on my AT&T Galaxy Note 2.

After 24 hours of use there are two issues that I'm having.
1. Applications crash a lot
2. My Note 2 randomly reboots itself as I'm using it. It's happened to me at least 5 times in the last twenty-four hours.
Would anyone have an idea as to what the problem might be and how I might go about resolving it?

In regards to number 2, which bootloader are you on? I was having random reboots on the 4.1.2 bootloader, but have not had an issue on the 4.3 bootloader.

I flashed the 4.3 bootloader that was recommended in the post link that I included. Maybe I need a different bootloader than?

this shouldn't even be a thread its not fully functional as yet tons of bugs that all of the flashers are aware of thats why its in the appropriate forum. everyone there helps sean fix the issues noo need to put them here

Just ask the moderators to close this thread down ...and post your bugs in the rom thread....
That way...we don't end up with duplicate threads all over the planet ...and other people that use the same rom can help you..
No need to get defensive...
It just makes more sense ...and doesn't clutter the section with repeat posts asking the same things over again ...g

SkyNote 4.3 RC8 Freezes on Reboot
I have wiped and installed this rom 3X and each time I reboot it freezes at the Samsung Galaxy Note II logo it wont move any further???? Everything works on first boot including WiFi... it only freezes on a reboot. Any help? Followed the instuctions. << AT&T Version, SkyNote 4.3 RC8 >>

They say to full wipe 3x in a row (not extsdcard) than flash rom and let it sit a few minutes to settle into phone than go back and flash the update and than let it sit a few minutes. than flash whatever xtras you want to flash. but im on r9z n3 edition. yes they have a forum there but cant ask questions or post if you are new to posting.
