To root or not, that is the question - Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, 10.1, 8.4 Q&A, Help & Trouble

So I am thinking about rooting my Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, but I have a question I hope someone can help me with. If I root my tablet and flash CleanRom on it, can I go back to stock rom if I want? The reason I ask is that I cannot seem to find the SM-T320 US stock rom. I see a lot of other countries, but not US.
Thanks

I found this previously and believe it should work but I haven't tried it yet myself http://nasirtech.blogspot.com/2014/02/t320ueu1anai-android-442-for-galaxy-tab.html. That is the same ROM my US 8.4 came with. I'm running CleanROM currently and it's fabulous!

Any suggestions on how to root an 8.4 LTE? I just got mine in Hong Kong and see positively NO info on how to get this rooted.. I should have done research before buying the Tab.. no root for me, positively useless Tab..

You my friend will have a shiny new BRICK if you stick around here in this forum.
This is the Tmobile T999 Galaxy S4 forum and anything you find here will cause
you a lot more harm than good. It looks like you have a Galaxy S4 9505 phone.
Why not go to the correct forum and try to get help there.
The link to the correct forum is: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=2162
There you can get real help.
Good luck!

[Q] S3 stock firmware etc problems..

hello,
i recently bought my sasung galaxy s3 from t-mobile (in Holland).
after like 2 weeks i decided to root it and try and install the android 2.3 rom on it.
becouse that did not quite work out, i flashed the stock kernel on it again, and wanted eveything back to stock. but now when i open some apps they wont allow me anything becouse i do not have the original firmware etc on it....
I also cannot do software update becouse it says im running something custom,
if someone could telle me what to do to really bring it back to stock evething that would be great!
if you need more info thenn ask
It sounds like you have the I9300 or I9305. Look under the battery to be sure. If so, you need to go to the forum for that device, as nothing here will help you and most of us know little about your model.

[Q] CWM or TWRP for Tab 3 10.1 LTE P5220

Hi folks,
I've not had much luck in finding this answer in google so I'd thought I'd give it
a try here.
Can anyone tell me which versions of CWM and TWRP are safe to use of
Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 LTE/4G model GT-P5220?? From my reading of both
websites neither of them support the P5220, but obviously some do as
people are rooting the P5220.
I'd rather not risk bricking for obvious reasons.
Many thanks in advance,
Me.

I use TWRP 2.7.0 on my P5210 and it is listed as not supported. I cannot say that it will harm your device, but only one way to find out... Try it. I do not use CWM. I did try it but I did not like it. TWRP has a better GUI with the push button interface.
thanks to all

Possible Root Method?

While figuring out how to root a friend's Note II, I stumbled upon this thread here . I haven't tested it on the Note 4 yet, but tried it out on my S4. Of course they are different, but the S4 wasn't able to be rooted through normal methods. I was just curious if anyone wanted to try it out.
Mods, I don't know if this is in the right section, but since I didn't create it, I didn't put it in the Development Section.
Thanks for reading, I just wanted to share. Happy rooting!
Nope towelroot does not work on the note 4. there are no root methods as of now. Otherwise everyone would be rooted
