Hi, i got some dust inside a xperia play that is almost invisible and a white speck that is very visible inside a new xperia play, i also got another play that has some minor dust inside the screen that can only be seen by using a bright flashlight.
So my questions are:
1)Is this normal?
2)Did this dust came from the factory?
3)Will i continue to get more dust?
Thanks
1) I have some dust. But if you still can view the screen when using, it is okay. If you want, send to centre and ask them to clean it.
2) Possible.
3) There won't be more dust.

that is not normal , i think your phone is second hand , there is no way for dust to come inside ( from factory )
i personally have some dust between touch digitizer and LCD, cauce i've changed my broken touch-digitizer. so i think that is not normal and please talk to sony support guys

The iPhone 4 and beyond never had that problem. The digitizer and LCD are fused together.

Look online, there is tons of topics of people reporting the iphone 4 problems of dust, and some from the iphone 4s.
there is some reporting the play but i want to know if pople here got it too, look your play under a flashlight while off to see if you got dust that can't be cleaned.
Anyone?
Hi all,
I own a HTC one X, i got it couple of months back. I recently noticed that my camera lens cover is pretty much scratched up, specially at the bottom where the whole phone's upper parts resides when laid flat. I tried taking pictures but see not much difference.
I just want to know how bad this issue is? How many of the HOX users here have this issue?
Should i be worried about the picture quality? Is there anyway i can figure out whether the scratches are affecting my pictures?
I Love my phone and seeing the scratches made me worried and i right away ordered a SPG Crumena leather pouch to avoid more scratches from coming in future. I now want to assess how will the scratches affect my pictures, can someone help me figure that out please.
Well I've read around on xda, that scratching the camera lens causes a deterioration in picture quality. Best way to confirm or check is to compare photos taken with your scratched up lens now vs an old picture taken with your new Htc One X i.e non-scratched lens.

Hi,
I had the same problem exactly, and i have just joined to give you the solution that I used. My HTC photos are sharp and clear as before now.
The solution is very simple ... all what you need is a clean glasses cleaning cloth, glass cleaner (like windex) and tooth paste !! yes tooth paste!
First clean the cover with the glass cleaner ... keep it wet .. apply a tiny portion of tooth paste on it .. rub it with the cloth ... keep it wet all the time.
Repeat till you get the lens back to its original state ... or at least 90 % ... the technique used is similar to the one used in cleaning car head lights .. similar to this video for example:

I hope u find it useful.
I have a problem with the screen on my Xperia Arc.
The glue that holds the screen attatched to the housing seem to have loosen up
Anyone who have had this problem before, or know of a safe way to fix it?
I'm pretty used to take things apart and have done it several times with the Arc.
Thanks in advance
What the.. can you post any pics of this? o.o
Hi Guys/Gals,
I recently got some small scratches on the back of my Z5 Premium chrome edition....it had me really bummed out and upset because it hasn't even been a week yet and it got scratched...I can't tell for sure what did it but I think it was from the one time I was in a rush and had the phone and my keys in the same pocket (I know, dumb mistake).
Anyway, I was trying to read up on different ways I could remove the scratches myself since it was only a small area...my wife came to me and said to hand it over and that she would be able to take care of it...I hesitated but i let her do whatever she was gonna do. She handed me the phone back looking like it had just came out of the box....not a single visible scratch at all....what has me even more interested is how she did it...she said she used clear nail polish on it...this is new to me and I didn't know that clear nail polish could be used to remove light scratches....she said she only used a light dab and then just worked it with a light cloth for buffing (I think). I just thought I'd post this in case anyone else is facing this issue. She also informed me that if you use too much or it doesn't look right, just clean it up by using nail polish remover and you could try again.
I was going to use metal polish but was afraid I would screw it up so I was holding off for a bit....if anyone else has good methods of clearing up light scratches for this phone, please post it here...a lot of us prefer to use their phones with no cases and these tips may come in handy.
Xperia devices seem to scratch easy on the back but not the front
I'd just buy a cheap screen protector just to prevent the back from being scratched up
My Z2 has a load of scratches ONLY on the back but my Z2 is also bent and 2 years old
As for removing the scratches my only advice is taking some window polish and cleaning it ALOT ( i did this with old PS2 games about 11 years ago )
Hi, the back cover of my xperia S is loosening. It moves just a bit, but with a soft friction on the hand it comes off. I think the little plastic lock inside are worn .... Is this happened to anyone? How to solve this?
Thanks to all
