This unoffical version of AOKP is different in alot of ways. It comes with cherry picks that will increase the performance & battery life on device. But 1 thing that i try to focus on is STABILITY while trying to include features at the same time.
» Installation is simple:
- If coming from another ROM. Clean Flash. [Wipe data, system, cache & dalvik.]
- Flash ROM & Gapps.
- Reboot. Profit.
[Make sure to have latest TWRP & CWM.]

STABILITY. & FEATURES.
way more ahead then there latest build. & also a few cherry picks to increase battery life, performance, etc. and also there will be more features being added then the regular AOKP build.
I dont know what happens with new updates/commits but since d2lte my signal becomes very bad (blutooth, wifi and LTE). I flashed a completely stock version of touchwiz 4.3 and then my signal went back but when I flash back any aosp roms based on d2lte my signal becomes again very poor. I dont know what to do...

This looks interesting. May I ask does this support MultiROM by any chance? Also, mind if we see some screenshots and/or features list that you picked out yourself?

Edit : Is there a way I can change my default mobile network settings? I want it on GSM/WCDMA and not LTE.
Is Active Display not included on this build? I can't find any settings for it.
Thanks!

Under the hood tweaks and fixes = Usually means nothing has been done and just sounds pretty cool
Unless you'd care to explain what you mean by that? Please don't take offense. It's not intended. I'm just a big believer in not blowing smoke when possible.
A link to "your" source changes on github would help alot with the changelog questions.

Cherry pick list
* CyanogenMod's latest merges: http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/q/status:merged+branch:cm-11.0,n,z
* CyanogenMod's Github: http://github.com/cyanogenmod
This is a kang of CM11 with cherry picks from CyanogenMod’s Gerrit Instance, compiled by a group of volunteers that enjoy learning about building CyanogenMod & Android in general. All credit goes to cyanogen, #teamdouche and the coders who submit to Gerrit. Thank you to @RyanMacG for providing Euroskank hosting.
These builds are bleeding-edge, most comparable to a nightly build, and are not meant for inexperienced users. Things will be broken and crash from time to time, you need to accept that this isn't stable by any means before flashing. Nandroid as often as possible.
How to post useful, informative bug reports:
Sometimes dev's actually check out our threads, or sometimes we have a good relationship with a dev or two. These bleeding-edge builds will have issues, and having good information on what's broken is great feedback before a feature is merged. Here are some good bug reporting tips:
* No bug reports while using custom kernels or add-ons:
CyangenMod's own bug reporting tool does not accept bug reports from people using non-stock kernels for a reason, so why should we? CM can merge changes causing custom kernels to break things until the kernel devs catch up. Therefore, please do not post any bug reports while using a custom kernel or add-on such as Xposed Framework. Post your issues with custom kernels in their own respective threads as they are the ones who need to play catch up. Any bug report posted in this thread should be while running CM's stock framework and kernel, as this prevents unnecessary clutter.
* Gapps are not a CM issue:
CyanogenMod is built to run without the assistance of Google's proprietary apps (gapps). Having issues with your Google account and syncing is a gapps issue, not a CM issue. Please do not post about any gapps related issues, just wipe data and try a different gapps package.
* Posting about the same bug every build:
Beating a dead horse with "bug X still isn't fixed" posts just adds unnecessary clutter and provides no help into actually fixing the issue. Some bugs take days to squash, some take weeks. Please don't report the same bug every time a build is uploaded.
* Logs:
Provide logcats when applicable. Use a service like Pastebin and put a link to the log in the post. Please do not post logs directly to the forum.
If these requests are too demanding, there's good news! CyanogenMod is open source, so please feel free to download the source code, compile your own builds volunteering your time and resources, then start a thread and run it however you see fit. All we simply ask is that people post good, reliable information that can be passed on to a developer that can actually do something with it, making CM a better product for everyone involved.

January 6th 2013
All the device specific blobs have been updated to TMo 4.1.1 versions. The biggest improvement has been in updating the "common" blobs to the XXDLK7 4.1.2 versions. With the kernel updates paired with the 4.1.2 blobs the UI is much smoother. Scrolling jitters should be completely squashed and 3D performance is finally where it should be. Unfortunately, the low call audio bug is still there for calls that you receive. That's on the list to be fixed but the UI jitters and poor 3D performance were really bugging me and took priority.

Root is not working with the deafult setup. You will need to flash a differnet kernel and the SuperSU package.
The current ROM isn't a "feature packed" rom - if you want lots of flashy things stay away for now
Changelog (23-10-2013):
=================
Cherry picked multiwindow. To use go to recent apps -> long press -> add to multiwindow. Pressing home clears.
All changes merged up until 22-10-2013.

Can you please write "a lot of exciting features" ? I really curious about that .

So just flashed this, first impressions? I think at this stage, it's a bare 4.3 rom, no add ons, no added features or anything.
Attached some screens.
UI scrolling is a bit laggy, comparing this to my stable setup of purity+fancy ext or even my vanir setup.
This will just get better in time, so let's all stay tuned, but for now, i flashed back my nandroid as this is too bare for me.

Same feeling, nothing special at all currently, almost pure stock.
The only thing I found is the status bar of lock screen is transparent.

[Galaxy Nexus]
Will omniROM builds be device independent or will device-specific features be added into it, I mean will it just be ported or will it be enhanced for best performance on the galaxy nexus?
You know if it's just ported it'll be just another AOSP ROM with tons of features but it may lag or slowdown like most ROMs, while if you look lately at ROMs like vanir or cataclysm they're so fast it's insane.
So the question is will omniROM be ported THEN optimized for the galaxy nexus or does it come enhanced already?
(tl;dr Idc about most features going away if the ROM stays at least as fast as vanir, convince me to switch xD)

That's ridiculous. The site keeps adding extra domain letters to the link. I downloaded it 5 times yesterday to be sure it was fixed. I tried a different fix this time so hopefully it sticks. FYI I never thought to look until now, but torch is still usable in drop tiles. You can add it as a quick setting by opening rom control/toggles. I have the option for app/widget torch fixed and it'll be in next build which will be posted in a day or two, but for now that options available.

When you initially flashed it, did you not pick up lte? I myself had to dirty flash it to pick up lte on two separate occasions, I figured it was just me having a p.o.s. Reboot into recovery, don't wipe , flash AOKP rom, flash gapps, and flash kernel if you want, and or/ reboot. You should pick up lte, if not let me know and we'll take the next route.

GrapheneROM is finally getting a thread! GrapheneROM started as a personal project, but gained a few users after I posted it to the CarbonROM Google + page.
What is it?
GrapheneROM is an opensource version of Android 4.4.4 based off of Carbon. The main goal is to optimize performance to get the best speed possible, though I have smaller goals such as adding/removing features, and fixing bugs.
OpenSource? Can I build my own?
Yes! Yes you can! I set up a build script based off of LiquidSmooth's and Illusion's to make the build process as simple and as bug free as possible. The source is available at http://www.github.com/GrapheneROM
I would like to help develop, can I join the team?
Also yes! Team Graphene is currently looking for members as the current 2 (a friend and I) are typically busy with school, and have little time after to work other than the weekends. We currently need someone who is good with java and someone who can help with compiling toolchains and custom plugins for gradle, maven and the like. We also would like more Device maintainers to help spread the Graphene love to other forums.
Enough Mumbo-jumbo. What makes GrapheneROM different than Carbon?
Ill give it to you in bullet points so I don't bore you.
-ROM compiled with SaberMod 4.8 for speed responsiveness
-Kernel compiled with SaberMod 4.10
-Uses JustArchi's ArchiDroid Optimizations which include:
* 03 compilation
* Increased smoothness
* Increased speed
* Increased Responsiveness
* Up to 6x better performance
- Bug fixes
Changes to come:
-Linaro 4.9 instead of SM4.8
-Optimized BMS kernel by default
-Heads up and floating window
-Linaro 4.8.3 Host GCC
-Custom Gradle plugin (Thanks to AOSPAL)
STOP TALKING JUST GIVE ME THE F***ING ROM ALREADY
Fine. Don't read this. Just remeber if you break your device it's not my, nor anyone else's fault. (shameless disclaimer)

I have a new version compiling right now, but I wanted to get this posted and I didnt have the patience to wait for the build to finish, so I posted this. It's the same rom, but It was built a few days ago and won't have the newest optimizations or code. You can download it and use it just fine, but it would be wise to wait for the new build in about and hour.
New build up!
Nice. Which gapps do you recommend? Any screenshots?

why the duplicate .apk/.odex ? (I deleted all the .odex)
@jorv976 = I used the DU TBO Gapps and everything "looks" like CarbonROM
I've only been running it for less than an hour so far (I did flash latest DKP kernel though)

The ROM is odexed because apps load faster when they have odex files, and you only need deodexed if you plan on modding apps a lot. And yeah, everything will look like carbon until I get around to changing it.
Camera video is not working.
Is this available for i9300 sorry for bothering looking awesome ROM!!!!!

Lost 4G
This ROM is awesome. I did a clean install yesterday and had great battery life. I turned on my phone this morning and my 4G is gone. Any ideas what happened or how to fix it?
thanks

Hmm. I reflashed, switched to dalvik, and I'm having this problem. I thought i fixed this weeks ago. Ill work on it, but I have this problem with some newer carbon nightlies as well.

Try rebooting it, and if that doesn't work try wiping cache and dalvik.

Have you tried flashing the APN fix? Any time I've had that problem with an AOSP ROM that fixes it for me. Though I'm on Boost. There is one for VM as well, dunno who your provider is.

Mediafire not allowing DL
I've been trying to download the ROM to give a run...sounds really good....but MediaFire's not letting me DL it. Is anyone else having issues with Captcha or am I the only one?
