M8: Requesting info on interface elements that no review sites cover - One (M8) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

As the title says, sometimes I wonder why review sites miss out covering the most basic elements of a phone's interface. It's inexplicable. I've scoured websites for this information, and I've kind of found out a few of them, but no one site has it all and it would be a great help to me to decide on this phone, and maybe for others as well.
Requesting screenshots for the following:
Incoming call screen with contact picture (before answering)
Incoming call screen without contact picture (before answering)
Outgoing call screen (before answering)
Ongoing call screen with contact picture
Ongoing call screen without contact picture
Missed calls / messages notifications on the lockscreen
Thanks for obliging!

BUMP!

Here are a few of the screens you requested.
The ones WITH Caller ID would just put the contact image in place of the blank one.

EDIT: Also, I believe that missed calls that HAVE an ID will show up on the lockscreen, and not just the status bar. I just don't have a second phone to confirm that with right now.

Thank you so much for that!!
So the picture size is going to be pretty small then for caller ID.

Empty Caller ID bubble

Sometimes when my phone rings, I get an empty caller ID bubble. It doesn't show anything, just the ringing phone graphic, and the 2 Reject and Answer buttons. But afterwards, I can see the number in the call log. Anyone know what this means?
read this it may help
try this

My problem is different. In that thread, the initiator mentions that he gets the number, but not the name. In my case, all I get is an empty bubble. NO NUMBER and NO NAME. It happens only occasionaly. And it happens with numbers that are in my phonebook, as well as numbers that aren't. I hope I have made myself clear now.

WM6.1 official rom upgrade - call history / call log filter bug in today screen

Hey all,
Im a long time user of the forums but havent posted anything yet. Anyway, ive been seeing this issue on some other forums and after massive searching cant find a fix.
I just got the official upgrade to WM6.1 on my sprint HTC Touch. PRIOR to 6.1 the "main" today screen showed a missed calls link (icon is a phone with a "!"), which by default listed an entire call history - missed calls, received calls, and outgoing calls. AFTER upgrading to 6.1 the same button now only lists missed calls. there is a menu button which contains a filter, and the ability to switch to "all calls". the only problem is, this filter doesnt stick. after closing it and reopening it reverts back to only showing missed calls. This is a huge pain in my arse as I used that button almost every time i use my phone. (redials, sending texts, getting numbers, etc)
As far as my options on alternatives goes, this is what I know:
1. I know you can open the "phone" dial screen and access a full call history. (this is ok, but I really want a quick one touch access!)
2. I found the callhistory.exe floating around on here, got it set up in my programs and mapped it to the camera softkey. (also a pain because I had all my soft keys mapped to other things, and i tend to hold my phone in my right hand making it annoying to hit)
I would really LOVE to know if there is a way to get that "missed calls" key on the today screen to show the entire call history like it used to do!!!!! (or at least add/change another button on the main today screen to access call history)
I may just be screwed, but if anyone can figure it out I know xda-devs can. Any help would be appreciated.
p.s. If other people are seeing this thread and are in the same spot, and want to know how to set up callhistory.exe to map to a softkey let me know, and ill post those details on that temporary alternative.

I have the same problem on my Xperia. Does anyone have a solution?
Why dont you try this little app, dont remember where i got it from but very handy. It creates a short cut for your call history in the Programs section.Hope this helps.
has anyone come up with solution for this annoying bug that filter selection in Call History from Today screen does not stick and defaults to Missed Calls only?

Contact pictures not showing when phone rings

When the phone rings I get a notification on the moto 360 but even though I have the contact picture showing on the phone the watch is showing a grey image that you get when you don't have a picture for the contact.
What's worth mentioning is I see the contact pictures when there's a missed call or a text but not when phone is ringing.
Is that the case for everyone?

Mine acts the same. I'm pretty sure when I had a Gear Live it did that too. Hopefully this will be fixed in AW 2.0

This is how mine acts too. No image while getting the call. Shows image in missed call notification. Am i missing any setting here ?
Mine shows the contact pics just fine... there's a delay for a second or so after the phone rings, but it shows up for me.
Do you have the latest Moto update installed?

Large Contact Screen After Hanging Up Call?

How do I get rid of this? If it's the setting to show conversation history, I kind of like that part...

Incoming call notification bug?

I'm running the Eragon v6.7 rom - fantastic work by Skeleton.
I use the Elephone smart view cover and have 2 SIM's fitted.
I've become aware of what may be a small (but inconvenient) bug and wonder if anyone else has experienced this...
Phone is in standby and the screen is off.
Incoming call is received and phone rings. Display remains off - i.e. nothing visible in the round clock window.
I open the cover - display wakes up but still no call is displayed.
I unlock the screen using the fingerprint scanner.
When screen unlocked the incoming call is shown in the notification area at the top of the screen.
Should not the incoming call wake the phone and enable me to see which SIM and from whom the call is from?
Is there a setting somewhere I'm missing?
Does anyone running a stock ROM know if the issue/problem is there also?
By the way, if the screen is still active, i.e. the clock is visible in the smart view case window then the incoming call displays showing caller and which SIM.
Any comments appreciated.
Thanks
Mike
