Need Help with Samsung Galaxy Tab SM-T211 Pit File - Galaxy Tab 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Dear Friends,
I desperately need help to get my SGT SM-T211 to get to work. I recently flashed the stock rom to my device using ODIN 3.07 but accidently ticked the "Erase All Nand " and my device is now stuck on the Samsung startup swirl without booting into the system. After reading the web solutions I kinda figured out that I need to attach a .pitfile to restore the partitions. If anyone of you could help me with instructions or direct me to any links with the solution I will be very grateful.
Thank you in advance.

Are you sure that you are flacher The right Firmware version?
Have you uncheck The repartion in Odin ?
If not then you need The Pit.file.
1. Can you Boot into The recovery? If yes than male a factory reset.
2. Try again ,and flash The Stockfirmware with Odin.

The tablet is stuck on the Samsung Screen with the Samsung Logo continuously illuminating without booting into the home screen.
How can I get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 &.0 SM-T211 into fastboot mode? Is it Power + Volume down + Home keys?
Appreciate any help on this because I really miss my tablet.

Yes, thats are the buttons to into dowmload mode

I've attached the Tab 3 7.0 PIT file, I believe it's universal between T210 & T211.
Try flashing your Stock ROM without it first, if that doesn't work try with the PIT.
I obtained it from a Stock T211 ROM archive, just unzip it to get the file to use with Odin.

[Q] Stuck at boot

Please advise what should I do now,
My N5100 stuck at boot, the part where is shows "Samsung GALAXY Note 8.0 GT-N5100", it just stuck there and not boot.
I tried boot into recovery and reset still no use.
I can boot into Download mode as well as PhilZ Touch Recovery though.
What should I flash using Odin to make my Note 8 back to normal again?
Really thanks alot for the guide.

I have been able to get passed the lockup by holding the up volume button after powering on.
keep it held until you get to the lock screen. About a 2 minute wait.

I have had similar. For me it just reboots into the custom recovery all the time.
One way would be to flash a new ROM using Android Toolkit

Hi, this happened to me once and what I did is quite drastic, but I flashed a new ROM, as other methods for me simply didn't work ... the time it took to redownload my apps and set up the note 8.0 was minimal compared to the frustration I was having with note 8.0.
I put a rom (omni rom in my case, or you could use whatever you want such as a backup of your old rom) on my sdcard and just flashed it using my recovery (which is twrp, and which I could boot into). Since you can boot into PhilZ recovery, this method might work if you want to do it.
One last thing, the title of my reply mentions the android toolkit (which is now the skipsoft unified android toolkit). I did not have a rom on my device, so I used the toolkit to put a zip file of a rom on my device.
Hope this helps,

Download Odin, get the stock rom from http://www.sammobile.com
Boot into download mode, power button, volume down and the home button
Click continue, start Odin, now is the time to connect the tablet to your pc
Uncheck reboot on the left side
Click on pda, the file you downloaded from sam mobile is a zip file, open it to reveal the md5 file, place the md5 file on the desktop so it's easy to find
It should recognize the file in Odin and once it's done it should say succeeded 1
Then unplug the cord and reboot your tablet if it already hasn't done so. Holding down the power button until it turns off should do the trick. Any questions feel free to post here

You could have rooted it with 'Towelroot' if you do not have newer kitkat version in your tab.
If you can get into 'Recovery mode', then do a factory reset/wipe cache/wipe dalvik.
If you cannot into recovery mode then reinstall stock samsung firmware for your region.
Download firmware here:
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/
http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=SM-P605
Hi, i have had the same trouble.
You have to try to put back the device in download mode (you may have to try few times before you succeed).
Once you are in download mode follow these steps:
1. Re-install original 4.4 stock firmware with odin.
2. Reboot the device and wait until the reboot process finish and the device starts.
3. Put back the device in download mode.
4. Use again Odin to install cf-autoroot file (ATTENTION: in your P605 device with kitkat you need to use the autoroot file made for the P905 device or it will brick again).
5. Make a factory reset.
6. Enjoy your rooted device.
I hope it's clear enough.
Joe
Thank you

Downloaded another firmware from sammobile, it had the tar.md5 in it and now my tablet is working again!

Odin 3 auto re-boot - STUCK on reboot screen. Help!

I've been having some issues keeping my Tab Pro 8.4 rooted. It doesn't seem to want to stay rooted after rooting.
I installed CM13 on the device about a week ago and its been buggy as hell. I went to install CM13 updates and for that root had been lost again. When I try to reroot (using the guides provided) Odin3 works fine until the tablet tries to re-boot. At that point it gets stuck on the reboot screen and goes no further. I can't flash anything or get the device to get past that re-boot screen.
Any advice?

if you are losing root by upgrading your rom, all you should have to do is flash supersu zip via custom recovery after your rom upgrade
try holding vol - and power till you see a glip in the screen at samsung splash and let go this should take you to your custom recovery.
if that doesn't work you will need
to fix your current issue, you will want to download your stock firmware, push via odin3 (let tab fully boot) then push your custom recovery via odin3.
if your custom recovery worked with vol - and power just start here
then flash your cm13 rom, gapps, then the supersu zip
@AustinTech
get it fixed?
also holding vol+ and power takes you to download mode for odin

How do I push the stock firmware via odin3? I can get into download mode and then run odin3 but I'm not sure how to push firmware through the program. I'd also need to find the stock firmware.
Sorry if these are basic questions, but I'm not all that familiar with rooting. This is only my second device. And thanks for your help!

go to www.sammobile.com and go to firmware. then type in sm-T*** in the search bar(I believe your device is sm-t320). search then download your firmware based on your country. cellular south is US
open the zip with 7zip or winrar and extract the .tar.md5 file
after you download this go to download mode on your tab
then plug in via usb to pc make sure the com light turns green in odin
then run odin 3
click AP button
select the .tar.md5 file
wait for it to load
then press start and wait for about 20 min until your tablet reboots to the origonal setup
everything will be stock like when you bought it @ this point you will have to redo everything you did when you bought it to regain root and custom recovery

Where did you get you firmware? I tried sammobile.com but the download was took 12 hours and both times gave me corrupt files.
I went to a different site and downloaded what I thought was the correct firmware but since there is no .tar.md5 file in the extracted files I'm thinking no...
Alright, sammobile is downloading a bit faster now so maybe in 2 hours I'll have the correct firmware. I think the site I used earlier was crap.
I educated myself on what a .tar.md5 file is as well and I think I'll be set once I have the firmware.

Yeah sammobile was pretty slow for me too. Just make sure you have your tab!et in download mode before you connect it to the computer.
if you still have problems with sammobile you can download the firmware from the samsung servers with the tool SamFirm
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s/general/tool-samfirm-samsung-firmware-t2988647
also in regards to your first post, CM13 has built in root, you don't need to manually root it, if you are then that's why it's breaking to enable root in cm13 go to settings -> developer options - > root access (then select apps, adb) this setting will persist over all future flashes, to enable developer options go to Settings -> about tablet and tap the build number 5 or 6 times to enable the option.

Same problem with my AT&T SM-T707. Help!
When you're booting into download mode, just press volume down to restart the tablet. Then you need to be quick: before the boot screen appears you need to press Power + Volume up + Home to boot into recovery. If it does not work the first time, just try again.
Best, maris
First, superbrick was only a term used during an EMMC bug for the S2 and Note.
second, you can use Odin to reflash the stock firmware. As long as you can access Download mode, it's an easy fix.

This may seem too simple, but have you tried using a different USB cable/USB port? NO USB HUBS.
Odin is VERY sensitive to ports/cables.
