I have a note 3 that is having issues with the sound. Once a day all my sounds will stop working and I have to do a battery pull to get them back. This started happening after the KitKat update. Any ideas what might be causing this and are the any fixes???? Thanks in advance.

For the last couple of days I've noticed my notifications have been short (not playing completely). Today my music list just popped up and started playing random music. I have never even used the music player on this phone. It's been acting so strange lately. Anyone else having theses sort of problems?? I did a factory reset which corrected the problem for now. Got my fingers crossed that it won't happen again....

Need more info about your setup (ROM and Kernal), and no, my phone doesn't do that...

I also have the short notifications every now and then but its not really bothering me as it doesn't happen extremely often...maybe once or twice a day, if that much

Text message limit is being hit and deleting messages and playing tone at same time which is causing it to cut the tone short. Annoying, I know.
Im having an issue with my bluetooth headphones where they will play audio for a couple minutes then the phone will freeze and sound will stop. It has no issues with calls and ive tried several different music apps and roms all with the same issue. Does anyone else have this or have a way to fix this? Also ive replaces my e4gt and the headphones twice

I've had this problem and have no clue on how to fix it, I've never tried with AOSP though(my headset broke before I could).

Ive never been able to get an aosp rom to run smoothly on my phone, always run into issues so I haven't tried it either

I have been having this issue since I got my Note 3 last week. It happens no matter what rom I am using.
My Note has a lag when going from portrtait to landscape when I turn the device. The lag is about 3 seconds and is very annoying. Does anyone else have this issue? Is it just the way it is or is there a adjustment in the settings I do not see? Like I said it happens no matter what rom I am running even stock.

My stock rooted Note 3 does not have a lag switching. Might be you have some app that is causing the issue.
Yep, rooted stock on mine is maybe half a second.
Turn off the 'smart rotation' feature. I did this and it solved my issue.

Yup this would do it. Had the same happened to my s4 when I had it on. It checks to see your head orientation prior to changing.

So for some odd reason in getting HORRIBLE battery drain. Literally lost 40% in 35minutes. It happened out of nowhere and idk what to do. I disabled GPS, deleted all the apps that I recently downloaded. It's still happening and was wondering if anyone else is suffering from this.

I get this, i'm still trying to see what's causing it but i've found 2 things:
- It stops when i'm not connected to wifi
- Its a known kitkat bug
Hope somebody can tell me what os process is calling this process but you'll get a lot of discussions if you google sensors.qcom drain.

Yeah I did Google and did see quite a few discussions on it. I have been through many phones and this is the first one that has a major flaw in regards to wake lock. I reduced the wake locks by disabling Google Now but I use that daily and can't love without it. I don't know what to do at this point.

My moto 360 has a mind of its own, sometimes notifications work and sometimes they don't. Tried reset and restart watch. Sometimes it helps but few days later its back. I know this an known problem but not finding a resolve.
