How do I whitelist a Widget (T2T)? - Galaxy Note 8.0 (Tablet) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooti

Hello!
I use Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 4G as a phone, and I have a timer for the calls called T2T.
It works just fine BUT every time I use the Advanced Task Killer it also kills the widget and resets the minutes in the app!
I cannot find anyhwere how to add this app to a Whitelist / ignore list as only programmes (not widgets) can be found in Advanced Task Killer settings.
How do I include widgets in task-killer whitelist/ ignore list?
Thank you!

[Q] What's a good alternative to the Samsung "Program Monitor" widget?

I like the concept of the program monitor because I can see if left anything running. I'm obsessed with closing apps when I'm not using them.
What I dont like about it is that it needlessly takes up 2x1 units of space. Is there a good 1x1 widget that does the same thing? I dont want to have to enter a task killer just to see the list of running apps, I just want a number in a widget that shows how many... If it's not 0 I can click it.
hi
Systempanel bij nextapp must have!
That app's not bad. But the widget part is butt ugly and just allows you to kill everything. It's close to what I want but I like the the program monitor's number of foreground apps displayed.
Visual Task Switcher is not perfect but sorta gives me what I want but extending the home menu functionality and showing active windows as popups.

Unfortunately, only the beta available for try now. The ads supported version should be available soon.
Search for active apps on xda and you will find one.

Task Manager - what are you doing...?

Hi,
I've noticed I can't use such apps as JuiceDefender ultimate, PhoneLocator Pro or anything that is a background service etc
1 click on 'clear all' in HTC's own Task Manager App & they are gone.
Sure, I understand it says clear 'all' but this is badddd news.
I also understand its probably due to HTC's change in multi tasking.
However, regarding the In-built task manager app,
Other phones I've had only show regular apps that don't automatically start as a background service, HTC's task manager is clearing Everything.
What are people doing to work around this?

Help!!!! Alarm is useless! It just doesn't go off!!!

Hi. I have a gt7100 and the stock alarm is abysmal. I have to use the stock because it is the only one that works past my lock screen.
Just to clarify - It doesn't activate itself, so It fails to come on. Hence I've gotten up very late on a couple of occasions.
It is definitely on, and is set to repeat every week....
It does work if you set it for 1 minute later and just wait, but if you leave it, something happens which makes it not go off.
Somebody was saying something about programs that could cause this, but I don't have ANY lock screen widgets..... Is that even possible? I don't have widget locker installed.
The programs/services that were running last night / shown by Wheres my droid power (app). This was a long 2 minutes.

Please help as I just got my old iPhone 4 to use as my alarm (Airplane Mode). Really want to get this problem fixed. Can't stand using the iPhone as my alarm.
Also my phone is on stock Touch Wiz 4.1.1 - Rooted. And I use Nova Launcher Prime 2.0
It's understandable why some people just stick with basic iPhones now!
Has nobody experienced this sort of issue? Alarm has always gone off?

[Q] Task from action memo to Remember the Milk?

Can someone help me with how you might sync a task recorded using the s pen in action memo with remember the milk? where do tasks / to dos get recorded from action memos?
I use both MS Exchange and Remember the Milk for tasks, however I can't work out how tasks created in action memo sync to these systems.
thanks!
I share mine with EverNote, but it probably works the same, so when you are in the action note You can tap on the list looking icon at the upper right to open your action notes. Use the menu button to bring up a ''share" option. Select one or more notes to share then done and a list of apps to share with appears. Just pick one, and that's it.

thanks, appreciate the info. it looks like the tasks created under action memo are being sent to "My Tasks" (default task location), not my MS Exchange task list. What I am trying to work out is how to change the default from "My Tasks" to another task list, whether Exchange or gmail.

Samsung decided to remove the option to hide apps in the app drawer,
replacing it with an uninstall/disable feature instead.
Before, with the hide feature, you could simply hide third-party apps
that were barely used or that you didn't want others to see.
Now, you can only completely get rid of them.
I did this for the bloatware apps that couldn't be uninstalled, but also for some of the apps which I only use when traveling overseas which isn't more than once or twice a year. Guess need to wait and see how this new security works
Thanks dkb218
You can just disable packets and that is for all apps no root needed just pc or a paid app
If you disable them they won't show up in the drawer, but then again you won't get any notifications or messages until you enable it again. I think something like any package Disabler will work this way.
Add app to the secure folder and uninstall it from the app drawer.
