Hi - I have bought an AT&T S4 with the following version:
4.2.2
I337UCUAMDL
I did the XDA method for unlock, it worked great. Then did super root and it worked, also installed TWRP. I've also done the AWS band unlock.
Now, the biggest challenge, which rom do I install for the stock T-mobile features? Mainly I just want a stable rom with T-mobile wifi calling.
I would appreciate the help.
Thanks!
I've heard people flash wicked on the att s4. Version 9.1 just came out:

AT&T 1337 wifi calling no.
Any of the ROM base on T-Mobile firmware will work. Wicked or Infamous probably the two most popular.

Thanks, I'll look into it, hopefully someone will have a stock type t-mobile rom soon

What do you mean? In the Development section there are plain ole rooted/stock and modified stock T-Mo ROMs with WiFi calling. Based on MDB, MDL, and MK2 now; you may have to dig a little farther than page 1 for the MDB/MDL bases, but they're there.

I am open to correction, but I was under the impression all those roms would work on the 1337 but wifi calling would only function on the M919 variation.

You are absolutely right, what's needed is:
1: AT&T Unlocked Phone
2: Tmobile Sim Card
3: Any Tmobile rom which is based on Samsung 4.2.2 or 4.3 Jellybean firmware.(rom)
Anyone who meets these three criterias can have wifi calling.
Thank you, that is what i needed to know.
Now, I just need to find a reliable T-mobile rom. If anyone has thread links or a name of the rom, please let me know.
I'll see if there is a stock T-mobile rom available that can be flashed on a rooted AT&T phone with 4.2.2 (MK2)

You keep asking but the question has been answered three times... Post number two and four list the roms you should be using. Post number six tells you where to get the stock rom, If for some odd reason you want a slow bloated stock rom (why?)
moving ATT s4 on MK2 baseband to T-Mobile?
Thank you for this thread...
Can someone explain how having an ATT Galaxy s4 MK2 baseband will limit the installation of T-Mobile ROMs?
Or if it actually doesn't? I understand (from ATT threads) that being on MK2 means I must use specific ROMs compatible with SafeStrap.
Do limitations arise from the MK2 bootloader, and not the MK2 modem? Are the two separate?
I'm lost with how this impacts my use of T-Mobile ROMs and appreciate any elaboration on the topic. Thank you kindly
I have a Tmobile Note 3 SM-N900T and I would like to know if I can flash note 3 international SM-N9005 Stock rom on my device.
Will this brick my device?
I believe it depends on the rom. Some devs list the models it can work with. Also only the devil of rom knows what tinkering they have done. You will loose Wi-Fi calling
TWEAKED 1.0 NOTE 3
Thanks for the reply! I am aware that both phones have the same hardware. So can I just flash the LTE international note 3 stock rom firmware on to my tmobile version? I don't want custom roms, so I was wondering if flashing stock rom would work.

Thought so, hey man since you flashed almost all international roms the ones that don't have aroma or manually install the international kernel, my question is even tho it flashes an international kernel while the rom installs it won't brick my note unless I boot up? After flashing rom right away uncheck reboot at the end of aroma(if any) then flash kernel/wifi>gps>bluetooth fix? All should be gravy?

Does knox gets tripped by flashing a N9005 rom on the N900T? Or the N900T modem/kernel afterwards?

on new bootloader, you can use stock kernel with wifi working.
Otherwise, if still on old bootloader (4.1.2), have to use custom kernel (devil & agni at the moment).
But with new bootloader, it will come with KNOX issue, which I believe so far I read, none of the solution apply for N7105 LTE once it is tripped.
I'm still on the old bootloader. Easier for me to flash back 4.1.2 if needed or to get back to status normal to claim warranty. hahaha.
as for note 3.... To be frank, I haven't done anything yet. Still on its original stock + kernel, no root.
It is on MJ7, and not yet find a good way to root it.

as for Note 3, I guess I m doomed as I have upgraded to MJ7, which I read using Root De La Vega will trip the KNOX as well on this version of firmware. hahaha.
And CF root also the same.
Guess if I want to root I have to live with that damn tripping KNOX

Hi @ricky310711 and @SkywalkerZ,
I have been following the SmartDroid / Revolutionary S5 ROM in the Galaxy S3 development. Good work from the dev and I see that there is a large following.
Any plans with a similar development to Note 2 community?

Hey guys, I now it's waaaaay too soon. But I'm on ATT and have not followed TMO, so maybe you're aware of some semi-solid rumors that I don't know about?
Do you think the TMO Note 4 will be rooted as quickly as the TMO S5, and also have recovery capability like the S5?
ATT S5's and recent Note 3's still don't have recovery options.
I'm switching to TMO for the Note 4 if TMO is still root friendly at that time.

Because with Safe strap, you're able to install zips like you can on a normal recovery.
No its not the best that's out there but it works for some I guess.
Safestrap work just like a custom recovery except it does not support aroma or kernal instalation but besides that it can do everything a custom recovery can no aosp unfortionatly but most custom tw roms are pretty good

Not sure, mine came factory unlocked for use on any network.
There's a post in the general section that covers permanent unlock, you might read through it.
Yes. Unlock, install custom recovery, flash SU binaries, boot, install super SU.
The unfortunate part is most links on XDA for some of that are dead. Need to search Google.
Also, good to Odin flash 4.1.2 first and make sure it works. Then recovery, root, etc.
