[Q] Updating Cyanogenmod 10.1 to 11 - Samsung Galaxy W I8150

I was trying to update my Samsung Galaxy W i8150 from Cyanogenmod 10.1 to 11 but it say,
E: Short write of /tmp/ sideload/ package.zip (No space left on device)
Installation aborted.
I've tried to use ROM Manager but it will just reboot and do nothing.
I've done already the rooting and partition but still the same...
Please Help!

Hello ..... I'm trying to install CyanogenMod ROM on My 10.1 2 N7100 Galaxy Note previously and I am root and I followed all the steps you need to do for the installation, but when I'm in recovery mode and give it to install the file from the SD few seconds later I get the following error ..

E: signature verification failed
Installation aborted.
My menu is so different that last part where it says: "Installation aborted", does not appear.
Maybe I have not installed the Recovery Version required for this installation, because even in the menu options do not appear as I have seen in other tutorials, for example:
The option "ADVANCE" to Wipe Dalvik Cache do
if anyone has answers I would be very grateful,
Greetings and thanks in advance

Other Problem
Great, now I have a recovery with more options but when I'm going to give intalacion run the Zip .. gives me following warning:
"This operation may install incompatible
software and render your device unusable"
Folder:
/sdcard
File to flash:
cm-10.1-201302718-NIGHTLY-n7100.zip
Press back to cancel adding this zip.
Common options and selectable:
zip file signature verification

Try downloading and install this file perhaps http://get.cm/get/jenkins/20580/cm-10.1-20130219-NIGHTLY-n7100.zip
Note** the above is a different version of yours which it is: cm-10.1-201302718-NIGHTLY-n7100
Or you can simply try redownloading your own file again.
Flash twrp 2.4.1.0 via odin.

CWM errors
Hi,
Thanks for the great instructions! I followed them precisely but as I boot to the recovery mode (power+T) I get the following errors nor any commands work in CWM. I even tried to flash the CWM with ODIN again.
CWM-based recovery v.5.0.2.7
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/Command
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/log
E: Can't open /cache/recovery/log
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/last_log
E: Can't open /cache/recovery/last_log
Please note that I had a stock Samsung Galaxy GT-I5510 with Android 2.3.6. So I have not rooted my phone in any way. Should I? How can I do it? Thank you for your support!
P.S. As I will get the CWM Recovery to work I will flash CyanogenMod 10.2.

You want to put SD card with CyanogenMod 10.2 and gapps to your phone, then choose option install wipe data/factory reset, install zip from SD card and choose .zip file containing CyanogenMod 10.2, and then install gapps and restart the phone.
Phone doesn't reboot
Hi,
I hope anybody reads this.
I downloaded the .tar.md5 files and proceeded with the instructions.
Though Odin tells me that it's flashing the telephone this is the last message of the log "<1> Close serial port and wait until rebooting."
And nothing happens afterwards. I can only see that the phone switches on again, but the screen stays dark.
Can you help me with anything? I already spent hours because i just tried to get a custom recovery on the phone because I couldn't install CyanogenMod from the SD card.

Which version of odin are you using?
Hi,
It's 4.43
I also started it as administrator and tried different USB-Ports.
What does the .ops file contain? Some register adresses?

Try odin 4.34.
.ops file contains partition table of your phone.
So first I flashed the stock firmware back again to be safe that at least it's still working. That was successful.
Ok I forgot to install the GB bootloader, I didn't mention this. But from the links of the first page none is working anymore.
Can you provide me one?
Also now I can't get into the stock recovery anymore with "T + Power".

[Q] CM 10.1 won't auto update on CWMRTouch 6.0.2.7

I have a Galaxy SII I727 on CM 10.1 20130403 nightly and CWMRTouch 6.0.2.7 14.4.6 and it can update itself going into recovery without any input after selecting it from the settings menu.
My wife just got her Galaxy SII T989D today. I flashed the exact same version of CWMRTouch (for Hercules) on her phone 6.0.2.7 14.4.6 and flashed CM 10.1 20130402 and gapps.
I tried testing the auto update feature, but it shows an error in recovery and stops.
Code:
E:failed to mount exfat /dev/block/mmcblk1 /sdcard
E:Can't mount /sdcard/cmupdater/cm-10.1-20130403-NIGHTLY-hercules.zip
Installation aborted.
Is there a way to get it working?
Does it just need an SD card or something?
Bump?
lol nobody has a clue.

[Q] Xperia S, STORAGE MOUNT problem

Hello everybody!
After successfully flashing XPERIA S with official (stable) cyanogenmod 9.1.0, I have decided to try cyanogenmod 10. After non-successfull instalation (assert failed - status 7) I decided to try 9.1.0 again but it was not working anymore (got stuck at boot animation). After reinstalling 9.1.0, I've tried to install 9.0.0 and after successfull installation I was stuck with FreeXperia logo. After that, every atempt to install any of those versions failed with status 7. At this point I could have entered phone storage and mount it on my pc (and create a whole backup using linux 'dd' command), but after next boot into clockworkmod, I was not able to mount storage anymore (I've tried it on both linux and windows). I can flash the device with fastboot and enter clockworkmod without any problems, but cannot do anything else.
Has anyone had similar problems? How can I mount the device storage on my pc again? I would appreciate if someone could help me solve this problem.
Thanks.
i would reccomend
1) Reflash to stock everthing
2) Reinstall Cyanogenmod with whatever steps necessary

assert failed is a different issue. Open cm 10.1 package on your pc and go to meta-inf.go to com>google>updater script. Open with notepad++ and delete the first line
assert failed: getprop("ro.product.device") == "nozomi" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "nozomi" something like this. and before this did you clear dalvik cache and cache and data after installing 9.1.0 or 9.0.0?

[Q] Unable to install Cyanogenmod as custom Rom with CWM

Hi folks,
I'm a fairphone 1 1st edition (repartitioned with 1.6 update) owner and i have been eagerly waiting for cyanogenmod for quite a while. I saw this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2615613 and followed the installation instructions.
Procedure:
1) [Install MTK 6589 driver][1]
2) Install + Open up [MTK Droid Root & Tools v. 2.5.3][2]
3) Root phone in MTK Droid Root & Tools
4) Backup phone with MTK Droid Root & Tools
5) Download [Recovery Image][3] (KitKat) and follow [installation instructions][4]:
a) copy the recovery to the device: adb push cwm-fp1-kk.0.1.img /storage/sdcard1
b) adb into device: adb shell
c) flash to recovery: dd if=/storage/sdcard1/cwm-fp1-kk.0.1.img of=/dev/recovery
6) Reboot into Recovery with [Rom Manager 6.6.3.7 ][5]
7) Select [zip file][6] from sd card and install
Error message: Can't install this package on top of incompatible data. Please try another package or run a factory reset. E: Error in /storage/sdcard1/cm-11_FP1-ota-UNOFFICIAL-FULLOFBUGS-0.1.zip
(Status 7)
Installation aborted.
I also deleted the assert line in the updater-script file and updated the zip file, as during the installation Error Status 7 showed up (see this [site][7]).
Still installation aborts, this time no error message is given. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I had the same error message try first formatting the system partition.
I think that you need to "wipe data" in cwm before flashing when you install for the first time.
