Found a new Asian Foryo realese DXJP1. The people in chinese forum Kingmobi and BBS says its oficiell. I dont now. It seems to be a test firmware because it has to extra icons in it called spare parts and dev tools and when i click them it opens some testing menu with several options (among them Accounts tester, bad behavior, connectivity, development settings, package browser etc.
It works really well not much lag in touchwiz and it feels very responsive.
Download link: http://www.multiupload.com/OVRO768IU0

I also see ZWJP1, ZSJP2, ZSJP3, ZSJP4 in that forum. According to Samsung's letter code, the second last alphabet represents month of year, but why we have P? isn't L for December?
Oh here we go again lol
Will give it a whirl, didnt personally like JPH or JPK been using JPC
see if this is any good . . .
I like to play with DevTools on this Firmware very handy

Yes it does, It matters what CSC is on the phone, and Where the phone came from. Meaning the Version of the phone we have will NEVER come to the USA . (Which is were I live) thus no software updates in the USA. Where my phone came from when they get the update I get the update.
Just plugged my 2 day old Xperia ZL into PC companion and its dowloading 10.1.A.1.434 to update...

Only 2mb so I wonder what changed?
i heard some ppl said that it would not let u unlock BL
^ You may be right. The member in the thread linked below claimed he had an unlockable bootloader and lost it after the 434 update. If you were planning on unlocking and flashing ROMs, you may want to wait until someone can confirm it.

EMUI 2.3 beta testing got pushed back a few days, it will appear soon to the closed beta testers and we will know if it comes with 4.4, if it does not, then we will probably not get 4.4 on our devices at all. Expected emui 2.3 launch is in march/april.

Huawei only cares about their little emotion ui to be honest. Going from 4.2.2 to 4.4 requires alot of extra work, so its easier to release a new emotion ui version than compile one based on new android version.
The new released B199 and Mate 2 comes with stock Android 4.3. So they are in a sense working on android upgrades too.
Is it possible to port the firmware of B199 (minus the kernel) to p6 ?
It is very simple. I'm satisfied with my P6, but if it doesn't get 4.4, I will NEVER buy anything from Huawei again. Today we have an option to choose.

Im certain p6 would get android 4.4. This android 4.4 news was made public by Richard Yu himself and highly improbable he would make a total bluff about it. P6 is their flagship phone even till today so attention to software upgrade would be there. Plus, if they dont plan to upgrade android, there is no reason why they haven't yet released the Emui2.0 at least, despite them doing beta tests on the P6 way back from august last year.
But yea i understand the frustrations and the total secrecy policy of Huawei gets really frustrating.

Whats the problem? Huawei said the update will come in January, it's not February yet. You can complain when it's February.
Coming from HTC One S it's pretty easy to say that Huawei is doing a great job with it's updates. It's pretty nice that i lost my One S while i was drunk and got P6 because it's so cheap and nice looking phone and the specs are awesome too. Kit Kat will come when it's due. Im totally happy with surdu_petru's CM 10.1.

What about theX9007 platform?
This is great news about a new, stable release, but everything says it is for the X9006 only. Myself and others have the X9007. I use my X9007 in Europe and the USA... and have no intention of using LTE in China. If I flash this, will I essentially have the X9006?
I am currently running the last X9006 beta that was OK to flash on the X9007. All my cell networks are working fine, including LTE. If I do this, will I need to perform a special modem flash for baseband... or only if I want a "Chinese" phone? Everything I have always heard is that both phones are exactly the same hardware.

If you are using the final build of the Android L KDZ then you'll be fine to flash it from any version as the KDZ contains all necessary files. @autoprime has confirmed on his twitter feed that this update does not implement anti-rollback so you should be fine to downgrade and Bump in the future if you want. Hope this helps!
But I'm not using the final build of Android... I'm asking if I can upgrade to lollipop, when it's officially out, instead updating to 10L and then update to Lollipop

I said the Lollipop update contains all necessary files. The final KDZ is what they will push when Android L gets officially updated on your device, or a TOT or .dpkg. You will not need to update in between as you never do inbetween major system updates. If an official update ever has dependencies, it will not let you update without them so don't worry. You would be able to jump from any version you like to Android L. Like I said though, we will have a ported version of Android L long before the official update. Also, although @autoprime has confirmed the release of Android L for the D855 does not implement anti-rollback, this does not mean that other variants will not implement something to keep us from going back to previous software versions, then you may be stuck with Android L but no root or TWRP permanently. I can not emphasize enough how much I do not agree with taking any official updates if you are the slightest bit interested in root or custom roms for you phone.
Also, you only get notified if someone directly quotes a post of yours or if you mention someone by username using @ like I did for @autoprime above.
If I've helped, hit the thanks button!

If you want to update officially with the KDZ, the best option is this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2799647
Just use the tool and official KDZ to ensure everything is wiped and completely updated.
There is already a rooted Android L .zip ready to flash via TWRP that is available in the General G3 Development thread. Good luck with either route.
Love you.
