Need Info for Freegee Update

All you pesky non American's I need some info from you.
Device (i.e tellus/rogers/korean S)
ro.lge.swversion=
Does current freegee boot.img work fine for you?
If the answer to #3 is no, please upload a boot.img for me.
For you e975 folks, support is coming, I'm reworking the entire backed to make future new device and version easier. Right now though I just need this info.

Works only on stock ROM right? Like the info that you want? Because I'm running SnowJB right now, which is an AT&T ROM.

Shellnutt said FG doesnt support korean 4.1.2 boot yet.
Also he said he can provide a steps (if really needed) and promised the support will be added in a week.

How is rom porting related to korean JB support in the freegee?
Ah, probably found the reason of misunderstood: I bought the freegee app (donate), the app still doesnt support korean JB at the moment.

Okay please read this carefully.
Freegee has gone under a near complete rewrite in order to make it easier to add support for new varients and software versions. It's now a very simply process for me and doesn't involve updating the app anymore. This also will allow me to add newer and better recovories.
That said this is a highly beta version. Lot of debugging code is still in there, I just need more people to test it. I've used it fine, but someone else soft bricked. I've tried to get people on irc to test so I can help in real time but alas I didn't get many offers at all. So I'm posting this here. Please though don't use this unless you know how to kdz/lgnpst back to stock. This might blow up your phone, until I get people to actually test it more than myself and skdubg did I can't know.

Edit: after unlock and reboot device the phone stay on LG Logo... I can not go into the recovery, F180K.

Thank you for specifying, 180L now has initial support for version F180L20L.
As far as not being able to unlock, I'd like to get a few more people to test it to make sure you aren't one of the special ones that need the sbl stack in addtion to new bootloader. That is what skdubg for his eu E975 needed.

Ok I'll wait for the next version.

I got a question for you, why would you want to use freegee if you already have bootloader unlocked ? Plus he clearly say non american in the OP, from what I know, AT&T is american. So, to answer clearly your question, NO, he doesnt need your info.

Hi guys, I'd like to know what's the best 4.3 ROM for my Note 2, I'd like to install one that includes all the features from the Note 3, but without many custom apps installed as well, I mean I'm looking a clean 4.3 ROM, but with the Note 3 features, what would you recommend? thank you!

Everyone has modded 4.3. To get what you want you would have to build yourself. Or maybe install leaked version, (open asia newest) and install n3 apps.....
We should see official really really soon so just hold out.

According to rumors, when are youg going to receive the 4.3 update in your country? I'm in Central America, so I'm not really hopeful about seeing it soon...by the way, If I'm rooted, I won't get the notification of the update, right? :S thanks!

I'm in the US so I don't have an update coming my way. I'm just going to use the U.K. or Asian version. The official will have multi language so you can Odin in any update you want.
As for being rooted, I think you will get the notification but it wont update.

It's my firs post, so forgive me if thread is in wrong place, and replace it if you can. Thank you.
So, ok...I've got N-5100 with original soft: 4.1.2 Android version, N5100XXBMC89 modem, XXBMD1 version number.
There was an update do 4.2.2 but not in my country (Poland). I know that I can make manual update, but my question is: is the 3g will be working? From which country should I choose an update?
Will be glad for ANY help.

Ok, my N5100 had the same modem/software as yours. I rooted with CF-Auto-Root: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2291839. Next, using odin, I flashed PhilZ Touch: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2552657 to get a custom recovery. Last, using PhilZ, I flashed this rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2407752.
Everything went very smooth. It was the easiest root and upgrade I have done. I ended up with stock-rooted 4.2.2. 3g works great on AT&T and phone reception is also very good.
Read the instructions in each of the forums and be careful that you download the correct files. For example, PhilZ has a file for the N5100 as well as the N5110.

Yeah, I'm just worried about this carrier stuff. My question is if the German version of software will be working with Polish 3g operators. But tomorrow is Sunday, I will have time to try your way. TY.

Thank you a lot! Everything seems to be OK.

Find 7 Color OS v2.0.10 INT_11 for x9007, but works on x9006 just fine!

If you want the newest version of Color OS v2, you'll have to use the x9007 version. It does have English as an option and all the menu items are in English. However, there are a lot of Chinese apps pre-installed on the phone as well now. It's probably best only to use this if you want a lot better performance, but don't run anything mission critical on your Find 7a.
Here is the ROM: http://pan.baidu.com/s/1gdHxnZd to be flashed only with Oppo Recovery.
You will need the latest version of Google Apps for 4.3, here. Which has to be installed with TWRP.
I did re-root my phone using the standard root afterwards (from the TWRP recovery) and all went well! Titanium Backup still doesn't restore, but Nandroid Manager does, if you need your text messages and WiFi hotspot settings back. Simply backup with TWRP first, then you can restore them!

Ok, but what is with LTE (4G), ?? The X9007 has other frequencies then the X9006. The 9007 has no Band 20 (800Mhz)

Hmm. The X9006 is the US variant of this phone. Unfortunately, the US version of the Find 7a isn't getting ColorOS updates as quickly. All we are doing is using the newer iterations of ColorOS, which have no problem addressing the X9006 hardware. Does that answer the question?

I've just made the switch, and right now I'm really, really happy with it. Other then the first startup, where EVERYTHING is Chinese, and the lack of alphabetically sorting apps on the default launcher, things are working perfectly. Battery life and performance are easily the best this phone has had thus far with this rom.
IMO, this is exactly how Oppo should have shipped the phone in the first place, albeit with Google Apps and the plethora of stuff us NA users like.
I can post a GDrive mirror asap, and exactly how I transitioned from the International Beta to Chinese Beta. Done.

I would also check and make sure that your APNs are properly in place. I know that they automatically got installed on mine, but since I am not in the US I cannot say the same for you.

The apn is the first thing I checked and it's perfectly fine, but I'm yet to flash the modem so I will update when I do so!

Great, please do. I was just looking, and my phone and carrier have a lot of the same frequencies as the Chinese model, so it's possible I just got very, very lucky. XD

x9007 was only a link to the x9006 dir, i removed it so please do this also.
I do this because X9006 and X9007 are similar and i would provide a international firmware mirror. Because X9006 (Find 7a( and X9076 (Find 7) would get merged i create a new dir: http://mirror.lucky.li/android/oppo/x90x6/ and x9006/x9076 are just links.
Also if i would mirror some X9007/X9077 files in future you would found it there: http://mirror.lucky.li/android/oppo/x90x6/firmware/cn/
This is the new x9007/firmware or x9077/firmware directory but to keep it clean without links. Maybe in future i will also delete x9006/x9076 links and only keep x90x6.

What I've found out about this Chinese ColorOS:
- Google Apps are gone - you can't even flash them via the original recovery
- Swype Full is gone - International ColorOS had it preinstalled completely free
- App drawer is gone - all app icons are being put on the homescreens
- You can't flash back to international ColorOS via the original recovery - 'Installation failed'
---> Solved this by installing it via System Update app (tested with Chinese ColorOS 2.0.14 -> ColorOS 1.2.1i)
+ Camera app - manual ISO control has been added, but track-focus seems not to work.
+ OTA is working

[Moto X Force] Marshmallow Rollout

Hello community, while googling for information about the release of Marshmallow for the X Force I found the Release Notes for the Update:

I guess they will start rolling it out in Brasil, so I wanted to ask, if anyone has the brazilian version and if anyone has the update yet?
I just got the phone and am really looking forward to Marshmallow, as 5.1.1 really feels like a downgrade coming from 6.0 on my Nexus 5.

As it seems, the Update is rolling out in Europe as of today.
If someone who has rooted his force would be so nice to provide the Update.zip I would be really grateful, as my device still has not got the Update notification and I'm not the patient type
It is stored in the /cache Folder and you can only read that folder with root priviliges.

Nice! Didn't expect Moto to get to it so quickly. Hopefully Verizon will be able to turn it around within a couple of months for us Turbo 2 users.

I don't know if it was an error.. but I got it and I its working really good. No bugs at the moment... and I feel that the battery is lasting a little bit when its idle.

Once, I try to install the Brazilian version in the mexican version of the moto maxx and it didn't work.. But you can try it.

Here in Brazil already had experience installing ota India and Australia and worked well. But as the friend reported that tried to install the Brazilian in Mexico cell phone and did not work'll wait a few more days to see if it comes out the version of Brazil. If you install this version of Mexico in a cell with version EU think it should work

I tried to install the mexican version on my european X Force but it failed because of an invalid certificate.

I didnt try to root it yet. I'll try it later with a custom recovery
