Accessory questions for lte galaxy nexus

Im looking at this

Cheapest I can find it for is $33 new. which is terrible wondering a few things about it.. Can anyone find it cheaper? Also does the battery it comes with have NFC??
Also does anyone know if they stock batter would work in the extended battery door? I like carrying multiple batteries so it doesnt ever really die but I cant justify carrying a different back.
Also how are the otter box commuters for these?

I would say yes to nfc as the battery is the same as stock, I've heard the extended batter fits but the cover doesn't close on the charger. Also yes stock battery fits with extended back as that's what I'm using now

I'm just gonna get that charger and pick up an extended battery another day. So new battery and otter box here I come.

Extended battery case or battery?

I'm wondering if any company has released a extended battery case or an extended battery for the galaxy s3

For my old phone, I had really a low battery and I never had a chance to charge it. I bought an extra battery, but i still had a low battery problem since the original one was almost dying. I had to buy an portable battery functions as extended battery. I used it all the time until i got a new phone. Not sure if you need a battery for galaxy s3 for now. My galaxy nexus requires a battery with NFC antenna built in or you lose the NFC functions of the phone. Im guessing S3 needs it also.

Would love that if they didn't add much bulk.

I'm waiting for an Anker branded one. I've always had good luck with those -- especially with my GS2. I like the fact they are the same physical size as OEM batteries.

I am waiting for Samsung to release an OEM battery. Hopefully 2500-2600MaH

The only thing about the OEM branded batteries is that it's very hard to find cases to fit with the different battery cover.

Some, but not all of them. Anker usually produces one for each model that will still fit under the same battery door.

Oh that's awesome, I wouldn't mind it not having NFC, I already have it disabled to save battery

Has Samsung not released the OEM batteries and desktop chargers yet?

Samsung will Never make those batterys
& buying the ones from China is useless
they Never give the battery charge they claim

Good to know. Only thing I am worried about with my s3 will be battery life. Lol with my maxx I have gotten cocky and turned off juice defender. My maxx can go balls to the wall and still last all day.

Watch out for onite batteries. I bought two spare ones from them and they did not fit in the galaxy, much too wide. Had to send them back

when I bought my s3 last week they had genuine samsung batteries for sale for $39 ($AU) which is about the same in $US.
Given that it is easy to replace, and how much I will probably spend on cases and car mounts, an extended battery would have to be very good and cheap.

Im waiting for a Power Case cover(w/ Kick Stand) with 4000mAh Battery
my 3000mAh case just gives me 60% of battery life on my Galaxy Note

Indeed the 'Onite' batteries do not fit. But there are replacement batteries made by Hyperion, only 100Mhz more than standard but still a nice backup. See the Youtube video below.

Where can I find a stock GS3 battery?

I want to buy an OEM battery for my gs3 so I can replace it when its out of battery. Could someone find a link to the actual one that you find in shipped devices? I dont want a knockoff or an extended battery. Thank you.

I assume that its only for the S3 because the batteries are most likely different sizes. But you would have to ask someone who knows

[Q] Best Stock Battery Replacement?

Any ideas on this one? I feel my battery after almost 2 years is starting to crap out. Looking for a stock replacement that is solid.

How has the performance been? Reason I ask is many of the cheaper "replacement" batteries usually crap out either in a month of so, or stop charging to 100% all together. Also, why the heck is it so hard to find a OEM Samsung battery (EB-L1F2HVU in US or HVK in Korea) for this phone. I can easily find the shorter battery for the Verizon phone (SCH-I515), but almost nothing (unless you want to pay over $60) for the GT-I9250M phone.
Unless you can read Korean and order the OEM larger 2000 mAh battery (EB-L1F2KVK) directly the majority of us are out of luck.

Where's a good place to buy original Samsung one for cheap?

I found an 2450 mah battery which claimed to fit with the stock battery cover. But I read that its actually worse than stock battery and if you remove the seal around the battery it actually shows a lower mah.. That were reviews for the s2 version but I think it applies to that one too . Ive seen several 2300 mah batterys that claimed the same but assumed it was the same story..

I can't find the original Samsung 2000mah battery online but I came across the Samsung EA-BP2000 battery for the Galaxy Camera 2. It seems to be the same battery. It has the same specs and code (EB-F1A2KBU).
1. Has anyone tried this battery?
2. Where can I get a battery cover that would fit?

I saw it on Samsung's website and on the UK Amazon. I tried to find the original 2000mah battery cover but couldn't. I've ordered the battery and a generic TPU case which I should have next week. I'll report back if it works.

Just to add that having let the battery run out completely I couldn't get it to charge again. Amazon replaced it no problem. But if you're getting one don't let the phone die.
