Cheapest I can find it for is $33 new. which is terrible wondering a few things about it.. Can anyone find it cheaper? Also does the battery it comes with have NFC??
Also does anyone know if they stock batter would work in the extended battery door? I like carrying multiple batteries so it doesnt ever really die but I cant justify carrying a different back.
Also how are the otter box commuters for these?
I would say yes to nfc as the battery is the same as stock, I've heard the extended batter fits but the cover doesn't close on the charger. Also yes stock battery fits with extended back as that's what I'm using now
I'm just gonna get that charger and pick up an extended battery another day. So new battery and otter box here I come.

Just the title is a mouth full haha. I bought a powermat from a buddy without realizing how they work. I found that i can Wireless Charging Inductive Battery Cover from vzw and still use the powermat. But then i would have to trade in my extended battery. I searched fro quite some time and found nothing anyone know where to find a Wireless Charging Inductive extended Battery Cover for the vzw extended battery?? I really can't tell what would be better charging wirelessly or keeping my extended battery haha ahhh decisions decisions...
found a solution also a solution for anyone who wants an extended battery but wants a case or doesn't want the bulky back. Sedio makes a 1750 extended battery that is the same size as the original battery and CHICHITEC makes a 1900 extended battery that is the same size as the oem battery.

I was reading some reviews on the CHICHITEC 1900 apparently they make the same battery for like 9 different phones and it leaves a gap, it works but i dont trust it. If you want to snag one its on amazon pretty cheap to its 39.99 for 2 batteries and a wall dock to charge one battery and a usb to charge the phone. the sedio you can find on htcdepot. I also read about the mugen 1800mah, but i could only find it on ebay within a few minutes of searching. I also heard it wasnt to great.. Ahh decisions decisions haha..
Yeah, I'd like to get a stronger battery but I like my otterbox too much to give it up for an extended battery. So if I can get an extended battery the same size, I'd be all over that.

Whats the real benefit of a power mat? Yeah it charges wirelessly, but doesn't it have to lay on the mat? If you pick up your phone to use it, it stops charging right? Doesn't this make the cable superior because you can still use it while it's charging without messing with the powermat?
pretty sure the battery door for inductive charging is bulkier than a normal
Welcome.
For some time, I looking to buy extended battery, because the stock battery works for me too short.
Already considering increased battery 2000 mAh Samsung, but that does not give too much more than stock.
The second idea was the Seidio 3800 battery, but this expense is getting a bit too big.
And the third idea is to External Battery Case.
Cost is much better than the Seidio, and if I'm counting (2200 mAh Extended Battery + 1750 stock battery) it even gives you more energy.
Can anyone use it already?
How is it exercised?
It seems to me to work like as a charger permanently connected, so it is not an additional battery, but charger, which is non-stop charge the battery.
Do not destroy / reduce battery life?
And did this significantly increases the size of the phone?
Is it possible to choose the cover?
As for the Seidio, a little do not succeed in choosing the right kit.
The manufacturer's website there are several, and I myself do not really know what they are different.
I need one that will enable me to mount the 3800 mah battery and attach the phone to your belt.
Thank you
I have had sedeio extended batteries before and they where great. I have also has a charger case it was powerskin brand but I must say it sucked. The charger case I had made my phone really hot. I'm planning on buying the extended battery and convert case since I need battery life and protection. And I believe it comes with a belt hook

I got the Seidio extended battery too. I also have the case that comes with it. It's big but it hasn't been a problem for me since it eliminated the charging-all-day hassle.
Anyone located any? All I can find is the extended for the international or ones that ship from China ...

Ditto. Seidio should have one out soon.

The battery life has been so good already, I can't imagine an extended battery especially with all these great roms that have been dropping. It doesn't feel like a high end smart phone when you aren't always looking for an outlet.
Either way, I would be interested in an extended battery as well. It would be fun seeing just how long this phone could go on a single charge then :good:
Man the turboslim rom is doing wonderful on my phone...extended battery I'd be able to leave my charger at home...hoping for a quality build with a slim lined back...I hate the ugly square boxed back!

From what I understand non-OEM batteries don't really support NFC. They have the ability to but if they don't specifically state it then they likely don't.
I'm at work and I got a customer that just asked me about extended batteries. I told her they're usually fat batteries that come with special battery doors.. but usually at least give 25-50% more battery life. Then she asked if there were any slim extended batteries. I didn't know how to answer her and all my gsearches came up with 3000MaH plus big boys. All I found was he Mugen Power 2000MaH slim battery. You guys know of any other options out there?

I am currently using an Anker battery that I bought off Amazon. It has slightly extended battery life at 2200 mAh. It is the same size as the OEM battery so no custom back case or chunkyness sticking out the back. Anker sells the single batteries or they sell a double pack with an external battery charger on Amazon, quite useful. I believe their products are on sale right now.

The Samsung galaxy nexus 2150 mAh battery fits in the s2 without any problems. Slight bulge on the battery cover though.

Anker 2200 mAh works perfect for me. I've been using 2 I ordered from Amazon for about 4 months. I get about 10 hours heavy usage time. I get well over a day on when I take it easy. Juice defender is an excellent addition to any cell as well. I would advise you to be careful when taking the battery out of the charger so you don't break the plastic that separates the cells. It can cause problems charging through the cell phone. Either way it's a great buy and I highly recommend.

Anyone know how reliable some of these aftermarket batteries are? I've been reading that some don't have NFC support and overcharge protection. Both huge no-nos in my book. Especially the latter.

You can charge them either way. Personally I use the external and the phone. I was just saying be a bit careful when you take your battery off the external charger. I have one battery that I can only charge through the external since I broke the small plastic separator... not a big deal though. It still works properly.

Anyone tried the ecell batteries? Seem to work on my atrix.. was wondering if I should try it on this guy.
No NFC support in most (if not all) aftermarket batteries

Yes, most aftermarket batteries (like the one WangLung linked to), if not all, don't have NFC support as the chip is located in the battery. The same goes for the ATT i777, but not the international i9100.
You can tell on many of these by the 4 contacts- one is for the NFC. This is why a i9100 battery (with only 3 contact heads) will work with a i777 phone (that has 4 contact prongs) - the connector for the NFC would just be touching plastic.
Don't know about the overcharging protection though.
I have the Anker 2200 MAh slim extended battery in my phone and it works great! I usually get an extra hour of on-screen time than I would with the stock battery.

Anker battery is awesome
I purchased an Anker 2200 mAh slim batter 2 weeks ago, and I have been nothing but impressed! This battery rocks, I get 2 full days with average/light use (phone calls, 3 hours screen time).
Well worth the investment for 2 battery's + charger for around $25!

Has anyone tried this one?

Thinking of getting it but I am also debating the anker one. Does the anker battery have problems with over charging? because I usually keep my phone on the charger all night
i searched for anker 2200 MAh on amazon there is one cost 12$ and other cost 20$ ,,,, any difference between them ,,,,, which type u r having guys ?????

The one for $20 includes two batteries and a charger, while the $12 one only a single battery. For what you get with the $20 one, it never hurts to have more than one battery, especially if you're away from the charger for a whole day and you're using your phone often.
I do not own the Anker extended battery myself, as I am doing fine with the stock battery and I like having NFC ready if needed. But it does seem like a great battery, especially for the price.
I've been looking for a new battery for my phone, I would prefer one without the need of a new back cover if anyone knows a good battery please tell me.
I have looked at these two batteries on amazon, but there doesn't seem to be much about then else where. Is it worth the buy?

EDIT:
After further reading I find that most slim batteries are a scam. Are there any lower $30s extended batteries with TPU case?
As you found out slim batterys are a scam you want more capacity you have to get a bigger fatter battery its the trade off and you could get a cheap battery but recommend getting one already tested check other threads there are a few
Sent from my LG-D855 using XDA Free mobile app
On the other hand, if you buy a "slim battery" (preferably the original LG one), and the one that came with your phone still works, you end up with (almost) double the capacity because you can switch them out when one runs out of charge. This way you don't make your phone twice as ugly and 3 times as thick.
Go with the TrendOn batteries. You get two batteries plus a wall charger at a very reasonable price. I've had them for awhile now and they work as good as the stock battery, if not better. I get the same expected life and they appear to run cooler as well.
