FAQ​Read ALL of this before posting in this thread! Thanks.​
Q: I don't use the on-screen softkeys. How do I remove the navigation bar?
A: Go into Hybrid Properties --> Interface, under Workspace drag the slider for "Navigation Bar Size" to 0%.
Q: How do I disable the dual-pane layout that is preset in some apps (Settings, Gmail, etc.)?
A:Go into Hybrid Properties --> Apps and choose the app that you want to change. In the top right hand corner, click "Reset" and it will change the DPI and the layout of that app to the Workspace default that you have set. If your default Workspace is phablet / tablet UI but you want a specific app to not have the dual-pane layout, then go into Hybrid Properties --> Apps and set the specific app to phone UI.
Q: Some ROM Control options do not work?
A: ROM Control is still a WIP as of right now. The frameworks part of ROM Control has yet to be merged, so that's why some settings are blank. Please give some time, and it will be fixed in the near future.
ROMControl is now fixed and mostly working.
Q: Why did some of Hybrid Properties options disappear in the new update?
A: Go into Hybrid Properties --> Tools, and check Expert Mode and more settings will appear.
Q: How to I disable the PIE controls?
A: Go to Toolbars --> PIE Trigger Size and set that to none.

They have a samsung boot animation in the source code that you can use, it's in the vendor files somewhere I think

jhajha I really like this rom and wanted to have working sound recording

I still will build mine to learn, and maybe If everything is perfect, I will try to build others or do my own tweaks, dont know. I want to try your rom, I will do it later.

I didnt want to take my chances with the kernel produced by pacman build script jus yet so used bubor's lite kernel..somehow litekernel from tgg doesnt work..at least forme

actually, the rom comes with litekernel compiled by bubor and works quite well so no need to flash a kernel separately.

Better than no list

One issue I found was the stock email app is all screwy (I tried to find a screenshot option somewhere to show you but I could not). You can't enter in any values because the app is laid out all weird...
Also, I keep getting these ad popups in the notification bar with a star or something... Is this normal?

Okay... This is weird. I did nothing, and the issue with the email is gone...
Either the email app is scared of the developers, or someone just fixed my phone without me knowing. O.O

This is so awesome!!! I have tried this ROM before on my Nexus 7 and never thought it would come to this phone (well the Verizon one anyways).

I can't edit my contacts. When I select a contact, the menu button does not come up. Could I have hit something in the settings that I'm not aware of? Other than that, running smoothly.

It would be so nice if the HTC One allowed you to have several ROMs on your phone to switch between. Probably my most missed feature from my previous Droid Bionic.

Does not have the patch. Mainly cause it wouldn't work for me in my private build. Guess it will be in next built. I hope CM fixes it soon.

Bugs I've found:
- When coming out of airplane mode, I have to cycle it again to get data.(EDIT: Seems to have resolved itself after a couple reboots)
- Seems the "Notification Lights" and "LED Control" might conflict, as I can't get either to fully do what's intended.
- Spelling suggestions in the messaging app cause it to force close.
The following just seem to be Verizon 4.3 ROMs in general.
- When other end hangs up during a call, call is reported as lost.
- Can't send MMS. No errors, it just never gets past sending. (EDIT: Seems to have resolved itself after a couple reboots)
- Changing the notification panel background (opacity or image) causes a System UI FC loop.
That's all I've come across so far, other than that, loving the ROM.

PAC is now official New build is out! OP is updated

It seems small, but I rely heavily on the vCard via sms functionality in the sense sms app. Can't seem to find a solution on the market. Is there a solution here?

It's an option to turn on the 3 dot overlay. I forgot where in the settings.

First of all, thanks for ur work .. running smooth so far. I just flashed from kiltnars build and I was able to turn off hardware backlights. I can't find the option on here anymore. I must be going crazy... can anyone direct me to where that is located?
Also, as with kiltnars build, my GPS is off by a mile. Any ideas?

Previous version on official thread that jahrule compiled on has the 5 second delay but it works. Flashed this newest version and video stopped working. Just dirty flashed previous build and it's fine again.

Hopefully kitner will help guide to pick some commits from cm for the video issue. You can see his candyrom over on the skyrocket forum. It seems to be only providing 50/50 fixes at this point but still progress

Yes it does. Using Chet's latest Uber with SaberMod with it. Works pretty good. Half way decent battery life but it works.

i already built one but couldn't flash it. Will have a look at it this week.

a new build is up.
dont ask for a changelog but this time this build was done by our build system and not by myself.
ps: pac5 is working so yes there will be pac5 in the future for manta.
i'm not allowed to share the build but if someone is really interested i can explain howto build one on your own (requires a linux os, a bit of ram (8GB+) and a bit of HDD space (~100GB iirc))
but dont expect too much there is not much change from cm12 yet

I just realized that i dont have sound on my device and would like to verify if my device is broken (unlikely) or if there is a bug i have to fix (more likely)

i'm still trying to find out why.
i dont have sound on a self built cm11, so this has nothing todo with pacrom.
The problem is that i dont really get any error, so it is hard to debug.
maybe i'll have to ask the cm guy if they can give me a hint, but i havent had time to do this / to find a recent cm thread for this device ...

A new build is up. The sound problem is fixed now.

sorry for this late reply but ma manta was always charging super slow ...
haven had a look at how slow it is charging with this rom since i usually charge the device over night ...

I still love this tablet and will support it as long as i can.

I updated the OP to pac-5.1.
Those files arent official released, therefore the unofficial tag.
Have a look in the Unofficial Directry in Basketbuild.

I don't usual ask for anything, as roms are made different for a reason, but is there any way you could get the battery bar feature in this? If not, I completely understand.
