i already built one but couldn't flash it. Will have a look at it this week.
a new build is up.
dont ask for a changelog but this time this build was done by our build system and not by myself.
ps: pac5 is working so yes there will be pac5 in the future for manta.
i'm not allowed to share the build but if someone is really interested i can explain howto build one on your own (requires a linux os, a bit of ram (8GB+) and a bit of HDD space (~100GB iirc))
but dont expect too much there is not much change from cm12 yet
did anyone flash this already?
if yes do you have sound?
I just realized that i dont have sound on my device and would like to verify if my device is broken (unlikely) or if there is a bug i have to fix (more likely)

Another user already reported the no sound issue so it seems to be confirmed...
I will have a look in the next days.
But thanks for the offer
I have no sound on mine either. I thought I was going crazy. Excellent ROM, otherwise

i'm still trying to find out why.
i dont have sound on a self built cm11, so this has nothing todo with pacrom.
The problem is that i dont really get any error, so it is hard to debug.
maybe i'll have to ask the cm guy if they can give me a hint, but i havent had time to do this / to find a recent cm thread for this device ...
A new build is up. The sound problem is fixed now.
Awesome, going to flash the 12/4 build in a bit here. Thank you very much for this. I just got my Manta in October, not much going on in these threads, I know its an older device, especially with release of the 6 & 9, but anywho, thanks again.

sorry for this late reply but ma manta was always charging super slow ...

Updated the thread to LP
Tried with 5 different browsers. Can't dl, closest I come is chrome & that stops halfway

i just tried to dl and it was working fine.
have you used the "normal" link?
Basketbuild offers a non p2p link : https://basketbuild.com/dlgate/devs?dev=pacman&dl=pacman/manta/Nightly/pac_manta-lp-Nightly-20150411.zip
Chris
Going to try the latest build now. Thank you so much for building lollipop Pac for the Nexus 10.
"Chance Favors the Prepared"
You're welcome
I still love this tablet and will support it as long as i can.
I updated the OP to pac-5.1.
Those files arent official released, therefore the unofficial tag.
Have a look in the Unofficial Directry in Basketbuild.
I don't usual ask for anything, as roms are made different for a reason, but is there any way you could get the battery bar feature in this? If not, I completely understand.
Thank you again for giving us Pac on our Nexus 10.

Maybe is good of you put a link to the gapps that bubor makes

great job mate, although i will skip this one as i prefer pure cm.
that my cup o tea
but as always, two major problems left to fix, hop you'll guys will find a way.
btw the kernel based on lite-kernel?
I didnt want to take my chances with the kernel produced by pacman build script jus yet so used bubor's lite kernel..somehow litekernel from tgg doesnt work..at least forme
I'm currently syncing the sources for the covenant's kernel as i've always liked that more
Sent from my SGH-I927 using xda app-developers app

actually, the rom comes with litekernel compiled by bubor and works quite well so no need to flash a kernel separately.

Better than no list
One issue I found was the stock email app is all screwy (I tried to find a screenshot option somewhere to show you but I could not). You can't enter in any values because the app is laid out all weird...
Also, I keep getting these ad popups in the notification bar with a star or something... Is this normal?
*edit*
Okay... This is weird. I did nothing, and the issue with the email is gone...
Either the email app is scared of the developers, or someone just fixed my phone without me knowing. O.O

Mine! Will fix up OP later.
Guess you liked my idea,...lol.
Time for me to find some other project to start I guess.
Just what I've been waiting for! Downloading now...
This is so awesome!!! I have tried this ROM before on my Nexus 7 and never thought it would come to this phone (well the Verizon one anyways).
Thanks for all your hard work and support for this phone!!!
I can't edit my contacts. When I select a contact, the menu button does not come up. Could I have hit something in the settings that I'm not aware of? Other than that, running smoothly.
Figures, I just finished setting up CM 10.2. I'll try this tonight.

It would be so nice if the HTC One allowed you to have several ROMs on your phone to switch between. Probably my most missed feature from my previous Droid Bionic.
Does this have the IR support workaround patch that was mentioned in the CM 10.2 thread?

Does not have the patch. Mainly cause it wouldn't work for me in my private build. Guess it will be in next built. I hope CM fixes it soon.

Welcome to PAC you little black sheep of the m7 series.
Nice work @Flyhalf205
Bugs I've found:
- When coming out of airplane mode, I have to cycle it again to get data.(EDIT: Seems to have resolved itself after a couple reboots)
- Seems the "Notification Lights" and "LED Control" might conflict, as I can't get either to fully do what's intended.
- Spelling suggestions in the messaging app cause it to force close.
The following just seem to be Verizon 4.3 ROMs in general.
- When other end hangs up during a call, call is reported as lost.
- Can't send MMS. No errors, it just never gets past sending. (EDIT: Seems to have resolved itself after a couple reboots)
- Changing the notification panel background (opacity or image) causes a System UI FC loop.
That's all I've come across so far, other than that, loving the ROM.
PAC is now official New build is out! OP is updated
It seems small, but I rely heavily on the vCard via sms functionality in the sense sms app. Can't seem to find a solution on the market. Is there a solution here?

YES!
Used PAC 4.2.2 on my Inc2 and was really hoping to see it come to this device!
Installing after work and will report back
EDIT: Got it all setup and no bugs at all so far. Will keep updated
Thanks!
I'm still having problems getting the three "menu dots" in both Contacts, and the stock messaging app. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? I did a complete wipe & reinstalled the latest version. Thanks.

Nice...time to try this out. Loved this rom on my Note 3.
Awesome!
So would this in theory have about the same bugs/not-working items that all the other CM-12 based ROMs have?
Thanks.
Great work Spleef. I'm running it now and no issues so far. Thank you.
Glad to see you made it
Great rom man, no issues to note, thanks for bringing this here! :good:
Tried the ROM. It is super fast. It seemed even faster than the new official CM release. FWIW, I got an an antutu score >50,000 for the first time on this phone. Only problem I encountered (which made me nandroid back to what I was on) is that I encountered bluetooth headphone experiences like I experienced on on other LP ROMs. Specifically, the volume steps were not proportional. The sound would be not quite loud enough at 50%. So, I'd adjust the volume up a little and the sound would suddenly be excruciatingly loud. I'll be happy to try ROM again when I read that this issue has been addressed. Otherwise, it seemed awesome.

It's great that someone took the time to create an official build of this ROM for the Nexus 9. Definitely would not have been easy given the number of changes the PAC community has gone through recently.
Side note: I saw that the flounder folder is up on PAC's Basket build , but for those wondering, it's empty at this point in time. I'm assuming it's uploading or final touches are being made.

From my Moto X, If you've ever used javelin browser, it's like that. You can open & interact with an app without leaving your current app, and can optionally freeze or continue running the app underneath.
If xhalofloatingwindow works on lollipop, I recommend getting it, as it lets you have multiple windows open ( the larger screen of the 9 should make this useful), move & resize windows, snap, etc.
Wow, you get a post for this xD, I've had this out since 12/12.

Mine!
If you find any bugs, please let us know!
Also don't use any themes for now. There is a bug with the theme engine that will cause SystemUI to crash.
We'll try to fix it asap.

with respect to the list you're absolutely right, these days it is updated,
with respect to the network, I have not noticed this error, you Might give me a logcat? :fingers-crossed:

I've experienced the same bug in earlier builds of cm12. Haven't tried to change it recently though. I'm sorry I I won't be able to provide a logcat though, still on a different rom.
Is the theme engine crash fixed yet? Or are we to wait for later builds?

It's has been fixed since last week I think.
Installed nightly from 03-27, works very well so far. Very snappy, no bugs found yet.
Edit: Bluetooth in the car also works, also with rsap.

That's because you are right - it was a typo. The build I installed was the 2015-03-26 nightly. Sorry for this one.
Do not worry buddie! I was just surprised but I've just read in g+ that there are some server's trouble.
Fortunately, as you stated, the last nightly works really OK!

The latest nightly is running smooth. Thanks for the good work.
The only issue I have is that some app like MySword doesn't read my external card. I tried ES Explorer and several other app. They can read my card.
I tried to unmount and remount it in setting > storage. Es Explorer can recognize my card but after MySword tried and failed, the external card can't be recognized again.
Is that only me? I've seen similar thing on AICP nightlies. Can anyone confirm this? Or is there a way to fix it?
Thanks in advance, guys.
