Hi can anyone help me find or make a transparent Google now widget compatible with 4.4.2 two? Thanks so much

I'm pretty sure you just have to spam Google with requests to add that feature. I too would love it, as I have pretty animated wallpapers I'd like showing through. My calendar widget is nice and transparent.
The Google search bar widget became solid white too, and I found "custom ICS search" widget to overcome that. Perhaps a third party developer will make a Google Now widget replacement, too, though I have a feeling it's more complicated in this case.

Beatufil widgets and Weather Widget Donate are 2 that everyone uses. Both are in the market, both are skinable and highly customizable.
Good luck
Weather Widget
I would have to say that Beautiful Widget is by far the best. Has a huge variety of clock and weather skins that can be downloaded from the app itself and also has a weather animation when you go to the forcast that is somewhat like Sense. Well worth the $2.
Fancy widget is awesome

wish we had sense. I love the Sense clock and weather
Just get fancy widget, cheap knock off that does the work but doesn't flip

A quick search on the market doesn't really come with anything called "fancy widget," could you be a bit more specific?
Not free. I purchased this one when I first got an android handset because I really wanted the sense clock.

Go to 4shared.com you'll find it there..

I like the beautiful widget app. Has clock, weather and other widgets. Its always best to support the developers and buy from the markets, especially if you go to 4shared.com and download them for free.

Is there a free Calendar app that has a 4x4 widget that syncs with google calendar...
Struggling to find one that works on my nexus
Stret
Personally I'm using the default Calender widget. You can resize it to 4x4. It's not as good as Simple Calender Widget but until that is fixed for ICS it's better than nothing.

You learn something every day, I did not know you could re-size widgets.
Ive succesfully done that but it just shows today, can you change the view to a monthly calendar?
Thanks though mate, appreciated
No prob. Glad to to help.
I don't see any way to change the display settings of the Calender widget though. Seems like it's stuck like that.

Have you tried Jorte? I don't know if it's updated for ICS yet, but it's my go-to calendar. You can display the whole month in a 4x3 or 4x4, with your calendar entries actually spelled out, instead of just a dot that you have to zoom in on to see what it is. Pure Calendar Widget also does this, but is widget only, and costs $2.99 in the market.
Android pro widgets is really clean.. Also it includes a nice timeline style widget with both Facebook and twitter!
I recommend the paid version.. Some good themes.
Edit: forgot I was still in galaxy Nexus forums.. Not sure if it is ics compatible.

What widgets look great on the Nexus 7? Please share your finds here. Cheers!

Widgetsoid2 widgets - very configurable, use background from your gallery for contacts.
Gasks - nice scrollable one for agenda and tasks.
N7 Player
Any Go Launcher shortcut - replace with any png image.
Excellent, thanks!
Does anyone know if there is a Whatsapp widget for counting unread messages?

I use HD Widgets for time and weather. I have the paid version. Not sure what the free one is like.

I use GO Launcher and GO Notifications for unread count. You have to search for the Go Notifications apk since the Play store says not compatible. I can confirm it works with Gmail and K9.

I have downloaded and installed the apk but I can find no sign of it anywhere. Could you tell me where to look for it? Thanks!
Edit: What I mean is that I don't get the option to open the file after install. Where did you find your apk?

I'm kind of partial to the widgets below:
Weathereye (having issues at the moment): http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.citc.weather&feature=nav_result#
Minimalistic Text: http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.devmil.minimaltext&feature=search_result#
Flipboard: http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=flipboard.app&feature=search_result#
Power toggles: http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.painless.pc&feature=search_result#
Simple Calendar: http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.anod.calendar&feature=search_result#
If you want to see what it looks like check the post your home screen thread here.
UCCW - most customizable clock/weather/whatever widget available, check XDA main Themes forum for UCCW thread with 100s of themes
Minimal Reader - for news
Jorte - for Calendar
I use AOKP so no need for power toggles since they are in the dropdown...
Beautiful widgets has a nice selection of weather widgets.
You talkin' to me? GO notify is part of the GO app. If you hit settings and scroll to the right, you'll see notifications (after you installed the apk), click it and lets you set notifications for various things. It's not an app or widget, but does show up in system apps list.

If only they would fix the dynamic sizing option in their 4x1 weather. Using it at the moment until weathereye gets sorted. /rant
Another vote for power toggles here. Works well with the default theme (appearance wise)

Can anyone recommend a full screen or 4X6 calendar widget that shows the full month view? Another member submitted this screenshot in a different post but never responded to my pm about it.

I'm using Jorte which has several resizeable widget options for a full screen calendar.
Calender
The best calender widgets that i found and use is Wizz (scroll-able widget)

Also think Business Calendar is good

Android Pro Widgets or APW.

Thanks for the input. Pure Calendar looks pretty good but I opted for the free Business Calender. It's exactly what I was looking for!

I use Android Pro Widgets because it also has a Facebook and Twitter widget. So you get everything I need in one download. Plus it has tons of sweet themes to really match my setup.

Take a look on Calengoo!
With this you can make a full screen widget.
I use Pure Calendar Widget...

Transparency is only good so far, wow. I dunno how you'd possibly read anything there, although your screenshot only shows the calendar, not events...
As for me, I use Agenda Widget for Android, which is very customizable and works good. I've used it for the whole time I've used Android, honestly never looked to see if there was anything out there better since. It has a list view (agenda, but you can do almost anything with it) or a grid view (calendar).
The good thing about it is that it supports a bunch of third party calendar apps too, like it can show (and create) events in Touchdown Exchange, etc.
Another vote for Agenda Widget. BTW, you must get paid version to be able to see calendar layout. Like previous poster, I'm not even thinking about trying something else. It's just that good. At least for me.

calender pad pro is worth a look , been using it for some time.
The events show up as slashes in the corners of the dates.

That specific calendar is APW widgets with the Lucid theme. Both are available in the play store, though to use themes you have to buy the pro key. I just set up that combo from the same pic you showed. It resizes well.
I bought Transparent Launcher Premium, thinking that it would do it for me. Unfortunately though, it lacks many basic features that I think the developer should have implemented. There is no way to search for an application by name to make it a transparent widget (you have to scroll through all your apps in non alphabetical order), and you cannot make multiple transparent widgets for your app icons (has to be 1 by 1). Lastly, with my Note 2 I can't even have a 1x1 transparent widget, only 2x2. So please guys, any other viable options out there? I like to have a nice wallpaper to look at with most of the apps that I use still on my homescreen.
PS sorry for the rant :silly:
Lightning launcher has the ability to make icons and widgets transparent.

Thanks for the reply. I do not want to switch my home lunched though. I'm a firm believer that most big things on a phone should be stock... runs smoother.
