Hi!
I need some help, if I can't unlock the booloader of an Android (Moto G Verizon CDMA), is still possible to flash it with another carrier? (i.e PagePlus, Iusacell Mexico)
I want to buy a Moto G from Verizon, but the bootloader is locked by Motorola, and can't be unlocked, so I was wondering if I can activate with other carrier with DFS Tools or by the mobile carrier itself.
Thanks in Advance!

So I'm looking to purchase an LG G3, however I wanted a unlocked model without carrier bloatware. I'd like to be able to use it with AT&T LTE. IWhat's my best option?

1) you buy the at&t one, root and delete the bloatware
2) you buy the international one
Unlocked is about the state of the bootloader and I thing you ment something else, if you need a unlocked bootloader try the T-mobile version.
I am an AT&T subscriber and in the market for an LG G3. The AT&T version comes with a locked bootloader which means I will probably never be able to install a custom recovery and flash CyanogenMod on it which is a must for me. I realize that other versions will not work with AT&T LTE and I am completely fine with just HSDPA+ - which versions of the phone support AT&T HSDPA+ and come with unlocked bootloader?

Thank you. Does it come network unlocked? I.e. can I put my AT&T sim in and use it?

No, but I've heard of getting unlock codes for as little as $6 on Ebay.
Plus Tmo is rumored to start a new thing soon where they put an unlock app either on the phone itself or on the Play Store and you can unlock it right there.
You'd want to get the Tmo version, though, because it's fully compatable with AT&T's LTE bands.
So, I just bought a new G3 from my carrier Vodafone Romania and wanted to unlock it so I can use it with other gsm carriers when I'm abroad.
Before buying a sim unlock code I wanted to make sure that it can be unlocked. So I popped in an Orange SIM and it worked without asking me for a code. Then I tried the other method by typing in the dialer 2945#*855# and got "the phone is permanently locked and cannot be unlocked".
How can this be? It's unlocked but permanently locked? Or this is the message you get after successfully unlocking?
Any insight will be appreciated.
I don't know if this matters but I'm rooted and twrp bumped on v20h
Hello all,
I recently purchased an LG G7 thinq and noticed that it has been sim unlocked. I am able to unlock the bootloader as well as the app says I'm permanently unlocked. Would i be able to convert it to the unlocked model?
No if you try to flash any other firmware besides t-mobile you will brick the phone
It's sim unlocked not bootloader unlocked
Hi
I have been able to flash the unlocked non carrier specific firmware on several Verizon Samsung phones over the past few years. Through my employer, I was able to get a free Motorola One 5g UW that I want to take and use on ATT. I know it has the antennas. I can put my sim in, and it shows cricket, but it is locked through Verizon. Is it possible to flash a Motorola from one carrier specific firmware over to another like the Samsungs ? Verizon says it will unlock after 60 days, but even still, it will have Verizon bloatware on it. Thanks in advance.
It doesn't work
Radio in AT&T and VZ versions are different.
Moreover, both bootloader are dead locked and there's NO WAY to unlock
