Attached is the one i made for my rom. U must extract zip, delete AccuweatherPhone2013.apk and .odex from /system/app and place this one there
Set permissions to 0644 and owner to 0:0 . No ideea if it will work for u is from Duos XXUBNC1 version

I agree it looks nice and I've used it before on some non-sammy devices. I'm not sure what it is about the accuweather widget, maybe the moving clouds, or just the layout itself but no matter what else I've tried, nothing seems to be as good.

FYI -- This works on the 4.4.2 update as well.
The S5 AccuWeather works on KK GT-9195 (tested) Only problem the widget is 4x3 not 4x2.. Maybe someone can look after this :laugh:

I deleted it from system/app/ (didnt actually think that i needed it again).

Set permission to rwxr-xr-x, if it doesn't work, use rw-r--r-- instead, and set ownership to 0 - root for both Owner and Group

Hey guys,
So i accidentally replaced the bootanimation binary file in my system/bin/ folder with another one and now no bootanimations play on my device.
It boots up normally, i just don't see the bootanimation.
I am running rooted, stock touchwiz 4.4.2 with an SGH-i257m.
Would it be possible for someone to upload their stock bootanimation file so i can put it back into the folder.

This is a guide to get the background color on the Now Playing screen to be a similar color to your album art on the Sony Walkman app (see screenshots below for examples). These files were extracted straight from a stock Sony Xperia Z3. This was tested and confirmed working on KitKat and Lollipop.
What you need:
Walkman app (see thread by MahaDEVELOPER to download: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2612397)
Root
File Explorer w/ root capabilities
Steps:
Download the .zip below and extract the files to your device.
Copy the file com.sonyericsson.colorextraction.xml to /system/etc/permissions and set permission to rw-r--r.
Copy the file com.sonyericsson.colorextraction_impl.jar to /system/framework and set permission to rw-r--r.
Reboot device.
Now play a song using Walkman, and you should see the change.

This should work on any device, theoretically. Can you try replacing the original com.sonyericsson.colorextraction_impl.jar with this one? Copy to /system/framework and set permissions to rw-r--r--.

On your Sony device? I'm pretty sure the correct permissions are rw-r--r-- for all framework and permission files.

its funny, i tried 2 different material walkman apk and both of them doesnt have the .jar file, for CM 12 users, maybe they just need to move the jar file only. i was wondering for a long time why the colors dont change. :fingers-crossed:

I believe that most Sony stock ROMs include this already, however, if yours doesn't, then it's compatible.

Like the tittle says, Is it possible?, I already have the Xperia weather app that is posted in the Xperia crossed device section and work amazing in my N5X, but I cant find anything about the G6 or S8 weather apps and I dont want just the widget, Im interested in the fully app, if not I just could download a theme for some widget app.

Not opt! System/app or it my be in system/priv app. Your in emulated storage. Go to system.
You need to be rooted to get to system - use a root explorer
