Your not the only one who had this problem... I which the mod would shut down the thread pushing rooting via flashing.
Too many newbies are having issues flashing.
I recommend saveroot.zip. It leaves your device's counter untouched. Also it is 100% safe.
Now what to do with your device since it is stuck at the Samsung logo.
You can do what I do for stuck screens. Power on, and hold only the up volume key. Keep it held until boot screen is finished.
If that does not work, go into recovery and clear cache and reboot.
If none of the options work, you may have flashed with an incompatible file, there are three versions and only one is specific to your device. you can try re-flashing with a good file.

saveroot
Hello,
I am having a heck of a time finding this. Would you please point me in the right direction?
Thx!

[Q] I can't tell if it's a soft brick or hard brick but..

I flashed to Stock with ODIN and it went successful then I downloaded the updated firmware version to flash through ODIN because it wouldn't update through KIES or from itself and half way through, it failed and now it says "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again."
It doesn't work through Kies, it just keeps trying to connect but no connection so I tried to flashing back to the old firmware through ODIN again and everything works successful until this part

I've tried everything but switch to a different computer to try it on, what do you guys think I should do?
How interesting, after hours and hours of stress, all I did was flash stock recovery through ODIN and now it rebooted fine

[Q] Stuck at Samsung Galaxy note II boot logo

Today just suddenly my note 2 rebooted wasn't watching it and stayed on the Samsung Galaxy note II boot logo.
Can't get in recovery mode tried it for like 40 times now, I can get in download mode hooked it up to odin flashed it odin says no problem or error (see log below)
It's just a stock rom like the one before and rooted, installed nothing weird of experimental, always updated with mobile odin.

[Q] Root Failed and Need help Flashing Rom

Our daughter deleted all of the pics on my wife's phone. She tried to use Dr. Fone, but someone told us that it failed because her phone wasn't rooted. So I tried to root it from this post on cnet:
It failed during the root. Now it says "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again. Which I tried and also failed.
After a lot of heart ache and hours working on it, i have what a friend told me was the right tar file. I have attached the error in Odin.
When I run the tar file in Odin here is what the output screen shows:
<OSM> Enter CS for MD5..
<OSM> Check MD5.. Do not unplug the cable..
<OSM> Please wait..
<OSM> I747UCDLK3_I747ATTDLK3_I747UCDLK3_HOME.tar.md5 is valid.

<ID:0/003> Complete(Write) operation failed.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
Then my phone screen show this:
SW REV CHECK FAIL : Fused 3 > Binary 0
Not really my area of expertise at all. Any help would be appreciated!!
Thanks,
Brian
You cannot flash that tar file onto your phone. It is failing because that file is trying to downgrade the bootloader.
I recommend not flashing anymore files until you know the bootloader version of your phone.
I recommend you flash the latest Philz Touch custom recovery using desktop Odin from here:https://goo.im/devs/philz_touch/CWM_Advanced_Edition/d2lte/
Use Philz to flash the latest CM11 and Gapps. Then install the Samsung Phone Info app from the play store to verify your bootloader.
Once you know your bootloader, let us know the version.

Bricked Ace 2 - Can access Odin but not Recovery

Hey,
I have some old samsung ace 2 that I was experimenting around with, wanted to try and get some 5.1.1 ROM on it. But first I figured I needed to get some kernel on it, though I did something which now means that during bootup it is stuck on the samsung galaxy ace 2 logo. I can access ODIN mode, though cant access recovery mode. The battery mode also seems to be broke too as it just displays a loading symbol. So far I have flashed the EK kernel on it with what seems to be a success according to ODIN mode. Also note that Samsung KIES tries to connect to my device in ODIN mode but it never connects and troubleshooting doesnt do anything.
I tried to flash stock firmware to it through the odin software whilst my phone was in odin mode, though it displays a bunch of stuff in the odin pc software then attempts to reboot my phone though it just gets stuck on the boot logo again without odin really doing much here are the logs:

The only guide I can find seems to be before knox was implemented I've been looking round and tried one or two guides with no success. I'm really stuck here and am pleading for any help I can get.
