Hi Forum!
Whom do I have to ask to get a port of Paranoid Android to a HTC One MAX... Has anyone tried? :cyclops:
Would be great to get some feedback...

You would need to ask a dev that owns the device. Try your forum section

How can I find someone who owns that device?
Hi Forum!
Thanks to Priateghost... Please for my understanding - you recommend to post here http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-max/development
I tought someone here, who already contributed to Paranoid might get interessted to develop that port...
To everyone here - THANKS to all contributors, cooks and moderators...

Where do I post for help with an Android App I'm developing?
The other forum I looked at was: Android Software and Hacking General. But it says: No noobs please. I'm a noob at app dev.
Many thanks.

May be stackoverflow will be a better choice if you are looking for Java experts...
I agree with above that StackOverflow may be more help to you, but see this following thread for info about where to post in future...

Kernel dev needed to answer a few questions about dual boot kernel I am porting to n2

Hi all,
I was just wondering if the is any kernel dev on here, who could answer a few questions about 2 colliding partition names in the Siyah dual boot ramfs I an porting to our phone.
I have got the ramfs almost ready to combine with the kernel to create the boot img, but the is still 2 files I am a little confused about.
If anyone here knows anything about kernel development, could u please send me a pm or something, as i am stuck on theses 2 lines of code, and I can't do anything more with the dual boot kernel till I find a fix.
Cheers
Corey

Hi, Yes I hope so too
The Siyah dual boot is really great, I have a galaxy S2 (which I have now replaced with my note 2) and Siyah dual boot was available for that, and that's why I am wanting it on my n2 lol.
Cheers

Hi,
I just read the developer forum guidelines, and it seems that it's only for guides and things u have already made, so i think this must have to go in the qustions section.
Thanks anyway

Honestly I think you can post your question in the "Galaxy Note II, Galaxy S III Developer Discussion [Developers Only]"
The section guidelines are here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2017367 and it's not about releases and finished products to post. (that's for the Development forum which is a different section, maybe you didn't read the proper guidelines)

It's for actual developers that want to discuss things related to development, and both give and receive help. Your question seems to fit that criteria.

Omni-rom!

Hasn't anyone notice that we have Omni-rom for our HOX? Here's the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2666267
Do take a break from your hectic lifestyle and flash it than leave your comments to the developer for further improvements.
PLEASE don't forget to thank the dev for porting it for us
...............
C'mon Mr Hofs! You should really be more supportive of the devs whom tries their best to port over AOSP rom for our hox
No i dont. I don't see the need of such a thread. Why don't we make such a thread for every rom and call out to support the devs. Xda would be loaded with this.
...if you want to support the devs you give info and input about the rom in the specific dev thread instead of making polls/unnecessary threads in the general section.
Such a poll will probably only lead to some sort of rom comparison thread because one day there will be someone who posts here that he thinks that rom A is better than omni because ..... etc etc etc.

A thread for Omnirom already exists in Original Development. Thread closed
