This can be fixed in engineer menu. Dial 3845#*975# Click on nfc test, Activate Antenna Self Test. If not help try various choose in Nfc Test menu.

Try different choices then every time try activate nfc, i had same problem and it works.
Set test environment also try.
1.Set test environment.
2.Activate Antenna Self Test.

I have the same issue man.
NFC dont work. I flashed stock million of times. Never worked again. Even if i dont delete NFC apk it give me battery drain.
I think its hardware.
try flashing rom with a different variant, mine working even in CM 11.

NFC was working fine on stock and CM. Then suddenly the nfc option grayed out(disabled) falshing roms doesnt help either

I had something like that happened to my stock lg optimus g pro as well it just randomly lost service and wont come back...
YEAH...sometimes when the single poor,ogp will lost signal...

no ive been working on it all week and still nothing ive flashed it back to stock ALL the stock .tot's ive tried with qpst and that just keeps failing its a fiasco if anyone has any suggestions ill be happy to try them however ive accepted this phone is gone so if theres a risk im not worried..

Yeah, its not just data its any network connection. I get no signal at all
Did you backup your efs?

Not too long ago I had this issue. This is what worked for me...I took my sim card out and put 3 pieces of scotch tape ontop. Cut the excess tape off and put my sim card back in...and signal was back. Hope this helps.
Flashing the modem that correspond to your device will be an option. The ideal would be backing up your efs folder before doing anything so you can restore it in cases like this.
Find out what your modem should be and flash it again from recovery.
Hello, i have an interesting gps problem. It cannot lock to any satellite, i used gps status, gps test, topntp but none of those help me. I went to a cellphone repairer but they said that i have signal to talk, internet etc. so this isn't hardware related. Can anyone help me about this problem? I have stock rom with root 4.4.2. Have you tried using the gps in other areas as well? Maybe you just have bad gps reception around where you live?

Try changing your ROM? Maybe there could have been some problems with the system settings?

Just installed 4.4.2 clean stock rom.
Try installing the same rom again and check. If not try different stock rom.

Out of the blue, I can't find any WiFi networks. NONE.
ALTHOUGH, if I enter my network's ssid and p/w manually, it will connect.
What the heck.
I just recently flashed stock, but when I did that it worked flawlessly. I also edited build.prop and deleted some bloatware, but I restored everything back the way it was and it still fails working.
No WiFi network is found. Anywhere.
The weirdest thing, is if I download some random WiFi manager from the Play Store, it finds every network available..

Hi and happy new year,
I have a problem with the Wifi but not the same as you.
It's very strange because I can see all the neighborhood but I can't connect successfully on known networks.
I've tried with many networks with no success...
Sometimes, the wifi disappears and it shows disconnected.
Maybe it's a hardware problem.

Have you tried not synchronizing your phone with google account after reset? It pulls list of known networks from server, it may have had affected searching of new networks...

I hadn't.. Do you think that could really cause it not to find any networks?
Also, is there a way of erasing that now? Or do I have to reflash?
Either way I'm going to have to use TB to get my apps and data back.. Do you think maybe that has something to do with it? (I only restore user apps though)

And the phone doesn't recognize the sim cards too. Then I put it to flight mood and the problem solved. If I off the flight mood then again the phone turn off after few minutes.

I can use phone without any issue with the flight mode on.

Now I'm using CUOCO92 14s. I also tried the official rom & cyanogenmod. But the problem is there.

It's very likely that it might be the baseband or wifi driver, i had the same problem a while ago but i can't remember how i fixed it now. Probably flashing the original baseband. Maybe also by changing sim settings typing *#*#4636#*#* on phone application. Tell me what you see doing that.
One more question, did you mess with Nvram?
Actually I don't know about Nvram. I didn't mess with it intentionally. I don't know if something happened. Is there a way to check it?

No problem
Go into phone information change your current band settings to GSM/CDMA/LTE auto then restart, see if it works if it was already set to this option try changing to another setting. Btw you can't check nvram if you didn't touch it, don't worry

By changing band settings phone keeps turn on without airplane mood. It didn't turn off automatically. But No reception for both sims.

Hello guys, a year ago I tried root my phone and got bricked. After 2 weeks I finally fixed and came back to the stock rom. Since that day my WiFi is not connecting.
I'm able to search and find any network, but when insert the password, the phone try to connect, the signal go down, the message "connecting" appear, and after that appear as "saved" but not connected. I already tried to define a static IP address, but didn't work.
Can I broke the wifi firmware when tried to root for the first time?
Someone have an idea on what is going on?

Follow the unbrick guide method 2. Make sure you follow it right.. Don't skip any parts because it doesn't work. Don't see how you bricked the phone by flashing SuperSU but okay..

Hmm, if that and the unbrick isn't working then you might want to ask yourself it something is broken. Does it connect to other networks?

No I ve used several different hotspots to connect. The strange thing is that mobile data are working.

If that doesn't work try to flash ex kernel if i remember it correctly it changes something with wifi to.
If that doesn't work then It's broken or you can fix it by doing something else but dont know what, Good luck
