Hey guys, I'm having an issue regarding the vibration in my phone.
I'm currently on slimkat 4.4.2 latest weekly w/ latest KT kernel and TWRP. Sometimes the phone would not vibrate at all until a few seconds later. Is this a sign of incoming dead vibrator motor or it's a software issue? I tried changing ROMS and the modem itself, but it doesn't help.

I have E971 Canadian Rogers. I've tried roms such as CM 11, CyanFox 2.0.2, OMNI.
I get no sound while the phone is dialing, and when the call has been accepted.
I also get no sound when i pick up calls.
Speaker seems to work.

I get that problem too. Have you flashed any kernel after flashing the ROM, or when using the ROM? If you do, maybe the kernel has incompatibility issues with the ROM.
And if you are using Gravity Box Xposed Module, disable the volume tweaks there.

I am on tmobile (with rogers phone) and it seems to be a widespread problem.
A patch for Optimus G Pro. This worked for me! (Note that I JUST flashed the patch and I don't know if it will cause other problems in the long run)

Every ROM I tried had issues, including the stock ROM.
Stock ROM - Lockscreen notifications not working (very annoying to unlock phone to change song in spotify) I tried everything to enable them but they just couldn't work. Also icons are horrible.
CM 13 - Wifi o data suddenly is lost, apps enter in "bugged state" and the stop working as soon as I open them (chrome, facebook, spotify) restarting solves the issue temporarily. I love CM but restarting the phone 2-3 times a day is really annoying.
MM Stock ROM - Flickering screen during first boot up, can't continue further.
Which ROM should I use? I really like this phone but can't find a proper Android to use with.
Thanks
have you found any? i am searching for a stable rom aswell. I am currently on stock rom but the notification problems areannoying as hell...
The unofficial CM13 released today by surdu_petru is pretty stable for me. Fixed all the bugs I was having. This is my daily phone and it is day and night with EMUI.
Hello, I have a problem with my Redmi Note 5 (whyred Global) can't receive incoming calls (on LTE, but I can when I lock my network to 3G/HSPA+). I have been using Liquid Remix Pie ROM then and can receive calls no problem. Since I flashed CRDroid Pie, I can't turn on my wifi hotspot... which made me flash Liquid Remix again.. That's when I noticed I can't receive incoming calls from anyone.
I've tried wiping data/cache/dalvik/system/vendor and flashing other roms like PixyOS and no avail. And my carrier doesn't support VoLTE (unifi) which may cause this. I also turned off Enhanced 4G LTE Mode via settings but still.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.
Bump?
i have the same problem. Anyone know how to fix this?
Hi all.
I installed the Havoc custom ROM on my Redmi 6 pro. The experience has been splendid, that is until I started experiencing this issue two days later.
My mobile randomly switches off while being used. It goes blank mid-use and has to be powered up again. It doesn't occur while doing any specific task, no patterns could be come up regarding this issue, just randomly switches off.
I have pretty much no idea why this is happening. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

The issue happens with Havoc Os custom rom Android 11. The issue persists even after clean flashing again. I tried PixyOS android 11 too which has the same issue. I narrowed down the problem and understood that the problem occurs when I am connected to a Wifi network. Currently running OctaviOS android 11, no issues.
