it it's based on offocal kitkat firmware, do we have to flash the officiel kernel .681 ? As we have to in the others roms thread based on this new firmware..
Cause running custom rom with official kitkat on android 4.3 kernel sounds not safe to me... maybe i'm mistaking...
Just wondering before doing something wrong with my phone...

For LB?
So it's capable to use stock kernel?
That's something new...
I know some some guys tried to build MIUI based on stock ROM but they failed..
OK...let's wait and try it...
So, what you wanna say it'll work if we flash ROM (in recovery) and kernel from official ftf?

Good to have another ROM for Z1.. Thanks

no, the characteristics of this rom will be similar to that of LB, but will not include the kernel.

Is there anything I need to flash since I have C6902?

Hey there, I have KK, unlocked bootloader with DoomLord's recovery can I just install your ROM according to the instructions, on I need to take some additional steps, if yes, which are these?
Which recovery is included in the kernel?

Open ZIP with winrar/winzip or on device and check if there's boot.img
If you see that file, than that's kernel and you just have to flash zip in recovery...
You can also extract boot.img and flash it with fastboot
fastboot flash boot boot.img
Restart device to newly flashed recovery and then flash ROM to be 100% certain it will flash kernel properly...

Can't install Launcher Fix, also I cant provide you log files cause of missing launcher, could you upload a .ZIP with working launcher GE maybe?
So does that mean that everything is fully functional? Like the camera for example, is it the same as on the official KK or with limited functionality?
Are there any CM bugs or is it that now that the official KK came out, the necessary files were taken all the bugs are fixed?
Thank you for your responce... Im just curious cuz i wanna leave 4.3 behind and i wanna make the best ROM choice ;D
The fix launcher.zip does not work. Please upload another one thanks!
Update: Used omniswitch to get to the playstore and installed another launcher for now.
Can't change volume while playing music.
My feedback:
VolUp behaviour: previous track
VolDown behaviour: previous track
Viper4Android FX doesn't work for me, even if Force Enable V4A is ticked.
PimpMyZ1 (yes, I know) sets Headphone Analog Gain +10 by default - in fact its +0, and the slider is bugged.
Too much Xposed modules with overriding functions, AROMA would be cool
HUGE Sync problem - I can only sync: App Data, Contacts and People details, what about calendar?
Nice ROM

looking forward to flash this on my LB nice work btw
Has this on my phone a few days now, and I'm very impressed with it so far. No problems with the camera (but saying that I did flash the z2 camera files, but the camera didn't work but seemed to make the AOSP cam work better) this would be a keeper if there was some way to make the Sony camera work with this rom. Thank you and keep up the excellent work.

Main Features
1. Fast, stable and intended for gamers
2. Built from CM10.1 source with GCC 4.6 with O3 optimizations, heavily debloated , almost no 3rd party apps pre-installed
3. Version with SuperNexus Source is also available.
4. CyanCore Kernel included.
5. Additional tweaks ( vary from version to version )
6. For those people who love ROMs with lots of themes , customizations , apps etc , please leave now , you will be disappointed , this ROM is not for you.
3rd party apps
Nova Launcher
I understand that my ROM will sound simple and backward to many, but it is a stable and fast base for gaming, probably the fastest without OC, and with OC, it flies.......
Due to the cleanness of this ROM, it will provide exceptional battery backup too.
So do you users want a clean gaming oriented ROM or do you want your gaming to be riddled with problems and lags forever?
Feature Requests accepted, but only stuff which enhances the speed and stability, or betters gaming speed without lessening stability will be added.

Probably random FC or lags. It's better to wipe everything before flash any new ROM, trust me.
BTW, just flashed... Now I will try it with Antutu. (105% Live OC, ROW and 409 MB of RAM)

BTW , please use SIO and change value of queue in lazerdroid to sio and reboot.
ROW is causing some random lags for now.
Also, how is the ROM running? In terms of smoothness and all.

For now it's ok, smooth and flaswless, but I will say my real opinion when I will finish the restore...
Right now I'm using Antutu.. I swear in 4000+ points :fingers-crossed: !
EDIT: 4206 (RAM: 575, CPU Integer: 694, CPU Float-Point, 2D Graphic: 393, 3D Graphic: 1660, IO Database: 445, Write speed: 83, Read speed: 189).
Better than CM 10.1 but not very much :\
EDIT2: Modern Combat 4 (1.0, take from Gameloft.com) is really smooth, like in Slim or CM 10.1... But this really smooth gameplay will vanish after some time... After some reboots it will be unplayable (30 FPS + or -, 10 FPS the major drop). Anyone with this problem who solved? (Sorry for bad english)

Use:
For stock or custom rom based in stock 4.3 FW 10.4.B.0.569 or 10.4.1.B.0.101 and 4.4 FW 10.5.A.0.230 or 10.5.A.0.233
NOTE:
For users of the new firmware, there were changes in the kernel of 10.4.B.0.569 for 10.4.1.B.0.101! Screen rotation does not work!
Installation:
Flash via recovery
or
extract boot.img and flash via fastboot
Important note:
The version 5 and more newer
was replaced mpdecision by AutoSMP, I added a script to zip by removing dependencies mpdecision, then it is highly recommended to install via recovery, otherwise you will get two hotplug controllers, which will cause problems!
Please, do not mirror!

Tips:
For Overclock:
For people who use overclock, and the necessary modification of a rom file "sysmon.cfg"
This kernel has overclock up to 1.7GHz
then you should use this:
Flash via recovery sysmon.cfg Overclock 1728000
Note: If you use overclocked other frequency is necessary to modify sysmon.cfg for equivalent frequency
and obviously, if you do not overclock is not necessary to modify sysmon.cfg
Because modify sysmon.cfg?
Because without it the max frequencies not stick in all cores
For people who do want DoubleTap2Wake:
Use this app created by @Soheil_rf, thanks for this :good:
or
Flash this:
Enable DoubleTap2Wake
aaah, but I want to not use it, and now?
Go in /system/etc/init.d and remove 78DoubleTap2Wake
and restart

Thank you all for the comment :good:
I will investigate if it is possible to dualboot, anything I'll post here
since our apparatus is capable of installing a kernel by itself (via recovery) which is very fast and easy, it would not be very important
The idea is to have a lightweight and stable kernel
That's it friend this is for stock or custom rom based in stock 4.3
Then go deep!
Feature requests?
Hey D78,
this Kernel runs my phone quite a while now and while I am missing some features from doomkernel I am pretty happy about it as it is just everything working.
Do you take feature requests? It would be great to have doubletaptowake on this kernel
would you do that?
Greetings

And underclocking? If you would extend the frequency table to 192 MHz it would cause a noticeably better battery performance.
I myself would wish a intelli_plug, eco-mode and intelli_demand governor as well, but that's a lot to do and I'm premierement thankful to have a working kernel with recovery

I tried to add intelli-plug, but got compilation errors, need to dig to find the cause of the problem
However I have extended the table add 192000 MHz freq One thing I noticed is that only CPU0 (first core) running this frequency, perhaps this could be normal, but I think all colors have to get this freq
you know please tell me something more about it?

I don't know but I think that mpdecision switches unneeded cores off, so at the minimum minimum (the really lowest) frequency, which is in your table then 198000 Hz, there would in every case be only one active core. Is that plausible?
It would be interesting if that occurs a well if you add overclock frequencies.

since we have hotplug enabled by default...
I do not think, just believe it would become more fluid in the lower freq 192000 in all colors after a high freq
Caution!
NOTE:
For users of the new firmware, there were changes in the kernel of 10.4.B.0.569 for 10.4.1.B.0.101! Screen rotation does not work, we are waiting for the release of source code for new construction
Edit:
I found a way around this, for those who desire advanced kernel for new firmware

Kcal is still not working in latest version.
Only Rgb is working.
No saturation , contrast or value is working.
Tried via both given app and Synapse.
Kindly look into it.
Thanks for your work.

Soft problem
i updated rom from 2.1 to 3.0 and when i turn on my z1 it restarts immidietly at sim unlock screen

Hi, I appreciate the rom and the kernel. Runs solid and I love the additional governors. Awesome job with double tap also, I know its more battery consuming, but still love it hehe.
Would there be a possibility to have a version that just uses the stock logo rather than the customised one? wanting a completely stock look. Thanks alot for looking into this.
just to let you know...
You missspelled Kernel in the Header. You wrote Kerel.. Cheers
Hi i am unable to access any recovery via reboot menu and pimp my z1 app force closes . Im using C6903 stock 157 and latest kernel
works on C6943 model ?

Normally it's the rom then kernel. If you do it the other way around, the kernel in the rom will just overwrite the one you flashed.

find the problem: XZDR dual recovery of the rom. removed and now the phone starts .
best app for kernel control? faux? pimp my z1?
Double Tap To Wake Up?
I heard about, that the DTW-function is actually not possible on Xperia Z1, because there is an other display obstruct.
Are there any batteryproblems with it?
Maybe you can explain how it works
@venkat kamesh why do you need to include the mpdecision binary in the zip? Will the kernel work correctly if flashed only via fastboot? I am asking becouse there are files related to wifi in the zip that will not be installed if the kernel is flashed via fastboot. Then you should tell users to flash the zip after flashing via fastboot or remove the files from zip if not needed.

actually mpdecision file runs in our system as a vendor executable file and what it does is that it controls the governor for cpu.
this file will defines performance of your cpu1, the file gets executed every time your screen goes off
and mpdecision file overwrites the cpu1 governor settings to userspace ondemand, userspace is the governor when cpu1 is online and ondemand when offline.
so i used it
Thx bro waiting long time for this
I know what mpdecision does. But it is already included in the stock rom. In one version of the DooMKernel the binary was renamed. To revert this DooMLorD included the stock binary in the flashable zip. So unless you use a modified mpdecision binary it makes no sense to include it in the zip.
aw the download link is removed/disabled.
i assume ur uploading the new zip file with the xda recovery removal script
anyway, great work and thank you so much for the kernel, as soon as the download link is available again i will download and test

Work perfectly in mx rom 236!! Thanks bro
Hi
i tried to install this Kernel over the Kryptonian image - sadly it stopped at 50% and run out of battery.... Now i cant turn the phone on anymore.
I installed Kryptonian, installed the Battery fix and then rebootet into the image.
After that i rebootet back to recovery and installed the Kernel. It stoped at 50%. Cant turn on my phone anymore (Z1 compact) also i cant go into recovery anymore to reinstall Kryptonian.
Fastboot would work but flashtool complains the kernel.elf files from the kryptonian image are not bootable - and the kernel.img here is well transfered but doesnt change anything...
can u please tell me what kernel i can flash to get the recovery back and retry everything?
Is this Kernel not suitable for the D5509 Z1Compact?

You can try flash twrp 3.0 for z1 compact using flashtools in fastboot mode. In that case your phone will go to recovery and you can flash again other kernel compatible with z1 compact

yep it does !!
I'm running the ROM Ressurection Remix and was wondering, would I be able to flash this kernel ontop of it? I would test it myself but I'm afraid of either soft or hard bricking my device.
Thanks in advance
