I did it on "download mode" keeping the phone turned on doesn't seem to work..it always end up saying please connect the phone with computer. I did flashed the phone twice on download mode successfully. Does flashing in software mode works? what mode do you use to flash?

I use lg mobile support tool. I connect the phone with the lg software mode. Then i click on the top update recovery. The software downloads and i just wait. When the download finishes the phone will automaticly go in the download mode and it flashes.

that's the thing tho the software will download the latest version of android and flash it...but I was downgrading my phone to 4.1.2

I tried this app and in the driver portion of it I selected ATT but there is no E980 driver shown in the menu. I suppose because I already have the driver installed? Either way, this doesn't work for me. It just keeps telling me I have the latest software and when I try to do the upgrade repair it tells me there is nothing to upgrade/fix. I was going to use this app to go back to pure stock because I am now getting the "your phone is not registered yet" error. From browsing the forums I came across one that said you get this error when you flash a non standard Rom to your phone.
I used Lg Flash Tools to flash the 10P update for my phone, E980, so I don't think that's the problem. It is the correct file. I hope anyway.

you should try to push the correct build.prop via the adb. then all should work. and don't put OPEN in build.prop you should put spr (small letters)
SOrry but my cellphone is DEAD. ONly firmware update and recovery mode is working.

you still have custom recovery? if yes, adb side load sprint rom from the sprint development section, then flash it (make sure it flashes successful) Now, your phone should be a sprint g2 again. Now try flashing stock sprint rom via lg flasher tool. It should work now.

updating through lg flasher tool, will not work. Because, it would think your lg isn't a sprint one anymore. so, first check if you have root, then flash custom recovery via this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2449670
then, once you have custom recovery, flash an sprint rom from sprint development section. Also, to do this you need basic ADB knowledge which isn't that difficult.

[Help!] Think I'm bricked. What can i do?

Ok so i bought the 400k model and then really wanted the international version so bought that too to then sell my 400k.
My 400k was rooted so I wanted to load the new software on using flash tool. So last night for 4 hours I tried and it won't. But my problem now is that I cannot get rid of this screen below. I have tried:
-battery pull - doesn't work and just comes back to screen
-any combination of buttons e.g. long press power button plus volume disc or long press power button only. None of them work.
-Drain the battery completely. Doesn't work back to that screen.
What can i do?

Did you try to follow this thread? When you plugged your USB cable in to your device did you change the Port to 41? Then follow all the instructions to restore your "K"?

Yeah those are the instructions i followed last night. I must have tried it 20 times! Port was changed and it just hung on 6% for 20 minutes. Then each other time it would sometimes try for a percentage and sometimes not work at all. So then i thought i will just factory reset but now it just won't move from that screen no matter what i do.

rooted for first time and removed com.lge.sui.widget now settings not working, help

Hey im new here!
I've had my G3 a while and today i decided to root it and try to install cyanogenmod. So the root went fine i rooted with Kingroot (blue white crown logo) it went fine and it said phone is rooted. but i got stuck a little bit after that when trying to unlock bootloader and kind of advanced stuff like that I downloaded the app ''System app remover (ROOT)'' just to try out some awesome root stuff.
I removed a couple of pre installed programs and files (com.lge.sui.widget was problably then only was that was bad to remove) and now i cant access settings ( little window appearing saying ''Unfortunately settings has stopped working" and my widgets does not work at all. I tried to unroot the phone again with SuperSU but it just says it needs update (which is not working). And root checker says my phone is till rooted, so.
I saw this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/help/removed-com-lge-sui-widget-bricked-t3145799 and i wonder is this working (flash kdz)? And then i saw this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVLd-HlqveE and it seems quite easy so will this help?
There is another problem i tried to factory reset phone (hard reset when power on it) and i just does not work, when i press yes on everything i shows lg logo BUT with terminal up at the left corner and it says something with error Boot cerification only error and then screen just turns black, and light start blinking red and blue ( it stop when i press volume+ tho?).
After this i can't boot until unplug and plug battery in again then i can boot normally.
So do you guys think this will work? :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVLd-HlqveE or some of this http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/help/removed-com-lge-sui-widget-bricked-t3145799?
And lg has no official firmware to get it fully factory STOCK or repair software or anything like that?
I guess i should not have tried rooting and stuff att all, it all seems so difficult
I've got an d-855
Thanks
Looks like you were on lollipop and tried to install twrp via twrp manager or flashify?
What state is your phone now? If you can´t boot to android (you should be able to boot..) try holding volume up and connect to pc, see if it loads download mode(software upgrade mode)

So i should download this KDZ file then: http://storagecow.eu/Xda/LG G3/Stock/D855/Europe D85530B_00_1217.kdz? My android version i lollipop i believe but im not entirely sure. I downloaded app ''My android'' and it said lollipop 5.0 so i guess it is. Then i just use the software and follow instructions/the yt video? Thanks.
This one is Marshmallow. If you tend to have a rooted device without custom recovery(twrp) then I would stick with lollipop version 20(20a, b,..., up to 21a)
But marshmallow should provide smoother transitions and overall system performance and features. You can revert at any time.

[Need Help] ZE551ML Bootloop and No Fastboot

So, recently I tried to use this ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/development/stock-rom-ul-z00a-ww-2-20-40-168-t3354526
after revert back from CM13 custom ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/zen.../rom-cyanogenmod-13-0-nightly-builds-t3264492
But the result is my phone stuck in Asus logo.
Tried to access recovery by pressing power button + volume up but cannot go into recovery.
Tried to connect phone to PC via USB cable but the phone is not detected (cannot try fastboot from PC).
Here is what I did before my phone bricked:
1. Reboot into recovery (I'm using TWRP)
2. Wipe everything except MicroSD
3. Install SuperSU (downloaded from the thread)
4. Install ROM v168 (downloaded from the thread)
5. Reboot system
After that my phone stuck in Asus logo.
Tried to search solution from many sources still no luck. Already posted in the thread but still no answer from anyone.
Please help because I don't have backup phone :crying:
Thanks.
Did you really flash supersu before you flashed the Rom? That's probably the cause. Have you tried any of the bootloop solutions posted here yet?

If you cant go recovery try using this method..
It goddamn works
Requires sometime to understand it though. But you'll get it

I've followed the steps provided in the thread so I assumed that superSU was flashed already.
How to verify if it's flashed or not? Can I verify before moving on to the next step?
My phone is resurrected now thanks to steps provided by summit.
Could it be because I was using TWRP before?

1. Make sure your device shows up for awhile during boot
(when the phone vibrates upon boot)
2. Make sure you selected MOOREFIELDS.
3. Once done selecting the files " change the gp override flag under OPTION to 0x80000807"

Redmi 5A softbricked while the bootloader is locked after using the phone normally

Hello people of XDA
My Redmi 5A got softbricked and I'm not sure why since I wasn't (and never have) using it for rooting/installing new ROM/etc., I was using it for normal usage. (Didn't install anything that might cause the phone to just shutdown like that too)
Currently, my Redmi only shows:
-The system has been destroyed screen
-Fastboot mode
-Recovery mode
Methods I've tried:
-Mi Assistant/Mi PC Suite, which is useless because my phone cannot connect to it because the USB debugging is not turned on and I have no way of turning it on. Which made my phone unable to be recognized by the assistant, but it is recognizable by my laptop. (for extra info)
-ADB & Fastboot, which is also fruitless as of this far because after running the flash_all.bat, it says that my device is locked and cannot be erased. (exta info: I downloaded the EU-fastboot version)
-Factory reset and reboot.
I'm really not familiar with this situation, but as far as I've learned in the internet, that means my Redmi's bootloader is locked (?)
I do have the option to go to Xiaomi's service center, but I just want to know if this is fixable at home.
Thank you in advance for any help!

I know you are not comfortable giving remote access.
I will make a tutorial on Monday to flash the device without authorisation.
